You know when you have such a great experience going in the first time and of course you expect a repeat. I sorry to say that did not happen! My wife and I returned to get Smarty summer capable (heat) mostly. But as faith would have it, not only did our schedule get messed up, I missed the phone notification he was ready. Here it comes in today's business experience I was ready to pay a late charge $ if you will and a tongue whip-in for my inattentiveness. We experienced none of that and Smarty, a very nerves Golden D.... was looking good in his summer suit and Tie!!! Thank you to all, at Doggie Design, for your caring for Smarty as much as we do. Mom and Dad. PS everyone tells him how nice he smells.

Took my long haired cat, who is very difficult to bathe or shave to them and they gave him a full body shave. Highly recommend them, very happy with their service. They were all very friendly.

I love how they left Muneca. They're the best. I really recommend doggie designs pet grooming.

I have taken my dogs here for years. It wasn't until yesterday I brought my 9 month old in for a wash and nail trim. He went in fine. When I picked him up he was so eager to leave. I got him in the car and usually he is all over the back seat trying to get in the front seat. But this time he just laid on the seat. I got home and he wouldn't get out. So I had my husband come carry him in. That is when I noticed that he couldn't walk on his left paw. I called right away and they told me he did throw him self down. Told me to keep them informed about him. Well he couldn't even hardly stand. So we rushed him to the er vet and he had a sprain. So they put him on pain medicine and stuff to get the swelling down. I called this morning to tell them what happened. The owner got on and said it was my fault not theirs. I understand not wanting to take responsibility cause it would make you liable. I was looking for some accountability for what my dog is going thru. But the disrespect that owner showed with no compassion at all. You have lost my business and I am letting people I have sent there, know to not go there. Shame on the owner for being so rude! Oh by the way I would like a copy of all the videos from getting washed to getting his nails done cause the dr said my dogs under arms were tore up and he was in a harness. I highly recommend doggie designs pet grooming. They took time to ask me what I wanted and what kind of personality my dog had. We had a great time in Chehalis while we waited. We went to to Shonas for coffee & Ewe & I for gloves, book & brush book for art supplies, the beYOUtiful boutique, for jeans, Gracie's on market for soaps, the market street pub for lunch, the Brunswig shoe store for waterproof boots, and had an amazing manicure and pedicure from Pema Nails from an amazing Vietnamese woman. This seems to be one of the only grooming places in town that actually trims cat nails. I didn't expect that to be a difficult thing to find but it is! I am glad to have this place nearby and also open on Saturdays. They simply ask for you to call ahead of time to let them know you're coming...no appointment is necessary for just nail trims. I have used them a couple times now and I simply place my cat on their counter and they trim her nails right there...easy. Also cheap...it only costs $5.00! I will definitely continue to use their services while I am living in the area. read more

Only place in town with semi good reviews. 1st visit was good not bad. Brought my schnauzer in for her second grooming and sadly it was not good. I am not one to leave bad reviews unless it is warranted. When I picked her up, first thing was she had a poof on her tail which I specifically told two employees what I was wanting and still got a poof. She has no tail so all I wanted them to do was leave some hair by not shaving so close on the tail area. Poodle poof is not what I was going for and I actually used that terminology so they would know. Her cut was extremely choppy everywhere, when they fixed the poof I mentioned it and she tried to make it smoother. Ended up recutting her at home to get rid of the choppiness. And my girl does not get a standard schnauzer cut so no skirt or long leg hair, so simple cut everywhere except the face. Sadly I will be looking elsewhere. read more

I thought long and hard about leaving this review, my friend told me she would want to know if something like this happened at her groomers, so ultimately I decided to share my nightmare. Last week I took my dog in to be groomed, upon picking him up the gal said "he was extra talkative today" I didn't think too much about it since he is a constant whiner (yea he was extra talkative because someone hurt him...bad) I paid and booked my next appointment. They brought out my dog and I walked him out, he was walking funny and refused to jump into the car. I thought maybe the groomer pulled on his back leg or something since his back legs and hips can give him issues. Got him home he wouldn't walk anywhere just wanted to lay in his bed, we just let him rest thinking he will be ok after a couple days. That wasn't the answer, when he tried to stand up he fell over and couldn't walk he was super wobbly, hobbling and falling, I called and made a vet appointment because his front leg wasn't working correct at all. When I told the vet what was going on and she examined and x-rayed him she let me know that this is a neurological injury caused by trauma due to the groomers lead!!!! Either he was tethered up to high or was yanked on!! So my dog is partially paralyzed in his front leg! I have already been to the vet twice since and have multiple follow ups coming! Vet bill is already over 600$! Taking legal action to get his present and future medical bills taken care of is not off the table, we are weighing our options. I understand everyone has an off day and I don't believe this was done intentionally but regardless this happened and my dogs life going further isn't going to be anywhere near what it was before. I have to carry him outside to potty, carry him to his multiple beds, bring his food and water to his bed, give him two different medications twice a day, definitely not the life I want for him! We are starting physical therapy today. My dog had been going here over two years, we will never go here again and I will never recommend them again. I wasn't even aware an issue like this could happen this is why I'm sharing, just be aware read more

