I understand this is Covid 19 time and people are not working, but the hotel is not worth the price. I would sooner go to Motel 6. First, when we got there, we were informed that we need $100 in cash for the security deposit. We got that for them. Next, they said because we have dogs, they need dog fees. Another 30 dollars in cash because for the entire week, their machine is down. Why don't they just come out and tell us they only take cash because they don't want to pay for credit card fees? We have to run to the bank twice for this. Ridiculous. This hotel chain is up and down I-5 now. My advice, don't stay there unless you want major hassles. They will give you coffee but it's decaffeinated only. The floor sloped. The toilet seat slid off, and the sink plugged up. read more

I wish I had taken pictures of the exterior and parking lot. The room insides are remodeled, but inferior cleanliness. The exterior--well if you are looking for a parking lot to shoot up Heroin THIS is a great hotel for you. It seems to have serveral guests that are living there. So I would say it caters to the unhoused population. I had the vibe the front desk staff was doing the nasty with one of the guests based on how they interacted. The cash deposit makes NO sense. I guess the employees need it to pay for their Heroin to get through the night--because they seem to always find a reason to keep some of the deposit according to reviews. I got Expedia to move me and I was concerned when it was Motel 6. I LOVED Centralia's Motel 6. Awesome shower, great bed with extra pillows, new tv, cool towel storage in the bathroom it seemed like they could move up to a 3 star motel. Clean, ample parking! Motel 6 also is a lower dollar price and NO deposit on card or in cash. read more

If I could give this hotel.less than 1 star I would. We unfortunately became homeless due to the sale of our home. At the time (June 28 of 2021) the OYO Centralia was the only hotel with long term space available. When we checked in, hotel staff seemed very accommodating and the price was decent. We were quoted at $1300 a month (cash only, credit/debit was more) plus a $100 cash deposit upon check in. Check.in went along with no issues. After the 1st full week there, we started being harrassed by their "long term manager" Trisha. Every single week it was something different. After a few weeks there, I did a deep.clean of my own as there was a "smell" about the room. We found dog feces under a bed as well as a crusted blanket with dried urine and feces on it from an animal, and several dog toys. I discussed this with 2 staff on duty. I was told it would be put into the notes. Also.after we were in, we found out paying weekly that it would cost us more than the "monthly" charge. In October the room price went up. The entirety of our stay, the laundry facilities (only 1 washer and 1 dryer) were ALWAYS not working properly. We were also.informed by the "long term manager" NOT so nicely one day that she would not unlock facilities on time because she was "holding them" for another guest. 2hrs later, it was still locked. We stayed there until April.10th of 2022 (a few days ago). Almost 2 weeks ago I was informed that my children, ages 11 and 14, were in rooms they were not supposed to be in. After looong discussions with the staff and my children I found another child NOT a guest there was the culprit for break ins of those 2 rooms. I paid the "fees" given to be by the staff for the rooms being used. The other child who was not a guest got off scot free, where my children and all.parents had to miss work.to go to a meeting where we were threatened by hotel.manager Tasha. We were told she "may" still press charges on my kids, we were informed not to speal.to any of HER staff, and I was told she was not a babysitter when other issues were brought up that I was not aware of. The main reasoning for us leaving this hotel was the fact that there is a child molester there (was shown to be by other hotel long term guests), there is a drug room (99% sure they are dealing), and we saw the same 2 vehicles doing drugs in the daylight hours under their "live in staffer's) room (once With her outside!). I was just going to let it all go, even after that. I took a video of my room as I handed over my key to staff as proof of how I left it (also took.stills) because I no longer trusted staff there. I was told then that she had no access to my deposit. I replied to her at that moment (WITH a guest witness) that was fine, I would try to return Monday to speak to the manager Tasha. We did not make it back over until today. Today we were told we would NOT be receiving our deposit back as "we were told by her" it had to be within 24hrs. Which we WERE NOT. I also have several photos of the shape of the hotel. AND know of other things they should probably address. The office is NOT 24hrs as stated, we have been locked out many times due to non working keys and have waited 30+ minutes for an employee to arrive. Thanks for your time. read more

DISGUSTING!!! Very disgusted with our stay. We were not in the room more than 2 minutes when we discovered there were no towels, no toilet paper the floor was filthy, it was freezing (45 outside and no heat on at all) AND the head board to the bed literally fell and hit us when we sat on the bed. A few minutes later we took a real look at the bad (all lights finally on) and the top blanket was supposed to be white but looked like it had been dragged on the dirty floor and had a ton of long brown hairs on it. We only stayed because it was 8:30pm and we chose to sleep in our clothes on top of everything. Disgusting!!! We will not be back. In fact hoping tomorrow for a refund on the room. read more

