This window washing service is so terrible I don't know where to begin. I could literally go one for 10 pages, but in a nutshell: Mark (the owner) used Google Earth to look at my house and decide if he could handle the job. I told him I had a vintage home with more than 80 windows and a combination of old and new but all with storms and screens. He assured me he'd send his best "TEAM" of guys to take care of it. There's where it all went south. 1. They didn't show up at all for the first appointment. When for some insane reason I called and actually gave him a chance to reschedule he confirmed the afternoon of Thursday, 9/21 for the appointment. Wednesday night he called and tried to convince me to have a neighbor let them in on their own in the morning since I had a meeting and wouldn't be there. I said I'd rather cancel. He relented and said THEY would be there at 11:00. At 1:30, ONE GUY showed up - to wash 87 windows. He was completely shocked by the scope of the job and didn't know where to begin. Ultimately, he decided to remove all the storms and screens and pile them on driveway. That took 2 hours. At 5:00 another guy and his girlfriend showed up. Between the two of them they dripped dirty water all over my windowsills, left dirt all over my windows, and dabbed with the corner of a cloth around the edges. I begged them all to leave at 6:30 and was promised they'd be back the next day. The next day the first guy showed up again with a second guy he swore would be great. SEVEN HOURS later (at 7:45 PM), they had finally finished washing the windows, but not the storms and screens. They brought all the storms and screens back into the house (still dirty) and stacked them up all over random bedrooms and my living room and family room. We tripped over them for days! The first guy finally came back 5 days later on his own to return the storms and screens to their proper places. I was out of town and had a babysitter let him in to finish the job and pay him. When I returned the next week I found that he had the storms and screens just PROPPED into the frames! Not fit into the tracks, not properly reinstalled at all, and NONE of the storms and screens had actually been washed and neither had the sills. Also, several screens were bent so that they no longer fit into the windows, and 2 were missing entirely. I had my sitter give him the check for the job, so it's too late to get my money back, but I just paid another company to actually wash my windows (which were dirty - how could he wash them in the dark?!?!), and return the storms and screens to good working order. This place caused so much mess and stress in my house. I paid them $550, to do a job that typically costs me $5 per window, or $475 WITH a $50 tip. But I've now had to pay that all over again to get the windows actually clean. WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. DO NOT HIRE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! read more
