Service was great. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere was cozy. My favorite is their brown ale with hazelnut and vanilla.

Broken Timbers Brewing is an absolute Gem! I'm honestly baffled this brewery company isn't absolutely packed to the brim with people. It's in the back of downtown Placentia, which is currently under a revamp and isn't getting the respect it deserves. Heidi is so cool and gave off such a great vibe. She was informative, laid back and talking with her for the first time was like meeting with an old friend you haven't seen in a while. I was hooked on the nitro 1 it kind of reminded me of a Guinness and it was so smooth. It was Spectacular! I really enjoyed the outdoor seating that gave off a comfy kick back vibe. The inside of Timbers is so cute! If you are here with friends or on a date it's a perfect chill spot to hang out and relax. This brewery is very underrated.

Great beer! You can tell they care about the flavor profile. I haven't had a better simple but delicious stout in a long time. Love the old town vibes and playlist. The chill lady tending the goods has great recommendations and knows what she is talking about! Will be back. Nice classic brewery

Stopped in on our way to get dinner just to look around. The decor is a quaint old west theme, hence the name so it flows well. There are board games available to use. The owner was very personable and knowledgeable about the area. Which we appreciated since we grew up in the city. They have the original one in Anaheim off of La Palma. They have a variety of house made seltzers and of course beers. Not a beer drinker but the selzter was tasty! They have prepacked snacks available for purchase and T-shirts so you can rep your new fave brewery. We bought our dinner at Telaquepaque and brought it into the brewery to sit and enjoy a seltzer with dinner. Overall a very cool place, with a delightful ambience. They host a charcuterie class there almost monthly with themes to match the season. You have to register ahead of time. Sounds fun! Thank you Hiedi for investing in our little town. We'll be sure to recommend your place.

This place is chill and awesome beer

It's a gigantic place with plenty of seating, and a LOT of theme-ing! Park up and stroll over into their main area to really get a lay of the land. There's some seating inside and outside, depending on how you're feeling! We opted to grab a pitcher of somethin' light and got straight to getting the grub! Now they've got some really fun stuff going on here. There's this family of food trucks that lives in the lot, and they're serving up some scrumptious snacks...well not even just snacks. They're serving up whole meals from these trucks. In fact, one reddit user says that this might be some of the best pizza in all of Orange County! So, to get going, we ordered a double smash burger, the duck fat poutine, the JP Aloha pizza, and a caesar. Y'all, they have far more options for you to try too, but these are all we could muster with the 3 stomachs we had. Yeah, that's right, shoutout to Jess for joining us this time! You've got an ooey gooey burger with some special sauce, pickles, and some beefy patties! MMm, it's great! And it comes in this cute sleeve! Check out the salad too, it's super well-dressed, crispy, and those fried capers really give it a briny pop! The fries ain't no slouch either! Duck fat's delicious, and bacon, cheese, and gravy? I mean come on! But we gotta address the pizza in the room. This thing is thin crust, cheesy, umami, spicy, and all the ee's to describe something delicious. You GOTTA get some hot honey and ranch to enjoy it with, because you KNOW it's gonna improve your experience. Sometimes the reddit hivemind really does know what's up! Of course, y'all, if you're looking for a place to have a night out next, why not head over to Brewery X?

I tried the Dark Rituals, a fusion of rye stout and barley wine, that I may never forget. It's delicious. The beertender took great care of us, and we had a wonderful time there. I was so impressed by Dark Rituals that I can't even tell you which IPA my husband tried, other that to tell you that he thought it was great. The place itself is way cool, with decor that celebrates the brewery's dedication to science. The beertender gave us a lot of background regarding the beers and the company. All in all, a great place, and beer aficionados should check it out.

The selection is solid and the quality is consistently high -- I highly recommend the beers themselves. That said, I can't give 5 stars after a recent visit. I ordered an $8 beer, opened a tab, and then had to leave unexpectedly right after (didn't even get to drink it). I assumed any unclosed tab would default to a standard 20% tip. Instead, I was charged $14.16 total , which works out to roughly a 68% tip on the beer. I understand that open tabs are annoying for the staff, and things happen. But when you don't have a working phone or aren't given the chance to close out, a nearly 70% automatic charge feels excessive. A clearer policy or lower default gratuity on abandoned tabs would go a long way. Plenty of great beer options in SoCal, so this definitely stings. Hoping they reconsider the approach.

The last few times we have gone they have been out of a lot of our favorite beers, knowing that baseball season is back they should make sure that they have plenty in stock before the weekend starts. Lastly is the time, I totally understand the need for a "hard close" however when you allow people to order at 10:30 and the food takes 10/15 min to arrive that only allows for 15 min or less to eat your food.