This place is filthy. You have to pay $100 nonrefundable deposit in cash. Mini fridge is split down the middle. Beds have stains and holes in them. Gun shot holes in the walls. Half the building has no power. Floors are wet and stand. The sitting chair had food stuck all over it. It looks like the room had not been cleaned or serviced in years. read more

1/2 a step above roach motel. Seriously, DO NOT EVEN ENTERTAIN THE IDEA OF STAYING HERE. I was escaping a domestic violence situation with my two young kids when I came to stay here. It was late, I was tired & low on money or else I would have just gone somewhere else. There was no latch lock on my door so I pushed the desk in front of the door to try to keep my mind at ease while sleeping. Not to judge books by their covers, but a lot of sketchy looking characters hanging about the property. Even saw an officer serving someone papers while I was leaving to go grab some food. Various stains on the bedding & shower curtain. The water was either too hot or too cold. They say they're smoke free but my room reeked of old cigarettes. The whole property stank to high heaven of pot & cigarettes. Upon checkout they had the audacity to charge me $25 from the $100 deposit because my dog got some stains on the already stained bedspread (calling it this is generous as it was just a glorified sheet) All in all, lessoned learned. Hopefully I didn't pick anything up while staying here, absolutely disgusting & I wish I could get my money back. read more

The $100 cash deposit is very odd. Honestly, I looked at the wall to see if "hourly rates" were posted! The front desk gal asked if I wanted a receipt for the $100 cash DUH ?? I asked for a ground floor room because my friend recently had hip surgery. When I saw where our room was, I noticed some characters hanging out on the sidewalk at the next room. Parking would have been around the back IN THE DARK. I went back in the office and immediately asked for a full refund and it was given to me. I DO NOT recommend staying here. We went to Holiday Inn Express in Chehalis. Very nice. Front desk gal from Quality Inn up the street recommended the OYO, since they had no available ground floor rooms. read more

This Place is by far the nastiest Motel ever. Hmmm where do i begin..the bathtub had hella hair or what looked like pubes in it. The toilet doesnt flush, the towels are the size of washcloths and they're crusty, someone stole the hdmi cord so the tv doesnt even work, someone stole the fire alarm, this place is FULL of tweakers so you cant leave your curtains open or else they'll just walk by and stare at you, you cant even walk around in the room itself without getting nasty shit all over your feet. I booked a jacuzzi room, Cheyenne checked us in and was very helpful and very nice. After we had got to our room, it was DISGUSTING. there was no toilet paper rolls. The bathroom lights and fans did NOT work. The bathtub was full of cigarette marks and burns. There was stickers and dirt all over the floor. Blood on the blankets. Spots on all the towels. And one light. Each lamp didn't have a lightbulb, and a broken switch. We had scooted the bed so we could plug in our phones, and underneath the bed was absolutely foul. Food. Spills. And what looked to be vomit. And it was all pushed under the bed. Not to mention that the jacuzzi was absolutely filled with hair. Upon checkout. It took 20 minutes of me standing and waiting in an empty lobby. Then the lady comes out and she had looked like she just woken up herself. And barely talked. I told her I was ready to check out. And she said "I'll be right back" and then just left me standing there for another 10-15 minutes. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

So me and a friend stated there for two nights they took a 100 dollar deposit when we went to check out the lady at the front desk told us she wouldn't give us a refund because we got chip dust on the sheets and a frosty on the towel its a hotel and they didnt even try Washing in she told us she is being nice by giving us half our deposit which i think going to the laundry mat would be a hell of alot cheaper then 50 dollars for some food that was washed out. read more

Worst hotel in the USA. Smelled like bacteria, found someone's DIRTY UNDERWEAR under the bed, walls are paper thin and we could hear people like they were in same room. Filthy room. We think it wasnt even cleaned prior to our stay! Shower drain was clogged with hair. It was so gross we left before bed time. Back side of hotel looked like it was being used for housing for drugged out people. Curtains hanging in weird directions and gross people everywhere. What a nightmare experience. read more

