Was going to meet my daughter here and grab a burger at 5 when ElBrewjo started serving, surprised to see the 5pm brewery open time. We ended up uberring from my house, which is smart because parking is hard to identify here, because it's a business park and you hate to take somebody's parking. Ended up trying 3 beers and a giant triple smash burger- delicious. Had their English style beer on nitro, this was fabulous! Started with the American Red, love a red ale! I'm only going to write about their Hoppy Pils since there are no other breweries that do it better than GC. Out of the last 20x I've been there, maybe once have they let me down, and that was because I went between their releases. They didn't much of selection at that time. But all other times, thank you for good a good, flavorful, hoppy, light, beer. And thank you for making beers without Citra hops. I've never eaten the food there, but everyone I've gone with says it is good. For you vegetarians, good luck! Most of the time the food is target toward meat eaters. You could get fries when they have burgers. But I don't go there for food anyways, so no big deal. Please don't change anything about this location. Came to Green Cheek Beer Co on a Tuesday around 5 pm and was way too excited that we actually found parking without circling forever!!! We ordered a bunch of apps to share and honestly the low key standout was the broccoli. It had this really nice Asian flare to it that made it way more interesting than your typical veggie side. Super flavorful and not boring at all. The tater tots were good like always, crispy! I got the lavender lemonade drink and totally forgot the name, but it tasted like a light lemonade soda. Slightly lemonny, refreshing, not too sweet. It was easy to drink and paired well with everything we ordered. There is so much outdoor seating which makes it great for big groups. Once you get past the parking situation, it is such a solid spot to hang out, share food, and just chill for the evening. read more

This is a very good micro/brewery with some fantastic beer and seltzers. I love their Paloma seltzer. It is very good, served over ice with a slice of grapefruit. No food here, save for some bagged munchies, but they always seem to have very good food trucks serving tasty food options. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere very casual and it's dog friendly. Not sure if it's cat friendly, but if it's not I would blame them. read more

This was my first time at Green Cheek Beer Co. and it is definitely a place to have a lot of laughs and with a feeling of community. People of all generations were well represented. Brewery located in an industrial area of Orange. The space is pretty sizable with outdoor and indoor seating. The beer tenders are friendly, and there seems to be a good variety of beer styles available at any given time. Green Cheek is one of those breweries where I've been to a handful of times over the years - not coming in more often due to the distance of where I live, but I've had their beers at beer shares tons of times. My most recent trip, I came down to pick up a few bottles of this collaboration they had with one of my favorite breweries in St. Louis. While I was there, I also ordered a couple of beers to enjoy before leaving. It was a Friday night so I was getting pretty crowded by the time I left. If I lived closer, I definitely would be hitting up this place a lot more often but it's always a pleasure to stop by when I can. LOVE love LOVE all of their beers and seltzers! One of our local watering holes frequently has a Green Cheek beer on tap and we fell in love with them. On our trip down to Southern CA, we had to make a stop in and I'm so glad we did. The brewery is tucked back in an industrial area, they do a good job with signs to get you to the taproom. The brewery isn't huge but it's cozy with indoor and outdoor seating. They also have an area where you can stand and drink if that's your jam. They had quite a few beers on tap that we can't get in Sacramento so we made a couple of flights so we could taste most of the beers. The staff was super awesome, asked us about our trip and gave us some suggestions for other places to visit while in town (total plus). TO-GO: They had a handful of beers to-go at a reasonable price which made it easy to take a few with us. PARKING: They share the parking lot but you shouldn't have any issues finding a spot. A decent local brewery here in Orange. The design and set up of the place is really cute and different. I was a fan of the light colors and plants in the place. Location is in an industrial small warehouse complex and it was easy to miss off the Main Street. Follow the signs they have posted and you will find the establishment right in the middle. Outdoor parking lot has tables and chairs and indoors has picnic style tables for seating. A lot of family and people with their doggie here. For a smallish place it was fairly busy with the locals. Beer options are standard. Decent amount of seltzers and IPAs. As a light beer/ale drinker there was only a one Pilsner on the menu. A single food vender is set up outside this day it was a brunch guy. Overall it's a nice spot definitely different than the other breweries. A nice local busy vibe with families and popular drink options. read more

