A great find in Price Utah. Stayed overnight at the Lagacy Inn (which was a great nights sleep) and came here for Sunday breakfast. We were greeted when we walked in by Jordan. He brought us coffee right away and refilled numerous times (didn't even have to ask). I asked him a couple questions and he said their green chili sauce was amazing. I ordered the omelet with it. OMG I ate the whole thing! My BF ordered the traditional breakfast. His sausage patty was the width of his plate and has so much flavor. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfect, not dry. He also had the biscuits and gravy. Their gravy was exceptionally tasty. So much flavor. You can tell everything here is homemade and made with love. This is a historic spot and felt comfy. The locals come here as well. I highly recommend and would come and stay in Price again. read more

I came to price visiting family and we went here for dinner one night and it was so fantastic. I had their Spinach Berry Salad and I loved it so much I went back the next morning to have another one! The people who were serving us were so kind and made sure that our food came in a timely manner as well. The restaurant was also very welcoming and had fall decorations up. We just had the most amazing experience at Farlainos cafe!! Stopped for breakfast on our way to Capitol Reef. Our waitress (I think her name is Sherry) asked us where we were headed on our trip my daughter mentioned that she had a goal to see all of the National Parks in the US and we were planning to see 3 this week. Sherry gave us a suggestion to see Goblins state park on our way to Capitol Reef. Then she did the most amazing thing. she brought my daughter ( who collects rocks) a cup full of beautiful rocks she had collected in the desert neat Price Utah. This was so touching to all of us. She definitely went above and beyond to make this trip extra special for us. Highly recommend this place for good home cooking and excellent service read more

Amazing!!!! We came to Price to visit the Dinosaur Museum and decided to try this! So glad we did! The Bacon and Fresh fries to die for! They were all out of ice cream and the owner ran to the store to make sure we had it! Wish we lived closer, made our two hour drive worth it! Thank you! read more

We came in.. got waited on... food took about 40 minutes me the only reason they took the food to our table was because my son got up and said out loud our food is just sitting there... the Alfredo was good but my husband got the chicken Marsala and it was slimmier than slime.. we told the waitress but we still got charged for it...she said that's how it came but I've had chicken Marsala many times and it had never been so gross... It's been several years since I last had a chance to visit Fairlainos in Price, but I still remember that lasagna like it was yesterday. Easily the best I've ever tasted. Rich, cheesy, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely worth the wait. I was tempted to give it four stars because it took quite a while to get served, but food this good deserves patience. I've been here before and it was great. So when I was in Price I stopped in for another great meal. Wrong. First, the server pronounced it Eye-talian. Next the homemade dressings were watery and flavorless. The entrees were gross. We had chicken parm, bbq chicken (2 chicken tenders swimming in bbq sauce in a bun), spaghetti and 2 grey, squishy meatballs. We happened to be passing through town on the way to Moab. We ordered the special which was chicken fried steaks. It was really good. What we didn't know is that the soup and salad would arrive very quickly and the main course would take the greater part of an hour. I guess there is one cook and everything is homemade. I came in on a Saturday. Half tables were empty. Ordered a burger and fries. After 30 minutes asked how long. They said another 30 plus minutes. I settled tab and left. If you have customers waiting more than 30 min for food you should warn before seating. Kinda pissed. read more

Stopped in on our way to Salt Lake City from Moab and found a pleasant restaurant , helpful server and delicious food. The soup was from scratch. Good prices and good service. Would definitely stop in again. They have a little history of the place at each table and offer old newspapers as you wait for your meal. read more

Came on a Saturday after checking the restaurant hours online; they had put a paper sign on the door saying they had closed at 3:00pm unexpectedly - just 15 minutes before I had arrived. Feel free to take the risk but considering this is a small town it might be wise to call instead of trusting the online business hours. read more

This place was a pleasant surprise to find. First off, you will have to wait for your food. Why? Because one amazing cook is preparing your delicious meal and it's worth the wait. Make sure to have the green chili on top of something, because it's amazing!!!!! Also, the pork sausage is HUGE. Where to eat when passing through Price? Yes, a plethora of fast food options scream at you from the business loop. You could pop in to any one of many standard burger chains, sandwich shops, or other common roadside locales. And there's a time and a place for that kind of convenience, but feeling a little sassy and very yelpy, I decided to go looking for a more unique lunch spot. Thanks to the app I found this place listed down on the old portion of Main Street. We popped in to find a few of the good old boys bellied up to the diner bar and a menu full of diner dishes with a decidedly Italian slant to them. They also advertised on their menu that this is "where the locals eat!" As this was a late lunch (post 1pm) we settled on an Italian sausage sandwich that was composed of a homemade bun and their own blended Italian sausage. We opted for the taco soup and it came with curly fries. The bun was the shining star. It was the perfect host for the sandwich and it held up nicely. Second place goes to the pickles on the sandwich. Crisp, deli-style pickles that gave just enough sour punch. The home recipe sausage was good, but I wished it had a little more spice to it. Not the picante kind of spice (it actually did give a little burn) but it was a subtle sausage. Still tasty. The curly fries was exactly that--fries that were curly. They weren't totally crispy, but I'm actually a fan of the just-a-hint-of-sogginess fries so I ate em up. The decor is pretty simple. It's a small town diner, but I got a kick out of the old newspapers that were under that glass at each table. The old time ads for Dr. so-and-so's cure all tonic and news of who had just returned from Kansas City to sell their herds was a great touch and made for a good read while we waited (not long) for our food to arrive. Farlaino's is only open for breakfast and lunch, but makes for a unique stop when passing through. And if you're a local, this is where you have to eat. So glad we found our way here on our drive from Moab to Salt Lake City. We had a craving for a root beer float, and after stopping by 3 different places and failing to obtain one, Yelp directed us here. The Root Beer Float was delicious, Philly Cheese Steak made with live and care with sweet sauteed onions and peppers, perfectly melted cheese, and toasted bread. For some reason a younger waitress felt it was a priority to wipe down empty clean tables and never once approached us or made an effort. True local fare and atmosphere. Right in the middle of town, the place is bustling with locals. All of the food we had was fresh and homemade, all tasty. Seriously good comfort food. We had burgers (which come with a mountain of homemade curly fries), sausage sandwich with a homemade bun, chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. We stuffed our selves, left happy, the bill was $42. Plus the service was great, everyone was so friendly. My son has tons of food allergies and they were very accommodating.
