This place is simply amazing. The water park area has something for all ages and skill levels. There are life jackets for those that want or need them and those along with towels are free to use. They have a variety of food options right in the water park area, and the prices are actually very reasonable. Not your typical up charged food stands. The hotel rooms are extremely clean and spacious. The bathrooms seem to be a bit small, but you are coming there for a plush bathroom right? The mattresses were terrible. But that is not a deal breaker for me. There are a ton of extra activities to do there, from magic quest to the gift shops and arcade to name just a few. This was our first time going and I assure you it will not be the last. I feel for the first time it gave us a chance to see what we liked and disliked. We plan of going back on a day pass here soon once the kids get out of school and maybe another overnight later this year. Our experience at Wolf Lodge was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, there was hair in the bathtub, which was honestly disgusting and made the room feel unclean right away. My son also could not sleep in the bunk bed because there was a huge screw loose in the sheets area, and the bed did not look safe or sturdy at all. That was very concerning. On top of that, the neighbors were incredibly loud until 1:35 in the morning, so none of us could get proper sleep. The biggest issue was with the water park wristbands. I booked a room that sleeps 6 even though we are a family of 5 because my son wanted to invite a friend for his birthday. Staff repeatedly refused to give us the 6th wristband, and I had to go through 3 different employees before someone finally helped us. By then, it was already too late because we had already told my son's friend not to come. Unfortunately, this completely ruined my son's birthday experience. For the amount of money we spent, I expected a clean room, safe accommodations, and much better customer service. read more

So Great Wolf Lodge is a very fun time, but man they charge you for it. Everything has extra taxes and fees. Whatever price you're paying for the room there will be a $40 resort fee added per day, as well as sales tax. Wand topper is an upgrade, their kid games when you break down the "paw points" are like five dollars a game, the virtual reality game was nine dollars! Whatever you start with for the base price, triple it, and that's probably what you'll end up paying. The upside is it's very cute and original and the kids love the indoor waterpark. They make it very convenient for you to eat right by the pool with their restaurant. The renovations are nice. The rooms look good. Magiquest is very fun and the kids loved it. Sarah at hungry like a wolf was extremely sweet and helpful. Oliver the Raccoon was so cute and gave the girls big hugs and high-fives. The food wasn't great. The Hotdog on a Stick corndogs were so icky my kids wouldn't eat them, and it's really hard to mess up a corn dog. The Fireside Grill has adorable decor with tents and lights, but the food wasn't very good at all. And very expensive. The nachos were made with Velveeta! At the end of the meal, he didn't mention that gratuity was included and so I almost added another $40 on top of a $35 tip. I'm honestly super disappointed. There's no lazy river, the arcade is EXPENSIVE, the food is mediocre, and I was sneezing like crazy in this place! This is our second time going here. The first time, the novelty made it exciting but we didn't really try many of the amneties. We just went to the water park. This time we tried a lot more things and that arcade is such a disappointment!! The games are FUN! They pretty much set up the machines to let you win a bunch. BUT the prizes are not WORTH THE MONEY. I would recommend scoping out the prize shop first before blowing your wallet on this place. Make sure you see something that you want. I was sneezing and snotting like crazy in our hotel room and the conference room. I wouldn't be surprised if it was mold to be honest. But I'm not alleging anything. They have updated MagiQuest to the new game called Evergreen/MagiQuest+. It's the same 10 mile walk/scavenger hunt through the hotel 1st through 4th floor. It used to be all the way up to the 5th floor. They have taken everything away to the 1st floor that used to be in the 5th. Instead of figuring out what to do and where to go they now TELL you where (what floor or area) to find the items you need on the maps in the kiosks. All of the other conquests/ MagiQuest Legacy are gone....come to terms with it now. The entire hotel has been renovated. Its still fun though. They double charged us for parking and refused to remove the double charge without having to spend a ton of my time dealing with the ACE parking company. We had day passes and paid for parking as we left the lot each day. Then they charged $25 for overnight parking even though we didn't stay overnight. After 3 attempts with customer service they would not refund the $25 and sent me down another path to get refunded from ACE. Horrible customer service! read more

