The Filling Station is known around Helper as the hot dog place and boasts a fun patio dining area to enjoy not only hot dogs, but ice cream as well.
If you're out walking down the main street of the old town, you might want for a snack to refuel yourself before continuing the trek down the rest of the road. This is a good midway point to do just that. The menu is not massive, the offerings are few, but it's charming and well done.
