Service was friendly, no complaints there. The beer however was...interesting. Not much on the menu appealed to us - was hoping for a hazy or a mexican lager but having enjoyed kölsch in Cologne decided to check out their kölsch. It tasted like- apple juice? The seating is kind of funky- the chairs and height of the tables don't quite align. Unfortunately can't say I would recommend this place. read more

Let's start off by saying that I'm not a fan of seltzers because they are normally very weak, fairly replicate the same flavors for most places and don't grab my attention. I left with 2 Crowlers that day. At 8-9% abv, sweet and crisp ( The Pineapple Huckleberry seltzer and the cherry lime) A small batch. A total of 8-10 beers on tap occasionally. But very well crafted. The ambience inside is very clean, and simple with some decent space. There is no food but it's on Palm in the city of Anaheim. 10/10 Beer Quality all their craft beers are made in house. It is a small place, but a very cool vibe. That's very western. Cow-boyish. Their bartender Bill is a class act and great conversation. I bought a 4 pack of Skip Wagon, canned on April 11, one of the beers was nice and had a healthy pale straw color, but unfortunately the other 3 were dark amber colored; they were definitely oxidized and it was hopefully just an off batch from the production team. It's a bummer because the whole pack was $32, which is a pretty hefty price even for beer you can actually drink. I've been a Beertender for 6 years, and I have a level 1 cicerone, so you can take my word for it. The service was fairly good and the beertender who helped me was very engaging. I didn't get her name but she was a younger woman with brown hair, maybe 5'5"/5'6"; whoever you are props to your service and keep it up!! If you are a micro brewery fan, you need to visit here. Many options to choose from and the tasting glasses for $2 are super cute. Yes, I'm gushing over the cute glassware and took a photo of it. They don't serve food, so you can bring in your own. And it's family friendly with games and a coloring. My kiddo started sketchy out her own coaster and didn't finish, which means we'll have to go back to add it to their coaster wall. Found this gem as I heard there had been a new brewing company that had opened up sometime recently. A bigger when was that I've heard they serve seltzers. Typically breweries will have craft beers but often not many choices for your non beer loving spouse and sometimes just non alcoholic options. It was rather calm for Saturday afternoon. But give us a great chance to learn more about the brewery which apparently opened in May 2020. Not the best time to be opening but you could've predicted how that year was going to happen. Staff that was the opportunity to try some of the menu. My big favorite was the Tunnel One American Red Ale. My wife feel in love with the blackberry-seltzer. We even had a couple outside as we were dining that both ordered the blackberry seltzer I'm sure that was all they think about since last week and they have it. So seems like a hot ticket. There was a German food truck there when we arrived. If you check out the menu on the screen, look for the ticker on the bottom that will show upcoming events and food trucks. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. Staff was super friendly. There is a trivia night that according to the staff gets pretty competitive it is a fun night. An unexpected pleasure and great tasting brew. I found the establishment by accident and had a nice experience. Chey was a pleasure to share life's sojourn, straight out of the Wild West. She talked about the other brews available and their characteristics. I settled on the blond brew and wasn't disappointed. It was tasty and crisp. I highly recommend the brewery as you won't be disappointed with both the beer and ambience. Kudos! read more

I came here with my friends to do my 2nd annual fake but real beer festival and it was a fun stop. They have a variety of games to play and a range of drink selection. The workers weren't too interactive, but I think they realized there was just a lot of big groups drinking today and let us all be. It's walking distance from 3-4 other breweries so a great spot to start or even end at cause of that ability to walk. read more

Came here for the first time today with my SO, great atmosphere and good music selection. Chairs are comfy and plenty of room to sit at tables. Good game options if you want some board games. SO tried the Light of my Life Coffee IPA and it was pretty damn good. We're huge beer snobs and are super impressed. I had the Huck-A-Pine and man this was such a good combo of flavors (huckleberry and pineapple) and it was at 9.5%!! Delicious and did not have the 9.5% feel so be careful! Friendly service, enjoyable beers, fun trivia! I ordered a flight with a rice lager and some IPAs - all were tasty, refreshing. We went for thurs night trivia - interesting trivia format - you're presented with all the questions at once during each round in the format of a google forms so you have a set time to complete the round but go at your own pace to answer all the questions in that round. The host was amicable and came around to give hints, which kept things engaging. There are prizes - we won a gift card which was exciting since we were planning to return again for trivia anyhow so it'll help fund our next trivia night! read more

