This dog needs severe medical treatment and I do not feel that Dr. Fay's office was giving the best advice on how to handle the conditions of the dog therefore I am taking it to a second opinion, but unfortunately, I cannot seem to get the paperwork that needs to have that happen and his health is starting to decline because of this ! I've been told getting records from this facility has been very difficult for not private people but other veterinary offices. The boarding price is very reasonable ($17 USD per night) and they seem to have a very good control of their customers. The spaces for the dogs are separated by size of they'll feed either what you bring or what you ask them too. OUTDOORS This property sits in a semi-rural area, yet close to I-5, so you'll find that they take the pets out to the large, natural grass area in the back... Where they can experience outdoors for 15 minutes a day. Outdoors in the #PNW has a different meaning for different people, even for dogs. It's #outdoors nonetheless. RESERVATIONS With a large all-season all-inclusive waterpark resort such as Great Wolf Lodge a couple of minutes away, finding a spot takes time. Make sure you make your reservation in advance and remember to bring your dogs vaccination records! There are 4 of us who compete in events listed on his website with two of us who have tried to nail him down for training, with being left feeling he has no interest. One has been trying for months. Having to go with somebody else to train with after well over reasonable amount of waiting with no attempt from Bart to return contact. Blows my mind how a trainer can just ignore multiple long term clients who are looking for somebody to train with closer to home. Will look at him again if he surfaces. But we have dogs in need and competitions upcoming and can"r afford to sit and wait to see if he surfaces. They have always been wonderful and have always treated our pets wonderfully as well! Yesterday we had to take my daughters border collie to the vet because he was having severe bouts of diarrhea and vomiting. Everyone in the office from the receptionist staff, to the assistants in the exam rooms, to Dr. Faye were amazing! They always are amazing! Bandit had several accidents in the exam room and none of the staff complained about having to clean it up. They treated Bandit so kind and were very compassionate towards him. They quickly took him back to the procedure rooms, knowing something serious, was going on with him. They ran the necessary, bloodwork, tested his stool, and got IV fluids going immediately. They also gave him the necessary medication he needed, and he was discharged in the evening the same day. His diagnosis was colitis and gastroenteritis, both which can be very serious if left untreated. My daughter and I are so thankful for this veterinary office! They always, without fail, take care of our pets in the best way that they can. We are grateful that they were able to resolve the health issue with bandit quickly so that we could bring him back home and get him on the road to recovery. I highly recommend this veterinary office! They are amazing!

My husband had to physically carry him out of the vehicle. When I contacted the business, I spoke with Maddy at the front desk, who reassured me that my dog had not sustained an injury while in their care. However, I was not present and was never shown any video footage or documentation to support that claim, which left me with serious concerns about what actually happened. Months later, I received a brief email asking me to update my information in their portal. I responded honestly and shared how unsettled I still felt about the previous incident. Shortly after, a staff member called and said they would be happy to schedule grooming appointments for my dogs since they hadn't been in for a while. However, when I arrived to pick them up, I was told that my dogs were not actually scheduled for grooming but that they "accommodated them anyway." I was then informed that Friendly Grove would no longer be grooming dogs at all. The entire interaction felt incredibly confusing and dismissive, and it came across as though they were simply trying to push us out as customers. They offered a $120 credit for that service and essentially told us to find another groomer. My dogs had been going there for years, and $120 doesn't even cover the cost of a single grooming service. After years of loyalty, the lack of transparency, accountability, and communication was extremely disappointing. I expected far better treatment from a place we trusted with our pets for so long.