The place is cute, some of the staff (the younger ones) are energetic & helpful, and the water park is great! Thankful they have a Starbucks here because the room coffee sucks big time. Lots of free activities like crafts and story time. Dance party is the best. IMO, water park closes too early. I think it's to upsell the other activities but they're way too overpriced. Wand that doesn't light up, $20. You end up paying $15 more for a light up and ON TOP OF THAT, about $20 to play the story wand game. Depending on how many kids you have, you do the math. Wish they had activities for the adults. This is why I love Disney: they have something for everyone. Not here though, it's for the kids. We did the buffet last night. Nothing memorable and the dessert was not quality AT ALL. Don't forget to ask for your military discount except at the bar. I did the mistake of asking an elder bartender lady for one and she went on a rant how she was going to email corporate how no one should be offering a discount for alcohol. I told her I was just asking if they offered one, but it's OK if they didn't. She kept talking about emailing corporate because that's against the law but I told her that I've gotten it in apparel and food and wasn't sure about alcohol, so it was simply a question but she states stuck on her tangent the entire time making the drink. Also, unless you want to stay sipping on a margarita, don't buy the souvenir cup. I made the mistake of buying one so we can get the discount they advertise, but turns out it's only on margaritas, nothing else. Wish they would've set up before or else I wouldn't have ordered it. We arrived on Labor Day and while it was busy, most people were heading home from the long weekend. The room we got was a standard King and it was quite large for us and the two 3-year old grandkids. They both had a blast in the water park and pretend play in the arcade. The lobby also had great free entertainment and crafts that the kiddos also enjoyed. We did splurge on the buffet breakfast which was a great deal since the 3-year olds are free, and a pepperoni pizza which was $21 and tasted like a Pizza Hut one. We also got a cup of 16 pretzel pups for $16. Other than that, we brought our own drinks and snacks. Such a great experience! Definitely recommend! read more

Check-in was suppose to be at 4 (we arrived at 3 and started the process) we didn't get a room until after 5. Their excuse/reply was "Howls, there was an emergency situation at the desk, we do apologize for the issues this has caused." when I asked why I was told our room would be ready in 10mins and it had been over an hour.... Mind you I was in the lobby the entire time. There was never an emergency of any kind! Traveling with a medically complicated child and needing to do specific treatments on time and then having a huge delay is unacceptable. But it gets better. Finally get to the room and it's filthy. I have photos.... Whatever I brought Lysol and scrubbing wipes. Then we get a little pool time, have dinner, head to the arcade since every thing was delayed and a machine freezes on them while owing over 600 tickets. Great, I reach out to them on their " concierge" text line and no apology, no I'm sorry just "our attendants are gone for the evening. Take a photo, we can't help you right now" basically. There was a little more context and excuses. ok, great let's grab some waters from the vending machine and try again tomorrow - NOPE. They no longer have vending, everything is closed, and you can't purchase water bottles anywhere after 11pm. Just a word to the weary, when you see a great deal on a room hear - RUN!!! It's not worth the aggregation or complete lack of any customer service, any service really. I think a motel 6 would be better than this place. This has been a family tradition since I was a child and bring my own children I thought was going to continue that...... but no, never again. I'm so done with this place. Not to mention we had 5 arcade cards all of which had 10,000 or more points on them and during Covid their systems updated and erased years of arcade savings. that should have been the last strong but I kept allowing more disappointments. Daughter wrist band snapped bottom came off after check in and came up to counter and asked to assist and Lilly, was her name, said had to go back to end of line to get help with that. Wait in line after another 20 people to get that fixed? Are you kidding me? They called for manager and she helped at the desk but I asked why should I need to get beck in line? TL;DR Fun waterpark. Everything else can improve. Rooms: Our standard family suite was clean. The RFID wristband is a convenient room key. The mini fridge and microwave allowed for basic meals. Despite having limited choices with a room block, the layout is quite illogical especially for families with kids who need to sleep earlier. Why design the sink to be outside the bathroom, and TV in front of the beds/ so far from the living space; it's hard to be dead silent at night. Water Park: Pretty impressed with the variety, as I've rarely been to water parks in my life. Scanning your wristband to check in/ out towels was easy. Plenty of (bulky) kids lifejackets are available to freely use as well. Lots of side seating, but they can nearly completely fill up by midday. Other Activities: The arcade is a fun attraction, and it boasts similar games/ prizes as Dave and Busters, but at a higher cost. There are scheduled daily events (story time, games, arts and crafts, character photo ops) to keep kids entertained in the main lobby. For additional $$ theres MagiQuest, mining experience and outdoor rope course all well. Food: Overall more pricey for onsite convenience. The breakfast buffet was my favorite which had a huge variety of items for everyone. The restaurant dinner service is very slow. Ordering from the (very average) pizza place ahead time via the app is convenient. The pretzel and ice cream shops are mediocre. There's Starbucks and a mini convenience store too. Other notes: $15/day parking charge. Considering the area, which is nowhere like a 5 star resort, it does give you the impression of being nickel and dimed. My family and I recently visited Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, WA, where we experienced an incident in the wave pool that raised significant safety concerns. While in the pool, I observed a piece of feces floating on the bottom and promptly had my family exit the water to report the issue to a staff member. I accompanied him back to the location of the observation. He remained on the edge of the pool deck while I pointed it out in the water. Following this, I anticipated an announcement instructing all guests to exit the pool; however, no such announcement was made. I subsequently informed another employee about the situation, who acknowledged the issue with a brief "okay" and then departed. Approximately 30 minutes later, my daughter approached another staff member to convey the same information, yet she received a similar response before walking away. Throughout our time at the facility, we did not observe any employees entering the pool to address the issue or to remove the feces with a net. Consequently, we did not feel secure enough to return to the wave pool for the remainder of our visit. read more

