I love the Greek Streak! The food is always really good. I love that there is a place that still makes most of their menu items fresh each day vs ordering frozen crap that they heat up. On our way through town, we stopped for some Greek food to eat in our car. We were pleasantly surprised by the low prices & each ordered a gyro sandwich (no tomatoes=yucky), plus share a generous order of fries. Total=$21. The lamb was perfect, the pita soft & yummy! So we were on our way out of Moab and was looking for something different and that we hadn't eaten in a while when we found this place. It doesn't look appealing from the outside and we actually passed it without knowing. The staff was friendly and the food was okay. We all had Gyro's and all enjoyed them. Still legit after all these years! Hadn't been in here in over 25 years! Stopped by on a random trip through Price and stopped here for old time's sake. The place was only open for curbside take out due to COVID-19 and we had to find a menu online, but they had our food ready in about 15 minutes. Still tastes amazing after all these years! The only thing holding me back from a five star review is that they forgot my lentil soup and we didn't realize it until we had already left. I stopped by today was greeted as soon as i walked in. The service was excellent greeted with a friendly smile as soon as i walked in. Was served a gyro made to perfection. Very friendly and great staff. Definitely an atmosphere where I felt welcome in. A place to bring your family, a date, or come by yourself. Was asked how everything was during my meal and again greeted with a smile. Also started to type this review after I finished my meal. Horrible customer service. Put me on hold for so long I actually drove down WHILE STILL ON THE PHONE and it was at 33 minutes of listening to them talk about baby blankets, double tipping someone who only tipped $0.40, whicker chairs, concrete tables, "did you get my pic on facebook?" etc. When I showed up I showed the owner am still on hold and she hung up the phone on her counter. She blamed her worker and the worker said she was told by the owner to place me on hold. Owner said she was busy and that was her daughter talking that I heard and didn't even work there. I was appalled not even an apology. An apology or acknowledgement of the bad customer service would have been great. I was given excuses and she just continued working and didn't even offer to place an order. I cursed and she kicked me out of the store. I am Greek and this place has been here many years. HORRIBLE DISCRACE to us local Greeks! Also note... I am from here. I know good Greek and their food is just "okay" but not like my Yia Yia made. It's a good frozen substitute.. basically, "the best you can get out here, and that ain't necessarily good.. but good enough if you have a craving." They have left me on hold before until I hung up and gave up but I let it slide since all Greeks are family. They are not a family I respect anymore and have been so rude to me several times and I've watched them disrespect unhappy customers on several occasions. Avoid this place. They don't deserve to represent Greeks here. OH please note... they order most of their stuff frozen and will skimp you on simple things such as salad, sauce, dolmades, pita, ALWAYS out of items... and their reason? They have to wait for the order to come in. Hmmm... not homemade obviously. So unless you make it your self you have to settle for store bought from them. They don't make anything homemade. Literally, watch them scoop sauce out of bucket. Secret is out! The way they treated me was enough to make me post a review. I don't even post things like this usually. I'm so disgusted by them I just had to let others know to just bypass this place. You will be disappointed. Absolutely outstanding! I travel all over the country and try to eat that small local family owned restaurant as much as I can. Definitely a must stop place. The food was fabulous and page my waitress was outstanding. Friendly people good food. I ordered the Slovakia plate, and a side Of euro meat. The plate came with the salad rice and I ordered a side of spaghetti. The salad was fresh lettuce just the way I like it, the euro meat was so yummy I wish I had gotten more. The Slovakia was perfect on the rice was very tasty as well. I have nothing bad to say about this and I'm a picky somebitch. Good job Greek streak! read more

This is a delicious stop for Greek food. I love almost everything there. My favorite is the Greek chicken salad or the gyros

I'll start with the good: I got the Gyro Plate which included a side (rice, spaghetti) and soup or salad. I thought that spaghetti seemed like an odd side dish option for a Greek restaurant but I assumed (incorrectly) that this must mean it is a quirky local favorite and probably really good. The Gyro was really good. Lots of meat, the pita was good, and the Tzatziki sauce was a generous amount and really tasty. The lentil soup was also good. The bad: The spaghetti noodles were overcooked and mushy' probably at least a day old or longer. The sauce was gross. Flavorless can of tomato sauce. Worse than a can of Chef Boyardee. No quirky local favorite here. The service was Ok. Sure they aren't the most friendly bunch (kind of the Price vibe in general) but they weren't rude either. I was the only one is the restaurant at noon and walking in felt like I was entering uninvited to a stranger's house. Really bizarre atmosphere. Gordon Ramsey would completely lose it. Overall: Stick with the Greek food basics and you will be fine. There are very few decent places to eat in Price and this is a step up from Subway or McDonalds. (BTW the Subway in Price is disgusting. Do not eat there.) read more

