Contacted this company for an estimate on gutter cleaning. At the time I called he was doing a job but told me he would provide an estimate upon his return to the office. That evening I received my estimate which was reasonable and I was able to schedule an appointment for the following week. The day of my appointment it was raining so I thought it would be postponed. My appointment was at 8am. The rain stopped around 7:50am and at 7:57am Yanni and his son were at my house. They cleaned the gutters and reattached some where the screws were loose. The job was completed by 8:40am. They were very professional and efficient. I will definitely use them again for this service. read more

Yanni is amazing. Our 4 story HOA had water leaking in during heavy rains through a spot where our fourth floor bay window meets the brick, and along that window edge. Yanni came the day after I called him. He strapped his ropes to the steel staircase railings and descended down the side of the building to fix the metal bay windows that were leaking. He estimated $180 for the repair, and then when he saw how clogged the gutters were he asked for another $140 since that took so much time. He was on scene for 2-3 hours, and we paid him $320. I was quoted 1-2k by everyone else just for the water leak repair/rappelling. Yanni also took apart the gutter Y that connected our scupper box with our neighbors, and he pulled out a crushed soda can, a water bottle, and two bricks worth of sediment that were all jammed in the gutter. To fix our leaks he bent the metal trim to slope properly and then sealed with caulk. He took some pics as he was dangling and sent them to me later so I could see the before and after work up-close. Yanni has a great price and great attitude. He's a little hard to understand via text but way easier in person. He's passionate, energetic, safe, and thorough. He can't do huge stuff but he can caulk, repair/replace gutters, etc. read more

Yanni has restored my faith in hiring anyone to do any service on our house! We are new homeowners and our first experience hiring anyone for service was terrible (a plumber took a $10k deposit 6 months ago and is making small payments back to us because he didn't do the job and cant afford to refund us). This is my first Yelp review, but I felt compelled after seeing some of the negative reviews here. I had a drainage issue over my outside door. I sought out multiple quotes from other businesses and they all came in incredibly (and unreasonably) high. That's if I could get someone to come out and even look at the issue. Many did not even identify the root of the problem. Finally, I called Affordable Window & Gutter. Within hours, Yanni had gotten back to me. He already stopped by to look at the issue as I left the address in my voicemail to him. He knew exactly what needed to be fixed and gave an affordable and reasonable quote. We scheduled a repair and he and his colleague showed up right on time and did terrific work. Couldn't be happier. I plan to make them my first call for any work like this in the future. read more

What terrible customer service. On Friday we had an appointment at 11 am, and they didn't show up. The condo association president said they were running late. At 1:30 pm I gave them a call. Didn't pick up, but finally called back at 4:30 pm. He apologized for his no-show. I let it go... We rescheduled for today at 11 am. We "clearly" said to one another at 11am on Sunday. This morning at 10:05 am, I get a call saying they are ready to go. I said, our appointment is at 11 am. He then sighs heavily and angrily says, "we are here now, we have appointments all day!" "But our appointment is at 11 am," I said. "Oh My GOD! We have appointments all day, we have to go!" I respond, "but our appointment is at 11 am." Then he starts going off underneath his breath. Anyone looking to have gutters cleaned or shingles on any sort of roof checked should definitely give Affordable Window & Gutter Cleaning a call. Yanni showed up in full climbing gear for my very tall roof and didn't hesitate to climb up and inspect/clean it all. Just had my gutters cleaned and I am very happy with the service I received from Affordable Windows & Gutters. We called and left 3 messages before anyone called us back. They apologized and said they'd get us a quote right away and then we never heard from them again. We left one more message before deciding they didn't want our business. Not sure why you would blow off a potential client who was referred to you by someone, but our new gutter service got us a quote and cleaned the gutters within 2 days of the initial phone call so it seems that we are better off for it. read more

As other reviewers have said, Yanni is very friendly and literally whistles while he works. He did give us a quote quickly and scheduled to come out and both clean our gutters while installing gutter guards and wash our building's windows and he did it all in one day. I was happy with his work, until we had a separate issue with our sunporch roofs and needed our roofing company to come out and repair some flashing and silver coat the small roofs. While doing so they found that the work they did last Fall on our main roof had been compromised by some strange metal pieces that someone had screwed directly into and through the silver coat! As Yanni was the only one up there after those roof repairs last Fall I believe these must be the "rain diverters" he spoke of putting in place while handling our gutter guards. I assumed he was installing something on the gutters as he didn't specify that he would be doing anything to the main roof. Since he said he also handles roofing, I would be extremely cautious if you're considering him for anything dealing with your roof and also get clarification on his gutter proposal. He really was a sweet, friendly guy, but he ended up costing our building extra money to remove and patch over his rain diverters. read more

Yanni and I corresponded over a couple emails that included pricing for gutter cleaning quotes. After a couple of days, and Yanni checking out the gutters, we agreed on home and garage gutter cleaning. After having the weather interfere with our original date we rescheduled. During the cleaning, Yanni had to do a patch and informed me of a section that needed to be replaced. He said he would give me a quote via email. What I didn't know was that the piece that needed to be repaired was now hanging off. I called him back immediately after checking his work (dirt and leaves everywhere which I cleaned) and he said that was the section that he was telling me about that needed the repairs. The piece was not falling off(leaning away from the house) before Yanni cleaned the gutters and now it is(at least leave it the way you found it). He also didn't bother to clean the garage gutters and acted like he was in a hurry to leave after he received a phone call. Needless to say, I will not use him again. Rushing to get paid and leave was unprofessional and leaving the gutter hanging was sloppy. read more

I finally met Yanni yesterday. What a pleasant man. Anyway gutters and mess cleaned up and out. Fast and reasonable. I usually do mine off a 6ft ladder which takes hours, and certain spots I need someone to foot it due to uneven ground. Yanni gets on the roof and does it from there. Very efficient.