Make sure you want to leave your dog for 4 hours and expect to pay extra for the convenience of them being totally rude in the meantime. Seriously rude groomer and not concerned about my dog at all, she's totally stressed out!! Do t go here. read more

I was very clear with these groomers when I dropped off my dog to NOT put a leash around her neck. My pom has a bad collapsing trachea and is on 3 medications in order to help her breath right. Came to pick her up after 6 hours and her tongue was purple and she couldn't catch her breath. I was told "Oh that's normal" from the very rude owner. THAT IS NOT NORMAL! I told them I needed to take her to the vet right away. As i grabbed her to rush her to the vet, I was yelled at that I still needed to pay. MY dog was kept in a kennel for hours without water. The place was dirty. It's like a dog grooming sweatshop and to top it off they almost killed my dog. Stay far far away. read more

Walked in for my scheduled appt, no one was smiling, they told me there was 4 people in front of me and to come back and pick up my cat 4 hours later while she sat in her crate to wait for her bath. Front desk lady was very nice and everyone else I had talked with had attitude. I overheard a gal that was working on a dog and she seemed very annoyed with the dog. Newly opened in old town Chehalis. Great, friendly, service. She showed me a shampoo that would help my Doxi with his itchy skin. Great price and she added a cute "tie" around his neck. I think she'll do really great. There is a need for more groomers in the area..go see her! We'll be back when in the area next. read more

Their location is very close to the Great Wolf lodge. Bryan was happy to show me the kennels upon request, Scott was kind enough to give us some tips on building our dog's confidence, and Gale was professional at all times. The presentation of the facility was clean, bright, and organized. The kennels are indoors with a platform that is attached to the wall. I can tell they spent a lot of time on their website as well, providing a plethora of info for you to indulge in should you have any questions. With that said, I do have some small qualms. I sent my dog's shot records as requested via email but I did not receive a confirmation of the receipt. When I called a couple days before our reservation to double check, I had learned that they did in fact receive my email but my dog did not have all his shot records present when I thought that he did. I was flustered at the thought of driving so far on the day of to potentially just getting rejected because we were missing information. Secondly, my dog definitely didn't use the potty enough. This may not have been at the fault of the trainers considering my guy probably held it in but he had thee longest pee of his life that I've ever seen after I picked him up. Since there's no knowing for sure how often supervision over potty breaks happen, my recommendation for all the first timers would be to not board your anxious dog. Overall we are satisfied with the experience.

They have always been wonderful and have always treated our pets wonderfully as well! Yesterday we had to take my daughters border collie to the vet because he was having severe bouts of diarrhea and vomiting. Everyone in the office from the receptionist staff, to the assistants in the exam rooms, to Dr. Faye were amazing! They always are amazing! Bandit had several accidents in the exam room and none of the staff complained about having to clean it up. They treated Bandit so kind and were very compassionate towards him. They quickly took him back to the procedure rooms, knowing something serious, was going on with him. They ran the necessary, bloodwork, tested his stool, and got IV fluids going immediately. They also gave him the necessary medication he needed, and he was discharged in the evening the same day. His diagnosis was colitis and gastroenteritis, both which can be very serious if left untreated. My daughter and I are so thankful for this veterinary office! They always, without fail, take care of our pets in the best way that they can. We are grateful that they were able to resolve the health issue with bandit quickly so that we could bring him back home and get him on the road to recovery. I highly recommend this veterinary office! They are amazing!

Most definitely the best place to get your dogs groomed and bathed. Not one time have I ever felt that my dogs were getting anything less than the best. I'm 100% comfortable with leaving my two best friends in their care. You can talk to the girls for 30 seconds and know for sure that your best interest is at the front of their agenda. You can trust Doggie Designs Pet Grooming to give your dog a safe, caring, and high quality grooming experience! Our older Siberian Husky has sore hips, can be scared/anxious, and needed a full grooming. The staff offered us an appointment time when she wouldn't need to wait in a crate, were gentle with her hips, and her grooming outcome was amazing. I know how much work it is just to brush her out. I am very impressed with the way they handle my 2 little girls. the girls working there always love on them as if they were their own. Today was the second time I had my dog in. Wasn't super thrilled with the price and results the first time but it was my dogs first visit so I tried them again. Terrible. I just paid $110 for a bath, brush, and face shave. They tacked on $25 "handling" fee without calling to advise or authorize. The face shave is a butcher job. Very disappointed. read more

I feel comfortable leaving my pets when they are getting groomed. Normally, they hate going in places, but they get so excited when they see the door at Doggie Designs. When I pick them up, they are gorgeous! The staff is very friendly. I 100% recommend them. read more

Jennifer Schafer has been grooming Harlow, my Bernese Mt Dog. Because of her excellent grooming skills, he has been winning ribbons at every dog show I take him to. he has 8 points and is 7 points away from getting his championship. she is the best. read more

We have a 4.5 yr old Female F1 Bernedoodle. It took us a couple years and some really bad experiences other places to find Doggie Designs. After that we decided to continue to drive the 1.5 hrs every 5 weeks to get her groomed. It's worth it! read more