We came over a weekend for a staycation after a busy month! Online reservations and options for adding packages was very easy to navigate. Check in upon arrival was straightforward however took about 20 minutes or so because there were quite a few others checking in at the same time. We love that there are changing rooms and showers in the pool area as we didn't have a room available under a few hours after our arrival. The food options were pretty basic but enough to make everyone in our party happy. We had the pretzels and pretzel dogs as a snack after a bit of time in the pool. There were an array of life vests available to borrow however some of them looked pretty worn out. My 1 and 7 year old loved the different areas and pools, we just wish the water was a tad warmer but after a few minutes, no one even noticed! We received a text when our room was available and had no problems accessing it. I love the ease of the bands to be able to get into the rooms and also access the amenities. The mobile ordering was easy and made dinner around everyone's showers simple. We opted for the breakfast and prepaid, good selection, everything was fresh, and tables were clean. I wish our empty plates were cleared prior to us finishing our meal as they were stacking up and that she stopped by to bring us napkins earlier in our meal but it was fine and we made due. Loved that we still had access to the pool even after check out and lots of activities to do before we left. I definitely do recommend and my son is already asking to come back again soon! read more

This is long past due after 17 years I'm still angry. 17 years ago my daughter's Girl Scout troop took a trip to Great Wolf lodge in Grand Mound, WA. While there she slipped and broke her leg. As a parent you never want to get a call at work that your child is in the hospital. I know that accidents happen and wet concrete is slippery however it is UNACCEPTABLE THAT NO ONE FROM GREAT WOLF LODGE REACHED OUT TO SEE IF SHE WAS OK. I think they were concerned about liability however there is something called compassion and being human that surpasses liability concerns especially since they had signed waivers. Went here with hubby and our 14-month old son! Our friends and their 2-year-old daughter joined us too. We spent two nights here and we all had a blast!! We got the pup pass which offers you so many cool things including a stuffy from build a bear. Character appearances and evening dance parties were so much fun. The indoor water theme park is open till 8pm each day. Arcade is 24/7. It feels like a mini Vegas for kids. I loved the feel of the room. We upgraded and got a bigger room (initially we booked the wolf day), which worked out terrifically because in the evenings after putting our little ones to sleep our friends came over and we just hung out. Important things to consider: - Getting some food/snacks/drinks from Safeway which is a 10-minute drive. I can't believe I bought a very small snack box (which had carrots and tomatoes and hummus) for 8 dollars... that's a bit much!! - Remember to return the towels you borrow from the water park, so you don't get charged. - Getting the breakfast buffet pass (that was worth it). Good selection. - We didn't like the Firestone restaurant much (everything was too greasy or oily for our taste) and it took long for them to get our food out. Note to management: We should have been informed prior to our arrival that you would be closing early on Sunday September 8...that wasn't fair...and that information should have been stated on your website. read more