Picture this: I am on my way from South Lake Tahoe, CA to Moab, Utah (which someone at Salt Lake City described as "the place where the heathens live.") We have been traveling since 10 am and we are now driving from Salt Lake City to Moab, Utah, which is a four hour drive. The next day I am running a half marathon. I am tired. I am hungry. I do not eat fast food. I am elated to see a sign for a pasta restaurant in a rural town in the middle of NOWHERE, Utah. We head off the highway to seek it out. It is, in fact, closed. I begin to cry. Corey doesn't understand why I am crying. I am tired. I don't want to drive anymore. "I just wanted spaghetti. *sob*" We end up at a lovely little "Greek" restaurant called "The Greek Streak." We both order the gyro combos for $12.99. They come with a gyro, a side of pita, some dolomites and a salad. I request a "Greek" salad with mine. Then the waitress, who happens to be the only waitress for the 8 tables and 19 people in the room, looks at me and said "Oh, we're out of pita." "You're out of pita? Aren't you a Greek restaurant? How can you be out of pita?" "Oh, well, we have pita for the gyros, just not for the side of pita." "Right. Okay." Our salads come out. Corey's is lettuce with one tiny slice of tomato. Mine is lettuce with TWO tiny slices of tomato, 3 cucumbers, one pepperocini, and some feta. When we go to pay later on, I will be charged $4 extra for requesting the greek salad. Apparently pepperocini's are in high demand in Price, UT. They must be hard to ship in. The gyros were good, IF we had bought them at a $2 stand on the corner of a NYC street. I feel better though because there is food in my stomach and we continue on. read more

I have a love/hate relationship with the Greek Streak. One one hand, their chicken sandwich is AMAZING, as are the dolmades and the cheese pita (if they have it). On the other hand, the service is almost always poor. In some cases, it is terrible. I don't know if she works there anymore, but there was one waitress who it seemed was always the only one working, and she had a horrible attitude. She was the most impolite and nonchalant waitress I've ever encountered. It was like she was miserable to be there, and she made you feel like a burden to assist. Also, it is very rare that I've gone to the Greek Streak and gotten everything that I ordered. They are almost always out of cheese pita, which is sad because they are delicious. Why even list it on the menu if you don't have it half of the time? While the service is quite bad, it is the only Greek restaurant in town, and most of the time I just wanted Greek food so bad that I just put up with it to have that amazing chicken sandwich. read more

Decent, completely acceptable Greek food. The lemon rice soup was not worth more than one bite. The gyros, on the other hand, are totally fine and I'd get them again. The sauce was a little lacking, I could have used twice as much, but was tasty enough. It won't knock your socks off, but it's better then most other local options. But, I originally thought they were just busy. Nope, just lazy. 30% of the meals have dolmades. How can they be out? More importantly why wait until I'm done w my salad to say anything? I'm very surprised to see that some people gave this place 4 and 5 stars; they must be relatives. We had driven 700 miles today and were tired and hungry and wanted something other than burgers. We were excited to find Greek food in this town and eagerly anticipated hummus and spanakopita, but neither were available. The young waitress had no idea what hummus was and said that spanakopita was no longer being offered. (Though it was on the menu) The decor was old, cheap, and drab and should have been our first clue. There were boxes of pita bread stacked in the middle of the floor, so they weren't freshly made and we had to walk around them. One of our group ordered halibut and chips which was not what he had hoped to order, but they didn't have mizithra pasta either, which is what he always gets at Greek restaurants. The fish and chips were heat-and-serve and they were out of tarter sauce. It may have actually been cod. He had to ask for ketchup and only ate about 1/2 of his meal because he said it was really lousy. I ordered a veggie sandwich which was a piece of pita with iceberg lettuce, two half slices of tomato, two slices of cucumber, and 3 kalamata olives. Blah. Went here because there was not much around. The food was tolerable - the best part were the fries. We asked for our cokes to go but the waitress forgot so when we asked her again the lady who checked us out said we needed to pay for them ( after we'd already received them) since she'd forgotten to charge us. I try to eat at the Greek Streak when passing through Price...have loved the food for years. My traveling partner and I had the grilled Feta, Gyro plate combo and Souvlaki sandwich. Everything was absolutely delicious! Service was good. Decor and ambience not great, but that's not why I eat at restaurants. I've noticed they have made some small improvements since I last visited. This was my best guess for vegan in town. The lentil soup was delicious and the vegetarian burger (no cheese or mayo) was good, but a rather small patty. I should have remembered to ask for no butter added to the toasted bun. No hummus or falafel unfortunately. With a little work this could easy be vegan friendly and a good stop from Salt Lake to Moab. read more