Great spot! Went here with our 3 month old while our other two toddlers stayed with family. First mistake was bringing the newborn. second mistake not coming here sooner. Great spot, limited parking but if you get there early you're good. They had burgers and sheeesh sooooo good. Burgers were from el Brewjo! I got the melt burger and was DELICIOUS. My husband got the walk of shame, think breakfast sandwich with smash burger. As for beer we got the flight. Loved the sour and the ipa's! The hazy was our favorite. Sadly had to leave behind our beer because our newborn had an hour meltdown in the car so much for celebrating our anniversary. Oh well. Still great spot, great beer, and great service. Great Brewery. I want to highlight the excellent customer service with a recent issue. I had purchased a 4 pack of the Lavy Lemonade (which is excellent). On the way home, 2 of the cans leaked (which is exceptionally rare). I gave Green Cheek a call and they responded immediately. Even though it was not a big issue for me, they took the issue seriously and responded with great customer service that is rare to see these days. Great IPAs, especially some of their double/triples they release. This and Monkish are 2 of my favorite breweries in SoCal. The Costa Mesa location is nicer than this location (which is in a more office building area, with less quaint outdoor seating). Their outdoor seating is tables they bring outside. There's a food truck that comes to serve food - not sure if it changes daily/weekly (have not tried it). Been here a few times with some friends after frequenting a nearby business. Nothing special just happened to be a convenient spot to catch up. Very easy to find a table because it would be empty except for the instances when they would have a third party food truck park there since there is no food otherwise. I noticed that they had a Michelada on their menu so I had to get it--micheladas are kind of my thing! Theirs was great--crisp and refreshing, with a nice spicy rim. Would definitely love to get again. There's lots of seating inside and out, and while it was empty when we got there when they first opened, it was definitely getting filled up by the time we left about an hour later; it's a popular place for good reason! One of my Top 3 breweries in Orange County! We ALWAYS stop here before an Angels or Ducks game. I love Green Cheek, and especially their Orange location. Plenty of seating (indoors and outdoors). Kid and dog friendly. They always have a great food truck lineup. Beertenders are friendly. And the beer is great! I am an IPA girl, so I always like to try whatever IPA's are on tap. They also have a lavender lemonade seltzer that is pretty good. My favorite summer option here are their slushees (the mango with chamoy rim is my favorite!) The slushees rotate weekly throughout summer and are always a fun and tasty option. They truly have something for everyone here, whether you like beer or not. We have been ordering beer/sours/seltzers from here for a while, but we were too far to stop by and check it out. So happy to finally be close and stop by! Place is small but has lots of seating indoor and outdoor. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I got their slushy they have rotating flavors. It was so good and didn't melt to quickly. I like the touch of having of sugar rim but it was not to sweet so not sure if it was mixed with something else. I did not try any other beers but will be back to try other slushy's. Prices are reasonable and we took some souvenirs with us as well as beer to go. Can't wait to go back when in orange area again. read more

Like all Green Cheek locations, this place only serves the highest quality of beers. I tried their new collab with Bottle Logic and it was fantastic. I'm new to the whole beer cocktail thing but these guys do it right. The new birdhouse pilot was fantastic. Honestly I don't think I've ever been here and had a bad beer. Even their non alcoholic option is a pretty solid drink. Service is also fantastic and for how busy they were on a Friday night the staff really had it down. Making sure every one was been taken care of in a quick and timely manner. Unlike the Costa Mesa location, this one does not have on site food, but they have a variety of food trucks stop by almost daily. Although this location is in a warehouse they've been able to make it look nice and not a bad place to hang out at. Overall you can never go wrong coming here. I do prefer the Costa Mesa location since they do serve food and overall it's closer to me, but if you're in the area I highly recommend stopping by. read more

Stopped in for a Sunday pre-brunch/hike/Disneyland beer! This brewery is a neighborhood favorite of my friends and I. The BEER- Incredible!! The consistency of this brewery is admirable. They reproduce their core line up with accuracy, and have a consistent revolution of classics and newbies to mix things up. They are well known for their classic European beer styles as well as many hop-forward beers (not just IPAs). Personally, I am in the WEST COAST IPA Camp, but they brew some pretty ingenious East Coast hazys too. For the non-beer drinkers, the have an incredible Lavender Lemonade seltzer & slushees The Service- The "majority" of the staff here is fantastic! Many of the beertenders have a pretty good amount of beer knowledge and are happy to answer questions while maintaining a fairly busy taproom. Today we had the pleasure of being served by Annie who is always delightful and incredibly knowledgeable! This is definitely a brewery where you can feel comfortable asking questions and developing your beer-palette. Ambience- This an incredibly family friendly brewery! The taproom is painted blue and has a bunch of wooden cut-outs of clouds and their mascot: Cheeky the Bird. On the weekends there is outdoor seating with barrel high-tops & picnic benches. The restrooms are gen-neutral and are usually pretty clean, though there are no mirrors, which can be annoying if wanting to check teeth or make-up. Randomness- They have tons of beer to-go as well as a drive through to pick up beer quickly. There are 3 locations. Free arcade console in the tap room! Standard sized pints, not the tiny American pints! DOG FRIENDLY Food trucks: see their instagram for updates. Merch & snack racks are near the registers. Taproom can accommodate large parties as well as be reserved for special events (contact mgmt). Smoking outside at least 20 feet from any entry door, including cigars, cigarettes, & even those embarrassing cotton candy vape pens that are THE WORST.