Apparently my review was taken down because some Karen doesn't have a sense of humor. Here it is again minus the "offensive" content. My first brewery review in WAY too long! But here it is, brewery visit #144. This one opened during the beginning of the @&$%% plague and fortunately survived unlike many small businesses. I was actually meeting a guy and needed a place to do a shady deal. I figured as long as I was driving to meet someone I might as well do it at a brewery. After we dodged the cops doing our deal...ok, I was selling a surfboard! Don't report me Karen! Well, after the deal I had a quick flight of four. They were just getting opened up, and yes Yelp they were complying with all of the edicts. A food truck was just arriving as I sat down outside. The Old Ember IPA is a nice 62 IBU beer. Nice solid hop bitterness but definitely drinkable. Even by those who don't worship at the altar of the hoppiest beers simply because it's the newest fad. Coyote Crossing pale ale is very nice. A bit of malt as well as a little hop. Nicely balanced between the two and a good beer to introduce people to hop flavor without making their hair grow in weird places. The Train Wreck lager had a bit of a fruity aroma and flavor that just didn't work for me. I didn't love this one. Ok, main event here...the Night Shift oatmeal stout on nitro! This was a beautiful beer with a thick long-lasting head and of course very fine and creamy from the nitro. It tasted as good as it looked. Smooth, flavorful, creamy and just all the goodness an oatmeal stout should have, but with the bonus of being on nitro. I decided to grab two crowlers to take home, although I was disappointed that the red ale was not on tap. I went with the Meridian brown ale since SWPFTD loves brown ale, and the Coyote Crossing. This was a great little brewery and I would love to stop back in when I have more time to try the rest of the line up. Great new brewery on the block, they have been around for around a year or so. I may be off on the time frame but with the whole Covid-19 time is but a number counting against us now. But at least you have another great small independent brewer who is dedicated to the craft and giving the people what they want. Ice cold beers and seltzers, hooray!!! Back before the second wave of shut down, I got to come here a handful of times. They usually always have a great food truck set up outside so if you are hungry they have you covered. They have a vast variety of beers to choose from. The owner here is super nice and really fun to chat beer with. He knows his stuff and his beer is only getting better. I have tried a few and the names slip my mind but I really enjoyed the single IPA, his stout, and his brown ale which features a wild yeast that he makes. The only one I tried that I didn't care for was the double IPA. It was a little much for me. He had a APA getting ready to go on tap that I got to try but I never made it back to get a full pour. Poor me : ( In the land of awesome breweries that is Anaheim make sure this a stop in your beer tour. A great family-owned place to check out and support. Happy that we were able to check this place out since outdoor dining has reopened. They had a food truck out front, a decent amount of outdoor seating, and about 15 beers on tap. The service and staff are super friendly. We got two flights of 4 beers each so were able to try 8 beers in total (they have a couple seltzers we didn't try). Most of the beers were pretty solid. Some we really enjoyed, like the pale lager and oatmeal stout, and some we didn't love, like the Liquid Containment IPA, which had a metallic taste to it. It was nice to sit outside, enjoy the beer, and the food from the truck nearby. Overall, a good experience and will go back if in the area. read more

Large selection of great beers (and strong seltzers), my favorites being the Summer Thunder (Saison), Skip Wagon IPA (Galaxy and Mosaic hops), Dusty Britches (Wheat Pale Ale), and the Huck-a-Pine (9.5% Huckleberry Pineapple seltzer). Atmosphere is incredibly welcoming; Heidi, Stephanie, and the other bartender (sorry I never got your name!) are always great to talk to. Always feel like this place is like another home. Overall a great place to hang out and have a few brews. Being located right on La Palma in the heart of Brewer's Row, these guys are more than worthy of a visit. read more

Wanted to like it but all the beers we tried (almost all of them) were very disappointing. Their varieties were very generic and run of the mill, which is fine BUT they were sub-par versions. Nothing we tried we would order again or even call good. We basically had to shoot our flight because we didn't enjoy any of them. So unfortunate because I had previously LOVED Hoparazzi. The customer service wasn't bad but they also weren't friendly either, and we sat at the bar top. It was just "what would you like...?" And that was the extent of the conversation. read more

Such a fun intimate brewery! This is my first time here. I had to try the hard seltzer. I tried the blackberry seltzer and the Huckleberry-pineapple seltzer. I'm so glad they are open, with a nice cooled seating and outdoor patio. Very nice and friendly service, dog friendly, and even bringing extra water for the dogs. They really liked the water, too. I did as well, probably more than most of their beers. Out of all on their beer menu, Calico Blond, Dirty Britches and a pale ale were decent. Unfortunately, another four were completely off, iodine favored. Blackberry seltzer is delicious, very refreshing! Wishing them well to grow and be able to stay open! read more

So, we dropped off our RV for service and discovered this place. Tonight we checked it out. Everyone was super nice. My husband and I each had a flight and our food was great, care of Monkey Business Cafe food truck. We are definitely coming back. I have a date with a stout. Our kids loved their food and enjoyed playing with the giant tic tac toe and connect 4. They have inside seating as well as patio seating.
