We are local so don't stay here often but when we do the kids have a blast. I just wish they had better or more daytime activities for them. When they say "crafts" it's usually a coloring sheet which is lame. We prefer coming during October for the Halloween events since it seems more lively than other times of the year with trick or treating and kids dressing up. The dance party is fun with dance music. I will say the biggest con is how congested the main floor elevator area is particularly by the elevators! People waiting for elevators, with tons of people with luggage, and activities going on it is so packed! It's so dumb! I didn't experience this at their Maryland location. Beds were fine for us. Can't speak to service since we didn't eat here. Buffet line for breakfast gets very long. book the stay and have fun at the huge waterpark. Enjoy!

SMH. I shake my head because we should have seen the reviews prior. That's my bad. Where to start. The place is huge. Indoor waterpark is cool. LOTS of people. However they have attractions that are closed due to staffing, not season, so it makes everything more time consuming. There is really nothing healthy to eat here. Hell, they don't even have a gym or fitness area for those that want to workout. The beds are atrocious. OUR lower backs were killing us after waking up. The hot tub in the main indoor pool area helped with that. Thanks? Maybe. Our room AC was terrible. Called that in and had it fixed. The shower and water pressure are terrible. The bathroom is outdated. Now. Let's talk about the name of the place. It's called great wolf lodge. They should rename it to GREAT WOLF SPIDER LODGE!!! We killed 4 wolf spiders in our room. Photos included. The 4th we didn't photo. It was a shit show to say the least. Never, ever in my life, will you find us here again. I promise you that.

2026 Yelp 100 Challenge - #3 Visited New Years Eve and I was surprised at how busy it was. There is loading and unloading lanes in the front, but you are unable to leave cars unattended. Parking was $19 per day just to park in the lot. Waterpark is open from 10 am - 8pm Magic Quest is open til 11pm With several other fun options located on the first floor. Downloading their app allows you to get updates on upcoming events but not much else. Communication was provided via text and there are attendants on each floor willing to answer any question you may have. Our room was clean and there were plenty of towels available. The waterpark was fun with a spacious kids area and a giant dump bucket. Lastly the restaurant on the 3rd floor had delicious food and friendly service. My family and I had a great visit and look forward to returning soon.

We came to Great Wolf Lodge on a whim as we were sitting around, wondering what to do after the holidays. We scored a good deal on a room and purchased the pup pass before arriving. Parking was easy found a spot pretty quickly and our room was ready when we got there. We did have to wait in the long check in line because your account with Great Wolf Lodge has to match the credit card holder's name otherwise you can just use one of the kiosks. They have activities that are free in the lobby such as story time, dance parties as well as bingo. The main thing that we spent our day doing was having fun in the waterpark. We went downstairs in the food court area to grab a bite to eat. You can conveniently order in their app so that way your order is in and minimizes the wait. There are a lot of people down there wanting to eat! Magiquest is fun so bring your wands and if you don't have one that are available for purchase. Room was cozy and comfortable. Yes this place gets busy but it is part of the fun! We would definitely come back for another family getaway!

I thoroughly enjoyed this family trip to GWL! We had never been before, and just wanted to play at the waterpark. But since they were running a special room price, we decided to stay a night in the Wolf Den Suite! Checking into the Lodge was super easy, just scan the QR code from your email and your wristbands get printed out! The wristbands are your key to your room and can be used to pay for most everything if you chose to have a card added to a designated wristband. We bought the breakfast package beforehand and no other special packages because I knew my kids would just want to spend their time in the water this time around. However, I told them if we want to add the MagiQuest wands next time we could, it looked like a lot of fun. But honestly, I think they would be perfectly fine just splashing and sliding. I definitely recommend Great Wolf Lodge :)

Ok so this place was amazing!! From the staff to the all the water slides, arcades and y'all there's an ice cream shop inside!! Say less!! We went with friends and I would gladly do it again. There's everything you need for the entire family and deals are always happening for an overnight stay! Can it be expensive yes, is it worth it also yes! Can't say that about everything!! Go have some family fun!!

We come here yearly for my birthday and it's always the best! The waterpark is fire and has a ton of good slides. There is a good kids area too at the water park. We get the wolf pass which is a super good value for things to do. You can do the ropes course, which has many floors of obstacles to traverse and zip lines to zip across. You can get a free cup of candy of your selection. You can get a free ice cream. You get a round of laser tag and bowling. You can go mining for gold and gems. And you get an arcade pass. All the things I listed is on the wolf pass. The only down side is for the arcade you only get like $5 on the game card which is like 3 games but luckily my family is pro at space invaders so we cooked! Also with the wolf pass you get a wand and a game for magi quest. Magi quest is an immersive wand game where you hunt around the resort searching for stations to fight bosses and collect items. This is one of my favorite things to do here. If you have not been here yet I totally recommend going especially if you have kids!

19 and 9 year olds still having a blast at the yearly visit!