This place is a disaster if you want food after playing in the water! There is no urgency or even a hint of care about getting you served within a reasonable time. If you eat at the lodge, be sure you aren't even slightly hungry because you will be starving before you get your food. This applies to any of their food places. Well, wait. The buffet is self serve if you don't mind dry looking food without any replenishing of the trays. It's like they're waiting for the last morsel to be taken by a customer before they put out a new/fresh entree. Tonight it was Italian food. What an insult to all Italians. Ugh. Don't believe the bad reviews--this place was magical! It felt like a mini Disneyland. We only encountered one employee who was a bit grumpy, but every other staff member was incredibly kind to our toddlers--even when they were having meltdowns because it was time to nap or head back to the room. The staff were always smiling and patient. At one point, one of my children dropped his popcorn bucket on the ground. The staff quickly cleaned it up for us with a smile, and were just so nice about the whole thing. We played the Magic Quest game, and my toddlers absolutely loved it. We also spent a lot of time at the waterpark and really appreciated that there were attractions for both younger and older kids. If you have a toddler, I definitely recommend bringing water wings, though they do have life jackets available to borrow. Our hotel room was incredibly clean--we were genuinely shocked by how spotless everything was when we arrived. The bathroom was perfect. The next day, they even asked if we needed more towels. The TV in the room lets you connect your Netflix account, which was great for helping the kids unwind after the waterpark. We tried all of the restaurants in the lodge, and every one of them had amazing food. We even ate at the fancier restaurant and felt it was totally worth the price--the food was absolutely delicious. We also visited the on-site Starbucks. I'm usually pretty picky about coffee, but we genuinely loved it. We don't have a single bad thing to say about Great Wolf Lodge. We'll definitely be looking out for more deals and plan to come back again next summer! read more

