We showed up late, about 8:30 PM when they close at 9 PM. They couldn't have been nicer. We didn't feel like we were rushing anyone although we did our best to get out of there by about 9:30 PM. The food came out hot and delicious and a fantastic value! Instead of a taco salad, I chose to order three tostadas to get a little variety and others at our table, really enjoyed their food as well. About the only place I eat out, it's simple but always delicious. It might not be the most "authentic" because I think they cater to the palate of the area but I find my self craving Los Dos often! Staff is always welcoming, kind and quick. They keep thing clean and the only down fall I've ever noticed is that some people would prefer a beer with their meal but I do know Utah is very tricky and controlling with their licensing so this might not even be a possibility for this restaurant. Ate there last night and it was bad. I got the #11 combo plate and everything had issues. I've eaten here before and I could see the writing on the wall at that time,so I gave it a year and this is the results...Beans were dried out and no taste, rice had no taste, Beef enchilada was the only thing that was so-so, burrito was cold on the top and scalding on the bottom and the cheese was still cold, taco was the same. They cook everything with a very hot plate instead of using an oven. Waitress looked like a refugee from a Meth encampment with face piercings and tats. Very large space with casual booths like a diner! Service was friendly and food came quickly. The free chips and salsa were refreshing and a great appetizer. Got the chicken burrito covered in cheese and it was a very big portion! The rice and beans were solid and felt very full at the end. Not a bad price for how much you get. read more

It's was late (the restaurant was still pretty full) - we had a party of 7 and walked in around 8:30 (just 30 minutes before they were going to close) we were warmly greeted and were seated promptly to a table already with chips & salsa along with place mats/silverware. The service was prompt and the server kindly answered our questions about menu items. Then like clock work - the food arrived warm and good portions. I had the Chicken Chimichanga that came smothered in chile verde and cheese a healthy portion of guac, salad along side rice and beans. Everything was hot and delicious! We loved our dinner and really wish we'd been able to arrive earlier. We also enjoyed 2 hotter salsa's - both amazing! This was a fantastic dinner after a long day of riding San Rafael Swell. Not good at all. The only thing homemade might be the flour tortillas because they're super big and thick. The salsa taste like a jar the chips taste like they're from a bag. If you're from California where there's many options, this will not be for you. Better off going to Taco Bell. We understand this is a small taqueria in Utah in the middle of nowhere but really limited out here. The burrito isn't even wrapped like a real burrito. It's a taco tortilla wrapped. You get meat and cheese... extra charge to ADD ONE bean or rice only to it... because their tortillas are taco size.... Doesn't come with cilantro or onions... and I asked if we get salsa for our tacos burritos and quesadilla... they gave us CHIP SALSA! Not verde or rojo salsa... I ordered a bean and cheese with rice added ($2.85 + tax) sour cream on side ($1.20 + tax) should be $.25.... Instead... small small amount... and I ordered a shredded beef quesadilla(Monterey Jack cheese ) .... Literally a folded in half taco.... You should've used two tortillas to be more quesadilla... one thing I can say is the meat is nicely seasoned not as well seasoned but it's seasoned to have taste. The customer service: they tried to over charge us for certain things... so please be careful and check the pricing with the receipt... the horchata was good. read more

This might be the most disgraceful, god awful, filthy, disgusting Mexican food I've ever eaten. The chips are obviously from a bag, and the salsa is straight out of a jar. I ordered a shredded beef burrito, smothered. The smothered chile was slimy and tasteless. The beef was horrible. Somehow, they even messed up the tortilla as it was thick and chewy. I'm honestly surprised someone could fuck up mexican food this badly. I could cook a better meal with my eyes closed. The chicken enchiladas were bland & smothered with canned salsa & cheddar cheese. The beef tacos were bland as well with cold flour tortillas & bland old shredded meat. This is probably the best Mexican in Price UT the half-way point between Slate Lake City and Moab. I would consider this to be a Tex-Mex restaurant. The dish I had chicken enchiladas came on a really hot plate just out from under the broiler. The dish had way too much cheese I guess the hallmark of Tex-Mex. The food was great!! We got recommended to come here and was a great choice. We ordered the combination plates and they were served hot and large portion. I ordered the mixed fajita plate that served with three warm tortilla wrapped in paper towels, separate plate for rice beans veggies and guacamole, then the main plate sizzling with both steak and chicken and green peppers / onions. I only wish the meats were cut in strips or larger portions, instead it was served mixed in with the onions so I had to search for the meat. They were cut into chunks but it was still delicious. This was some of the worst food I have had. Please please please do yourself a favor and go to Walmart instead. You can pick up some tortillas and bagged cheese throw it together and it will taste better than this place. It's hard to microwave burritos. I get it. If you smother it with enough hot sauce your tongue won't be able to pick up on the awful quality of food. The chips were definitely store bought. I am going to stick up for these guys... 1) if you don't like mounds of cheese on your Mexican food. Then ask for no cheese. Or don't go to a Mexican joint. 2) I thought that, for the most part, their food had plenty of flavor. The salsa was some of the most flavorful and delicious I've had. I am only giving them 3 stars, since compared to non-small town restaurants, sure it's probably a 3 star... But given it's a small town and considering the alternatives, I'd give it 4-4.5 for the town. I'd make a point of stopping back here on my way to or from Moab. Hey guys how are you just wanted to tell you that this place is really good. If you like cheese this is the place to go. Got a plate of green burrito chile relleno and chicken enchilada none of which stating there would be cheese. But i was pleasantly surprised when my plate came and the entire top layer was covered in cheddar. So lucky! I really love cheese so this was a real nice added perk to the most perfectly bland meal i've ever had. I scooped jt all to the side to save for later and wow was I in for a treat when a fist sized glob of cheese remained at the end of my meal.
