Great spot, it's my 2nd time here, first time was 2016 or 2017 or so... Simple and Clean with little details thought out by managers, because many economy hotels do not have a fridge or coffee maker or blow dryer but this one DOES! it has everything needed, soap, etc, and a lake view with plenty of parking. When I originally arrived heading Northbound on I-5 it was easy to get to, but if you are coming southbound you have to do kind of a U-turn over to the other side of the freeway. There is a Safeway market only one exit north of this hotel which makes it really convenient. read more

Not a bad location and kind of a cool view however almost immediately we started to see some real issues the already used roll of toilet paper the roofs Ac filter was filthy and caused us to wake extremely stuffed up the back door did not and even to open the door facing the lake too a person on the inside pulling while someone was out pushing it and the head board was broken , and the phone call from staff at 1145 pm telling us they can't let us stay another day because we had a service animal with us and didn't mention it I asked for a refund for the day they and they told my s/o would have to drive back from our where she was and they need the card hmmmmm never again . read more

For the price you cannot beet this place. Typical motel office, staff, room, and shower. But it is clean, quiet, no bugs, close to downtown, comfortable bed, and waking up to sit outside looking at the fish jump early in the morning was nice read more

There were ants in the bathroom. The view of the lake was pleasant. The owner was accommodating. Not a new building so signs of age are obvious. But the bedding was clean and I love the idea of no carpet. read more

I have stayed here a couple times on local fishing trips to the Cowlitz River It's budget priced and budget accommodations. but both visits it has been minimum acceptable for the price point of what we paid. The beds are comfy and linens appeared clean The bathroom is very small but it's a motel bathroom Very likely will stay here again on our next fishing trip read more

I booked a VERY last minute room (like within less than 3 hours) of driving from Nevada to this cute little town in Washington and they were fantastic! The room was very comfortable and clean & it had a beautiful view of the lake! The price was fantastic too! I would really recommend anyone traveling through Washington to stay here! read more

Though this hotel is an older building, it is well maintained and upgraded, with rooms at a low price range, which is refreshing. Our room was very clean and the staff (manager, front desk, housekeeping) were very nice and personable. I loved the fact that the hotel was on the lake, and was very relaxing looking out the big windows overlooking the lake. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient hotel at a very good price. They even offer breakfast each morning with cereal, waffles, muffins, toast and juice. We were very impressed. read more

My husband and I took our one year old on a quick weekend trip to Centralia to celebrate our nephew's recent nuptials. We stayed here. It was a cozy room with a view of the little lake. I particularly liked the deck access from the room if we had wanted to go outside. The beds were comfortable and high quality, there were waffles for breakfast and some other continental items, and the price was great! We dont mind staying in the lesser fancy places if it means we can have adventures. It's a homey little place. Matter of fact, Id probably give it 4 stars if the top bedspread on one of the beds didnt have a blue sticky stain on it (either toothpaste or candy) from the previous customer. I got a bad vibe from it. Everything else felt clean, but I was mighty unnerved. We didnt use the tv, but were pleased that there was a mini fridge as we travel with food often. Bathroom was comfortable and clean. Overall, we'd stay here again....unless there was evidence of the blanket not being washed again.... read more

Tried to get a much needed weekend away, and booked a room here. I had stayed there twice before over 2 years ago and so I didn't feel the need to check out my room before I went out with friends. And that was a bad mistake because by the time I got back and had time to really look at my room, the front desk was closed or I would have checked out immediately. So gross. When I first walked into the room I immediately noticed a bad smell throughout the room. Not just a musty cheap hotel room smell, but almost like cat pee. When I closed the door to lock it I noticed there were fingerprints and dirt all over the knob area. A little while later I noticed the same in the bathroom. They can't be doing very thorough covid-19 if there is dirt and fingerprints built up all over the high touch areas. When I went to go get into bed I noticed the sheets were stained! And they were so thin and worn out I could see my hand through them. The television remote was so dirty it had grime buildup around all of the buttons. The lamp shade was even stained! Also at one point I walked in front of the refrigerator and my socks were immediately wet. I realized the refrigerator was broken and leaking all over the carpet. Once I looked inside the tray that collects water under the freezer was full of hair and mildew. They are definitely not cleaning very well. I don't know what happened to this place because two years ago it was very clean. This is not the time for cleaning habits to go downhill for sure. I checked out and spent the rest of my weekend at a different motel, and if I had noticed all of this before the front desk was closed for the night I would have checked out immediately. Nice, comfortable, inexpensive motel. Friendly staff. Room was good-sized and clean with a frig, micro, TV and coffee maker - with decent coffee! Bed was comfy. There's a back door that opens onto a balcony facing a small lake. We stayed two nights while visiting the area. Only downside is traffic noise from the freeway, though that also means you can get right onto I-5. Restaurants (we had breakfast at Denny's) and other stores closeby. We would stay again. read more