Great Wolf Lodge is a kid paradise. It is not a parent paradise. If you go into it with that in mind and want to show your kids a wonderful time, you can have a terrific adventure. Here are things I liked: - we stayed in a suite and it was spacious and clean. - my kids loved MagiQuest, and the Master Magi ceremony on the last day was so cute. The guys who did it were awesome. - the water slides were fun - it was nice to be able to order ahead at a few of the restaurants - the salmon meal at the table service restaurant, Fireside, was actually really good - Fatburger at the water park made a good impossible burger - the arcade is so fun with great selection. The bad: - the mattresses were bricks with sheets covering them. Eek. And ya need a good night's sleep after following your kids around all day. Also - the bedding needs an upgrade. - no mobile ordering at Starbucks and long lines in the morning - the breakfast buffet is very limited for the price and could use many more options - the Italian buffet used to be a Mexican restaurant and that was better. Now, they have pizza/pasta AND Italian. - MagiQuest and people taking the elevators to get to their rooms makes for long waits during peak times - they need another MagiQuest game once the first is completed. Many families come more than once. Also - the "boss" fights are way too hard and end up needing parental help. Okay, that's it from me. Food is pretty expensive, but the hotel is surrounded by fast food options. And there is a liquor and wine store less than a mile away. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I have a back injury, and the hotel had a wheelchair I was able to use the whole time. Helpful suggestion: -The rooms are soo quiet. We brought our sound machine. I'll keep saying, this place has gone down hill bad. They used to be worth going to. If they want to improve bring back the twin sized beds in the theme room as well as the TV. Last time we went we booked a theme room and my son who is 14, couldn't fit fully extended in the bed. I had to go out and buy a tv for him and his friend to use the PlayStation they brought, because, before the theme rooms had a tv in them. When I booked this place, over 6 months before we went the description for the theme room showed a tv in the theme room. We prepaid for this trip and were charged an additional $150 at the end of our trip. Luckily I was able to get that money back. Save your money and go somewhere else. I'm going to preface this review by stating that I fully expected to lay out some cash for this trip, that is not what my negative opinions below are about.  Everyone should know by now that Great Wolf Lodge is not a cheap trip and the expected charges were all laid out for us ahead of time.   Our check-in experience was great. We didn't wait long at reception and our room was ready when we checked in at 1 pm so that was great. For lunch, we ordered  Hot Dog on a Stick in the app, it was ready in about 15 mins and we brought it up in our room to eat it. $54 for two adults and one child, all three of us got meals (entree, fries and a drink) and the adults upgraded our drinks to a small chocolate shake and an iced lemonade.  Food was good and filled us up. We went to the water park in the early afternoon and it was busy but not overcrowded.  We were able to find seats by all of the swim areas each time we moved around.  Our two-year-old LOVED the little kid area and went on the water slide at least a dozen times.  We had hoped to try out the wave pool but by the time we got over to that area, it was closed and there was someone in the water with a net so I am thinking someone pooped in it.  Despite this, we still had a great time in the water park and spent a good 4+ hrs there. Dinner is where things started to go downhill quickly. We ate at the sit-down restaurant "Fireside" and regretted it pretty quickly.  There was a 30 minute wait, which wasn't bad.  When we got seated, we noticed that they were only about half full, if that.  Our waitress came by and took our drink/food order, dropped off our drinks, and then we didn't see her again for 40+ mins.  She didn't stop by to fill our beverages or let us know when our food would arrive, nothing.  I didn't even see her serving other tables but I did see 2-3 other servers walking around.  She eventually brought out our food, refilled our drinks once and then disappeared again.  Didn't check in after the food was dropped off, didn't refill our waters any further, didn't ask us if we wanted dessert, none of that.  She popped up again with our bill and said there was no rush to pay but then just left again!  It was super disappointing as this is the most expensive dining option on the property, our son's burger was so tough it was almost inedible and we spent more time with empty glasses than full ones.  It would be one thing if they were short staffed and only seating a couple of parties at a time to keep up with service speed.  It would be another if they were packed and service was slow because they were serving a bunch of people.  This didn't appear to be either.  Overall, we didn't feel good about spending $100 here due to the service and the food quality. Back up in our room after dinner, we had an issue with our upstairs neighbor having a lot of energy and we could hear them running back and forth across the room and moving the furniture around.  There is no carpeting in any of the rooms and darn near no insulation.  You hear EVERYTHING.  Quiet hours are supposed to be from 11pm-7am so we were hopeful we'd have some quiet at some point but when it didn't happen by midnight, we called the front desk at midnight as the noise was constantly waking our whole family up.   The running finally stopped around 1:30am but by the the time we were able to get our boy back to bed, it was nearly 3am.  To say we slept awful and were exhausted the next morning would be an understatement.  We had hopes to get some more water park time in before heading home but none of us had the energy.  The value of staying here is significantly less if you don't use your park passes both days so we hated to leave, but it was the best option given the circumstances.   Before we headed home, we hit up the breakfast brunch. This is where a good value comes in.  We prepaid for this and it was $17.99 per adult with our toddler eating free because he's only two.  We arrived at 10:30 am right after we checked out and there was plenty of food that was hot and fresh.  Not the hugest spread but still a good selection and everything we ate was delicious.  We all cleared our plates.  On top of the good food, we had the nicest server who really took care of us and made us feel welcome.  She was a gem. We did hit up the gift shop as our last stop before leaving. I absolutely loved the gift shop.  Pricey, which is to be expected, but a very wide selection with just about something for everyone.  I was disappointed that they do not carry any toddler size shirts but we were able to find some wolf slippers that fit so it worked out.  All of the ladies who helped us in the gift shop were wonderful.   Overall, the two most expensive elements of the trip for us were pretty bad.  With the price of day passes being so high, it is unlikely we will be back because we definitely wouldn't want to stay the night here again. read more