I rented a room for a week the room had no towels cable didn't work tolite seat was broke tables were dirty and floors were discusting . I wouldn't even let my dog on the floor till I cleaned it. Went and asked for towels and toilet paper. The towels they gave were stained ,old looked like cleaning rags so I used them to reclean the room, floor. And went and bought my own towels. we asked for more towels and clean blankets because we needed to wash and needed to shower . Took towels to front desk and she said what happen we said we cleaned the room it was dirty when we checked in we were tired and they didn't have rooms ready well the lady at the front desk happened to be the one that cleaned the room so I think she got upset because the towels were pretty dirty because she said I was the one that cleaned the room and my boyfriend said well it was pretty dirty so we really cleaned it to our liking and she goes well you guys are going to have to pay for these I'm going to have to show my manager so my boyfriend said well if you give us back the towels we will soak them tonight and bleach and ring them out in the morning then you guys can wash them and she said no what's done is done so I told him here take them these brand new white fluffy towels in exchange for their old towels and the lady wouldn't do it she said no what's done is done you're just going to have to pay for it out of your deposit the towels that they had were so old that I don't even think Goodwill would sell them and they charged us $80 for some dirty towels that we used to clean their room that they said they cleaned we offer them two brand new white fluffy towels along with two hand towels and a washcloth and they wouldn't take it they said we don't know where these been they could have covid or said are you serious look at your towels they probably do have covid you could tell these towels are brand new and she said what's done is done no she's going to have to show her manager and we're going to have to take it up with them that $100 deposit was all we had to our name we had to leave there with $20 10 for gas and 10 to eat between two adults I've never seen a brand new towel in that motel ever since it's been here I could see if the towels were worth 80 bucks that we ruined supposedly but they weren't we even offered brand new ones in exchanged that look like the kind you would see at the Holiday inn and they denied it.how you going to charge somebody $80 for some old towels that they look like you used to wash your car or to work on your car when they're not even worth five bucks total rip off I could not believe it so angry had to pay 80 bucks for some towels I swear you would not even see at Goodwill or visiting nurses for sale shame on them they should be ashamed of theirselves I don't know how they get away with it absolutely disgustinggoing back in the morning to speak with the manager or the owner hopefully to get our deposit back even going to take in hand to brand new towels to brand new hand towels in a brand new washcloth in exchange for $80 I'll let you know what happens read more

This place was HORRIBLE...dirty, broken furniture, uncleaned rooms. The grounds were dirty, doors didnt properly seal, weird smell in room, mini fridge was warm. The "staff" was messy looking and rude, there were homeless people all over the grounds of the property. I contacted the company and was told 47 days ago I would be refunded and they still have yet to return my money and everytime I contact them theres a new excuse as to why I havent been refunded. read more

My husband and I stayed here the last two nights. WARNING: DO NOT EXPECT A ROOM THAT IS EVEN REMOTELY SIMILAR IN APPEARANCE TO THE PICTURES! For work purposes we have stayed in the OYO in Chehalis and have been satisfied. Our last stay ended up being almost 2 weeks. The rooms were clean, staff friendly and helpful. We decided to stay at the OYO in Centralia thinking our experience would be similar. Far from it. On the positive side the room was much larger and I prefer the carpet free floor. The fridge needed badly to be defrosted. The chunk of ice prevented us from using the top shelf. The floor was so dirty that our feet turned black. There was hair and god knows what else caked in the baseboard, pills on the floor, ashes in the bed and both drawers. The toilet had dried something on it and if you wanted to shower your water temperature choice was cold or scalding. Additionally, we requested an additional blanket the first night but didn't get one until we had to ask for clean towels since the hotel cleaning staff didn't check on us the 2nd day. I have personally worked in a hotel and I would have been fired had I ignored or not been attentive to paying guests. Also, there was no way to tell staff from guests. As we were leaving a woman passed us, I said hello and she glared at me and just kept on walking. I mentioned to my husband that that was rude only to find out shortly she was the front desk employee. read more

Also seemed to be bullet holes in the walls they didn't even change the sheets for crying out loud I saw black hair on the pillow and black hairs in my bed. Also they didn't even put towels in the bathroom. absolutely disgusting!!! never stay here!!! spend the extra $15 and get something clean and comfortable. the beds are as hard as a rock, there were no towels, the worst part is that there were black hairs all over in our beds and on the pillow. there was a bug in the bathroom. the curtains were broke. the phone didn't work. no pictures, just spackle everywhere. black hairs all over floors. my husband complained politely in the morning and they told him that they would call police and have him escorted out if we didn't leave the property. complete trash! please do not stay here. read more