This is a great little inexpensive hotel. My room was nice and clean. It's been redone sometime in the last couple years. The room has a coffee makers, refrigerator, and microwave. There is an old TV with cable. Almost all of the rooms have a door that opens on to the back balcony which faces a lake. It appears to be a man made drainage lake with a highway behind it, so it's not exactly beautiful, but it's kinda nice. I'm at the end of a cross country road trip and I booked two nights here. The staff is very friendly, I tried to check in early, but they said that the room wouldn't be ready until 2. Then I got a call at 1:15 saying my room was ready. There is a good coffee shop down the street, only problem is you can't get there by car very easily, so just walk. read more

I wasn't expecting much, but my friends told me it was acceptable. Unfortunately, it has gone downhill since last year and was so dirty. Beard shavings and toothpaste on the sink. The refreshed toiletries were literally placed on top of a sticky patch on the sink counter. The owner was very friendly but sadly they need to improve the level of cleanliness. The Motel also has some long-term residents who were very unkind to our boys who were playing around in the afternoon. Overall not a good experience here. read more

This motel was dank. We check in around 12:30 in the morning, and that's probably where anything good ended. The staff when we check in was friendly and helpful. But when we got to the room, it smelled like old animal and seemed just a little damp. My wife and I were on a road trip when we stayed and decided to sleep on a blow up mattress we had with us, rather than risk the bed. The bathroom was very small and has rust stains in some places. This motel was easily one of the sketchier motels we stayed at on our trip across the country. Do note: They have breakfast from 8-10. You have to be 21 to rent a room. read more

Just flew into the little airport in chehalis, and hit this place for the night,clean,quite and comfortable enough. Reasonably priced.

I've stayed here several times. I like the location and the rooms are clean and beds comfortable. I bring my grandchildren to stay with me and they love the free breakfast that is available. The staff is always friendly. I will continue to stay here whenever I'm in town. read more

Lakeview inn. More like meth view inn. We stayed here because we had a girls softball tournament. We knew it was cheap and that isn't what we were going g for but nothing else was available in town. Check in was fine and the guy running the place was nice enough. The room smelled like mold and old cigarettes. The door had large cracks around the edges to let in a nice cool breeze. I was disappointed, but figured we could make it work for two nights. There was dust everywhere and the bathroom was not clean. The towels were scratchy and smelled like maybe they were clean. Maybe not. I felt like there was DNA everywhere. We went to pizza in town that night after our softball games and besides the smell the beds were actually shockingly comfortable. The lake was scary and I was sure if we looked long enough we would probably spot a dead body floating around. The next day we left early and didnt come back til we had to sleep. They did replace some towels with more questionably clean towels, so that was helpful. We went to bed early for early games the next morning. Every thing seemed fine until we hear a knock at the door at 3am. I thought it must be one of our daughters who was staying in another families room. So I popped up and opened the door thinking the poor thing missed us. Instead I opened the door to a tweeked out creeper who mumbled he had the wrong room. I locked the door but felt scared he was going to break into a room With other families in it, so I went out a minute later to see if he was gone and he was just down the breezeway lurking. It was terrifying. I called the front desk and no answer. So my boyfriend went to check it out and was pissed. He opened the door and the creeper was right there. He went out in his boxers and said "get the f... out of here. Were calling the cops.". He said why? Umm what do you think you nasty a.... So he took off and of course I couldn't sleep. 10 minutes later I went outside to make sure crack head was gone and I saw some one pointing a flashlight in cars. Holy crap really. Fortunately it was actually the guy who ran the place who had been alerted to tweeky and had also told him he was calling the cops. So on the plus side the beds weren't bad and management was nice. Was it worth the price. Heck no. Never again. read more