I've been coming here since my now 23 year-old was just 10. It's always been a fun, family-friendly place and I was excited to see the recent renovations. They were definitely needed and it looks great! That said, I have to share a serious concern about our current stay. The sixth floor, where we're staying, has been overwhelmed with the smell of marijuana. If this were an adults only resort, that might be one thing, but this is a family establishment, and it's completely unacceptable. We don't live that lifestyle, and we certainly don't expose our children to it, our youngest is 10 years old. I first reported the issue at 6:05 PM, and I was told it would be addressed. When we returned around 10:30 PM, the same strong odor filled the hallway in the exact same area. I followed up again and spoke to the manager, Kiki, who sent security (Anthony) to speak with me. He was very polite and explained that it's difficult to pinpoint the source, he assured me they were looking into it. Unfortunately, if this continues tomorrow, I'll have no choice but to move my family across the street to the Gaylord, we are Titanium Marriott members so it would be easy. I've genuinely loved this family resort and we come here every summer but this might be our final visit. We can't and won't tolerate an environment like this for our children. What's frustrating is that we've visited other locations, California (I believe it's legal there), the Poconos, and Sandusky and those resorts have a clear, well-enforced zero-tolerance policy. The moment they suspect anything inappropriate, they fix it. This should be a safe, clean, and welcoming place for families. When the hallways reek of marijuana, it completely undermines the experience and makes it hard to enjoy our time here. On a positive note, I want to commend the outstanding customer service we received from Carter C. and our wonderful waitress Jayne at Firegrill. They were both fantastic and deserve recognition. But honestly customer service has never ever been an issue at this location (Don't ask me about Webster location customer service because that one sucks lol)

Our stay was pleasant The kids love the water park and magiquest. But it's absolutely a one and done thing. They rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable and very spacious.

Our family just had our second visit to Great Wolf Lodge, and it was just as much fun as the first time around! We love this resort for a quick getaway, especially during these hot summer months when an indoor water park is a real treat. Hard to believe but it really does get to hot outside in Texas to swim! The kids, of course, were absolutely thrilled with the water park & our room was comfortable for the family, providing a good base for our stay. The convenience of having multiple dining options on-site meant we rarely had to leave the resort, which is a huge plus when you're trying to maximize your fun time.

Ask the Community - Great Wolf Lodge

Are the cabanas worth it? We are going during the week before schools are out for summer so hoping it will be quieter.

No, just get there early when they open and take some towels to put on the chairs to hold your spot.

How is the food in the restaurants at the resort?

There used to be multiple restaurants, but the only one open now is the buffet which has a great food selection, albeit pretty pricey. We did Uber Eats one night, but be advised they do not allow delivery services in the hotel, so you'll need to…

Is there a fireworks show here at the lodge for the 4th of July?

I don't know

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed

Can they make pool little more sanitary?

The pool was extremely clean in my eyesight

So, when staying at a hotel in Texas, AC is a must. How's the air conditioning throughout the hotel? Is it too hot in the summer? Thanks in advance.

We also had air issues in our 1st floor room. Thermostat was set at 62-64 and we were hot around 2 or 3 AM - almost like they were cycling the air for conservation - I felt like we weren't really in control of it. We stayed 3 nights and slept…

I will be first time guest, I am concerned about the bed bug issues. Has this problem been addressed?

All of our lodges work with local pest control services to be sure they are up-to-date on the latest prevention methods. They also take all reports very seriously and bring in outside services to test the room and treat if necessary. If you have any…

Matthew greeted us with friendly smiles and walked us to our cabana. They had a nice welcome sign for us, which was so sweet. The cabana featured a safe, a small refrigerator with bottles of water, a TV and ample seating for our family of 9. Our server Logan was incredible. One of the best service experience I've ever had at a water park. Everything we ordered was delivered with care and kindness. I do wish there were more tables in the cabana though. The water park itself was really great. The kids had a blast on the zip line, lazy river, slides, and play area. Note: Towels are available.

We specifically planned our day around visiting the water park and arrived around 1 PM expecting to stay until closing. Unfortunately, the park was closed around 4 PM due to approaching weather. While I completely understand that safety comes first, what disappointed me was how ResortPass handled the situation afterward. Despite the fact that we lost most of the experience we paid for and had no opportunity to return because my family had already left the country, ResortPass only offered a 50% refund. They based their calculation on the park's total operating hours rather than the actual circumstances of our visit. Parking costs were not addressed, and the fact that future tickets would be useless to us seemed to be ignored. After further discussions, the only additional compensation offered was a 20% discount on a future ResortPass booking, which provides little value considering the situation. Customer service was polite, but the final resolution felt disappointing and did not reflect the unique circumstances of our visit. I expected a company that values customer experience to handle this situation more fairly. Would not book through ResortPass / Paradise Springs again based on how this issue was resolved.

Went around 3pm on a Thursday and getting in to park was the easiest part of the day. We walked in and tried to scan our cards and the girl tells me one of my cards is just for parking and the other card is invalid. She continues to look at me until I finally asked "do I need to go to guest services?" And she mumbled a yes. Get to guest services and you can see plenty of people inside but only one window is being utilized. An employee finally comes to the window and I explain what happened in line, he goes above and beyond trying to help me get the situation resolved. He takes a picture of what he has just in case and thankfully he did as when I went back into line, the card on the app still didn't work. This girl looked confused but she called someone over to help her and we got it resolved. I was surprised to find a chair but if I tell you the chairs are sitting on top of each other so be prepared to get to know your neighbor. So apparently we haven't come in a while as when I got into the lazy river I was looking for tubes only to find out you have to rent them! $15 for a single tube and you can't bring your own.
