It was our first time visiting here, and we had a wonderful experience. We walked in and were greeted by a lovely woman, whose name I did not catch. She explained to us that everything in the store is at the dogs' level so they could experience the store as well. She was gracious in allowing our dog to sniff around and check everything out, and was very helpful in showing us the selection of leashes, including leashes made from recycled climbing rope, which I think is pretty cool. The employee was incredibly friendly to both the dog and the humans, and was generous with treats for our large-bread, even asking if the flavor was okay due to potential allergies. She even sent us off with a free sample bag of chicken treats. Overall, we had a great experience shopping here. read more

Took my senior (deaf) dog to self wash and the employee came to the back to greet us and startled him causing him to bark and as I reassured him the employee says "Unfortunately aggressive dogs are not allowed, so its a no go" I have brought my dogs into the store several other times, and on this occasion, we came in the front door past 2 people with 2 dogs without incident. I am offended and angry to be treated so rudely. I do not recommend a pet store that has employees that label pets as aggressive without explanation..........and reading other reviews this has happened to others. read more

I am a regular customer here. The natural shampoo and conditioner they sell helps my dog not itch all the time. The staff are all friendly and very knowledgable. They even asked if my dog has any allergies before giving him a treat! Everything is a little pricey, but it's worth it to get stuff that's made in USA and not full of toxins. I know my dog is safe enjoying any product I buy here. Took my dog here on his birthday to pick out a present and he had so much fun! read more

My friend and I went to wash her dog ... when we were done we looked around the store and when we went checkout out ..... the worker introduced herself saying I have not met you and offered then fed Tucker three different types of treats..... and then he barked at her and she reached for the top of his head and he went to nip her .... He didn't touch her though .... My friend recorrected the dog .... As the worker turned to the desk to pay... she says if he continues to have that behavior he might not have the opportunity to come back ....And top off this shity experience the worker says he needs socialization... My concerns are if u have never met a dog before.....and he barks then back off ! If you know that dogs are going to possibly act aggressive after a bath.... Then don't have your workers hand out treats . And if u have never met the dog or the owner u might not want to say that the dog Needs socialization. It's really ashame that the owner Sara would take the word the employee without looking at the whole true situation read more

I have been taking my dog to Three Dog Knight for the past three years. I started taking him when he was a pup. we would use the dog wash and then he would get a new leash or a new collar or some fun treats. Monday I went in with a friend and my pup and there was someone we didn't recognize working the desk. I went back and we did our normal wash and my guy did better than ever in the wash station. After we finished the gal working gave my pup couple of treats he did well was gentle and she complimented him on being so gentle. The gal played with his ears and tried to pet him and he barked at the gal and then she asked if his ears were sensitive and tried to pet him again and he acted like he was going to nip her. I told her I was really sorry he had never responded like that. while I paid my bill she proceeded to say he needed to be socialized. We left the store and the following day I contacted the owner that I have had nothing but good experiences with and wanted to just tell her about our experience. During this call she let me know that my dog was not aloud to come back in the store because he was aggressive. He was far from aggressive is very socialized he attends day care at the pet resort, goes to the dog park, and goes on many walks and plays well with humans and other dogs. I am extremely confused by the owner's response to feedback on our experience and how we would have been notified my dog wasnt welcome in the shop any longer after being great customers for three years if I hadn't called to talk about the interaction wehsd with her employee. read more

Would give them zero stars if available. Grumpy, poor customer service, and a good place to catch a virus, by their safety protocol practices. Yuk. Will not recommend this place to my many dog friends. Too bad for them. She informed us she was the owner, so you can't blame employees for how poorly she treats customers. I want to review this place because there isn't much information. I drove 35 minutes into town because this is the closest "self serve" dog wash place to me. Unfortunately, it is not like many others. Usually you get ear cleaners, nail clippers, blow dryers etc. this place has none of those. It is basically a glorified bath tub with towels. I'm bummed because my dog gets flakey skin when I don't blow him dry, and I use the blowers to get his undercoat shedding under control, not to mention I had to then drive all the way back home with wet dog smell. They did have a good selection of food and toys, although expensive, and the woman working was friendly. read more

We had a great experience hear . We had flown into pdx witch is home for us and had to pick up our dog Niko in Kalama at a off leash boarding facility so he definitely needed a bath . We had to drive to Seattle for a appointment and wouldn't be back home in time to give him a bath at home So we googled self service dog wash. Yes I have a Doberman so I don't need brushes or blow driers and I Dremel his nails at home so those things weren't a big deal not to have. But I loved the selection of unique dog toys and beds made in Nepal and benefits women there and the wool dog toys. read more

We found this shop while dining out one evening. I was very happy to have a new shop with cute dog items and healthy, environmentally conscious food/treats. We looked around and bought a bag of treats made in Portland. The next day when I opened them I noticed an overwhelming rancid smell, the smell of rancid nuts. I checked the date- which was good, and the ingredients. Nuts were listed, so I assumed that was the smell. I opted out of feeding them and called the shop. I left a message, just so the owner would be aware of this product's problem. She returned my call, leaving a message stating she would like me to bring the treats back so she could investigate the issue, and we could exchange or have a refund. This is where things went bad- we stopped in with the bag and explained we were the ones that called. The owner opened bag, looked, and smelled. She then informed us that she did not know what we did to the bag after leaving and opening them. No apology whatsoever, I would say a definite attitude. She said no refund, but we could pick another treat. We explained our hesitancy, that this would occur again. We ended up picking another brand and opening it while inside store. I have never had this kind of experience in a small, privately owned business. We love shopping local and really need more natural/holistic/healthy stores in our area, but we will never shop here again. read more