This review is for the water park and parking only. I have not actually stayed in the hotel. We only purchased day passes. We went with friends for a weekend. The water park itself was nice and fun. We loved all the slides and the hurricane. They were all amazing. We also loved the tidal wave pool. We found that to be really fun. It was overall a fun day at the water park. They also have a hot tub area and a kids/family area as well. I am not sure if it was worth the price we paid, but overall it was fun. However, the business practices are complete and total garbage. The employees that we encountered here were not the friendliest, at all. In addition, we feel that this place is a total scam. They nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING. It seems like everything there is a charge for even though you pay a large price to even stay there or to get a day pass. They even have you check in and check out towels, which is ridiculous. They charge for parking now and they did not charge for parking pre-pandemic. So you mean to tell me I pay $100 for a day pass and I'm required to pay for parking as well? Totally insane! Also, the wait for food at fatburgers was just totally insane. It took forever. They also give you a cup which you have to scan in order to fill your cup as they don't allow refills. That practice is such garbage and them just being cheap. There is no other place I know that does this. That was ridiculous. The scanning mechanism to fill your cup wasn't even working properly. In addition, I feel that for adults they need a better system to identify who is old enough to purchase alcohol. We had to show our IDs more than we were comfortable with. I mean how many people are comfortable carrying their ID around a water park with little to no seating and 100s of people? Not very many. I feel like they should have a bracelet system that identifies 21 and up individuals. Overall, it's a fun water park with great activities, but a lot of their business practices are shady. I recommend preparing for a lot of extra expenses if you go there. I will go again for the water park experience, but the next time I will know better what I am in for as far as expenses go. The trip was about my kids having fun and that was accomplished! The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and they were prompt to bring requested items to your room. Was it a money grab? Absolutely. But it always is with these types of places. I believe it says somewhere you're not supposed to bring outside food into the water park, but it wasn't enforced that I saw. I saw a woman with a whole tray of lasagna even. That is a bonus for anyone staying in the hotel and quickly getting tired of pizza and burgers served in the water park area. I do wish there was a rule about occupying the chairs with your items and not actually using them. Many times I looked around to see tons of chairs with a towel or shirt "saving" them, but no one around, this was very frustrating! We had a lot of fun at the non water entertainment parts of the resort as well. My kids loved the dance party and movie. We also had fun at the arcade, but were disappointed at the cost of the toys in the prize area... dollar store items for 1,000 tickets is a bit much. I was also not thrilled about the food choices. There needs to be a middle of the road sit down deli style restaurant. Fireside seemed geared toward adults and the buffet cost is hard to justify. We ended up going to the buffet because the fireside was an hour and a half wait and we were very underwhelmed. It was towards the end of the night and the food looked dried up and nothing was being replenished. I understand not wanting to be wasteful, but if the food is going to be discounted, so should the cost after a certain hour. The snack areas were great for during the day, but when it comes time for an actual meal there could be some improvement. If it were up to me I would not go back, but my kids loved it... so I'm sure we will be back. read more

Great Wolf Lodge - Balcony overlooking park - Resorts Near Me - Centralia, Washington

