Their prices are better than any store within 50 miles! They carry goat tender & excel & swetlix which is what we use & most places have one of these items so we were going to multiple stores. The ladies inside are so wonderful & know when I come I'm usually on an ER run or I send someone with a list & they always make sure we get what we need. Warehouse staff turns over some BUT we always know they will figure it out & load us & are friendly.

Closest place was in Seattle aside from here. These shrimp were high quality, and also reasonably priced. After two weeks, I am happy to say that my shrimp are thriving (one pictured here valiantly riding my apple snail), which pays homage to Kaija's quality of pets. As the fish guy at Kaija's knew that I had been waiting patiently for this particular breed of shrimp to come back in stock, he even gave me a small discount for my wait time. I highly recommend their store for their great customer service, reasonable prices, quality products, and knowledgeable staff.

Today I went in there, chatting it up with Samantha (who was absolutely amazing btw) she showed us where their vegetables were & talked to us about our ducks. Went to pay & told them I'm using my dads credit card, they asked me for his social which I don't know off the top of my head and have never had to use it before. I told them I'd give him a call. Shannon started freaking out saying I was trying to steal (I was only buying dog food for my dads dogs) I told her I wasn't trying to steal dog food. Ended up paying is cash because Shannon was telling me I was lying and I was never allowed back. This was so weird and something I have never encounter before. We've bought all our feed from them and even livestock but we will never be back. Shannon was the worst type of human I have ever seen and she came at me and made me feel so uncomfortable for no reason. Just trying to buy dog food lol. The only reason they got two stars is because of Samantha. She really deserved all 5 but Shannon was so horrible to us that was ruined. I have never had an issue with a sick animal or poor quality here. Because I buy aquatic animals, and don't have the space to quarantine, I need to know that what I am bringing home will be healthy and not spread disease to the rest of their new tank mates. I find that the employees here know what they are talking about when it comes to aquariums. Whether it's animals, plants, or set ups, there is always someone who can answer my questions. They also are very generous in the giving of their time. I brought in 3 water samples to compare two tanks and my straight from the tap water. This can be a time consuming process, but they took the time to help me right away and helped me compare the samples, discussing the set ups and variables. The prices are higher than big chain stores, but lower than some of the other specialty shops I frequent. I would say the extra cost is worth the higher quality.

We have a dog with a lot of extreme allergies and he spent time with me to talk about what his challenges have been and what has worked and what hasn't worked. He was researching additional solutions. Ultimately he was able to order items we were having to drive 30 minutes to go pick up previously and was able to get us better pricing and larger sizes because our dog is a great Dane! Great selection, but also goes above and beyond! The store is conveniently located in the Ace parking lot right off of Lewis River Road in Woodland. Right next-door to the Thai restaurant. She explained to us that everything in the store is at the dogs' level so they could experience the store as well. She was gracious in allowing our dog to sniff around and check everything out, and was very helpful in showing us the selection of leashes, including leashes made from recycled climbing rope, which I think is pretty cool. The employee was incredibly friendly to both the dog and the humans, and was generous with treats for our large-bread, even asking if the flavor was okay due to potential allergies. She even sent us off with a free sample bag of chicken treats. Overall, we had a great experience shopping here.

I am offended and angry to be treated so rudely.
