In any case, it was a little more spending than we would've liked, but still a nice stay.

Quality Inns anywhere can be hit or miss, and this location certainly hit! The female front desk agent actually downgraded me from a king sized room to two queen sized beds, yet I didn't care. All I wanted was a clean room. I received one on the first floor around the corner from the front desk, and had my car in view (and within 8 feet) from the window. The bathroom sink is on the outside of the bathroom (no big deal), and everything was super clean within the room. No issues with noise whatsoever. Breakfast was pretty much a grab bag that the front desk had to obtain from another room within the front. The grab bag of a breakfast sandwich, yogurt, granola bar and bottled water wasn't so terrible, given that I didn't expect much at all due to this current Covid-19 age that we are still in. The visible amenities of the outdoor pool and hottub were closed at the time. Uncertain if there is a fitness center. The property is located just off of I-5, and nextdoor to a popular burger joint. Several gas stations and other eateries, to include the small Centralia Outlet mall is nearby. I can certainly understand the angst of guests paying $150 + a night for a room during the summer of 2021. Keep in mind that heading into the Olympia, Tumwater and Lacey areas, you are going to pay a lot more. I was fortunate that I used rewards points on this visit. However, if you want to avoid paying ridiculous Olympia-priced hotel costs during the summer, I would consider this Quality Inn in Centralia 30 minutes south for the traveler just passing through like I did. Overall, not bad. B