Reading through recent reviews and I'm quite surprised that they are so low. My family - 4 month old, 2 year old, husband, my mom and I - recently stayed for 3 nights and we had a fantastic time, especially my two year old, as we celebrated her birthday there. It was also our first time ever at GWL. *warning* they are currently undergoing construction. During our stay, the back half of the lobby was closed off. I follow a Facebook group dedicated to this specific GWL location and previous visitors have stated that construction has been happening for quite sometime. After looking through old Yelp photos, it looks like they've modernized the place during construction which, I heard will continue on until 2024. With the back half of the lobby closed out, it seemed chaotic when activities were done as the activities were located right in front of the construction wall. The space was too small as there is so much foot traffic there (people checking in, buying Starbucks, buying pizza, etc). With Christmas right around the corner, GWL has decorated the lobby to suit the occasion. I love that the finale of the dance parties end with "snow" falling. Additionally, they have Mr. and Mrs. Clause stop by for a photo-op in the late afternoon. Waterpark: I can only review the toddler area because that is the only place we played in. The toddler area has two areas; one area with 0 ft of water and the other 1 ft of water. My daughter got bored pretty fast in the 0ft area and basically stayed in the other area the rest of our visit. She totally loved walking and splashing around. They also have cabanas for rent. With that being said, I was surprised as to how small the waterpark was. I had assumed it to be bigger from the outside but I was wrong. Additionally, it is really hard to find a spot to sit unless you go in during opening. The weekend was pretty horrendous as there were so many people. Weekdays would be a better time as we were able to find chairs and a table (and this was around 11:30am). The water park itself was humid and hot upon entering but once my body regulated, it was perfect. The water wasn't too bad and it got warm once I played in the water. The toddler/baby area is closest to the food/restroom area. Food: If you want to spend less on food, ordering outside would be best, however, my husband and I simply didn't want to leave the vicinity due to having 2 kids under 2. It was more of a hassle to leave than to spend more money on food. We ate at Buckets (in the waterpark), Hungry as a Wolf and Lodge Fired Grill. I was impressed with the options at Lodge Fired Grill. GWL app: Amazing! Download it as its very convenient. We ordered our food on the app. It also provides daily events and allows you to select reminders before an event takes place. Chat option is amazing. I couldn't find the housekeeping line anywhere in the room. Used the chat option on the app and we were given towels within 30 minutes after my initial contact. Checkout can be done on the app too. Room: we booked the room with 2 queen sized beds and a pull out sofa bed. The room was ok. Bathroom was tiny and the sink was outside of the bathroom. There closet, if that's what you call it, was open (no doors) and very limited space. My sister-in-law slept on the sofa bed and she said it was pretty comfortable, however, it was noisy when she moved. As for a microwave, it is available in the room. It is small but it is quite useful. With that being said, the windows do open so you can air out the smell of whatever food you are heating/bringing in. Beds were comfortable. Wi-Fi was crap. Better off using data. Free wolf ear headbands are also available for guests. So my girl and I visited Great Wolf Lodge in Centralia, Washington. While the place looks great, it has a number of so so attractions. They claimed to have a nice wave pool, when the thing is actually making waves which isn't very often and when it does make waves, it's waving for about 3 minutes and still (no waves) for 20 minutes! It's a long wait time. The waves are sloppy jalopy and there's too many people in the pool to do anything with them. For starters, the locker rooms and changing areas are pretty small compared to how many people are there at one time. The large lockers are stacked from the floor all the way to about 6 feet high and of course none of them are available except for the ones on the floor, so if you're a little older, you'll find it very difficult to bend way down to put stuff into or remove stuff out of your locker. They could put these things on some type of shelf and made more lockers that are much easier to reach. The parking is not that great either, and they are now asking for paid parking. It's not enough that you have to cough up $75 per person just to get into the place, now you also gotta pay about $20 to park in there parking lot. The air inside is quite humid and stuffy. Slippery all around and too many young kids running around without parental supervision. Other than these things, the lodge is ok. read more

Pretty ran down, room had hair all over the bed , paint chipping off the walls and a broken shower. This location hasn't done any restoration since it probably opened. Super expensive for the quality you're getting. I wouldn't be surprised if they close down. read more

very confusing about how to check in. feels like the waterpark was the first and foremost the convenience of the hotel was secondary. We were placed in a room king size suite on the second floor right next to the magic treasure hunt. Very loud people leaning against our door. If you're coming here, please make sure you don't request that room. Not sure that we will be coming back again. read more

Check in was quick and easy, Overall the entire stay was great, kids love the pool, activities, ice cream and arcade etc. Although eating at the fireside wasn't very welcoming. Axel was the host up front, no greeting whatsoever, someone needs to teach him proper manners. As we followed him in we saw our family inside already eating, i requested to sit next to them & he says if i sit you next to them i have to charge you an extra gratuity, i then asked why is that he says that's just how it is, which i find very ridiculous. However prime rib was great. Would appreciate if he was taught proper customer service. read more

My fiance attempted to book a reservation for his sons birthday in a couple of weeks over the phone. He is eligible for the HEROES discount (law enforcement, teachers, etc) - they told him it did not exist. He then asked for the cheapest/smallest room that he has seen online. They said it was no longer available and charged him $500! I was able to confirm the room was still available online, as well as the HEROES discount and another discount. He attempted to call back and cancel so he could rebook using the discount ($140). They would not let him, and he would have to wait some number of days that likely would put him outside of the cancellation window. What a scam!!!!! read more
