This is a very average Chinese buffet. The food tastes just like what you expect. The service was good. The interior could use some sprucing up, but it doesn't affect the quality of the food or service. I did not purchase from the menu, but my son loved the lo mein, so I expect that we will be back to place a menu order to go. read more

Buffet open until 2. Every Chinese restaurant is unique & this is no exception. Food quality was good. Not as spicy or sweet as others but was flavorful enough to enjoy everything. Hot & Sour soup was spicy and chocked full of veggies. Small bowl was big!! The fried rice is unique but I really liked the flavor. Egg roll is tiny (and doughy inside). That was fine since there was so much food for lunch. I ordered a to-go lunch serving of Curry Chicken. I was surprised that it only had rice & main dish, no egg roll or soup like what I got for my meal I ordered at the table. I will remember next time to specify steamed rice since I was never asked, and it came out with fried rice for both meals. Appearance of the restaurant-It's showing its age both in/out but it's clean. My overall take is that it's not my favorite Chinese restaurant but when I'm having a hankering for Chinese, I won't hesitate to eat here. read more

Great Wall - Lunch Curry Chicken- to go- not the curry flavor I'm accustomed to. Veggies are fresh and crispy. - Chinese Near Me - Port St Joe, Florida

Had the lunch buffet during a random week day, the buffet is small but everything tasted great. Better than much larger buffets in PC and the price was good. The woman working sat us immediately and kept the tables clean/refilled drinks quickly. Definitely recommend to someone looking for decent Chinese American food. read more

I finally decided to get takeout from the Great Wall. Should have waited another ten years. I got sick within the hour after eating the General Tso chicken. My wife got sick 3 hours later. Now I know. The people working there were pleasant. read more

First time visiting and the food was good. Orange chicken and Mongolian beef. I put it above average and for sure will be back. Not sure why we haven't come before but will for sure put in the normal rotation! read more

Excellent service and food. Very plentiful. I had pork with Chinese vegetables and 2 spring rolls. Delicious!

Only Asian place in town, a little expensive but hey, that's the price you pay when you get close to the beach. Food was decent, not great, not bad. Will return for my next Chinese fix. read more

I've seen a lot of poor reviews on this place, but I can't agree with any of them. I went there and got the buffet, and all the food was wonderful. The restrooms are very clean, and the whole place is clean. It's a wonderful Chinese restaurant, and it had very friendly staff. read more

Usually Yelp is right, so even though I've lived here since August, I have avoided this place because of the rating. However, we ordered chicken and vegetables, sweet-and-sour chicken, and chicken fried rice this evening, and it was delicious and fresh. The chicken was white meat with not, and the veggies were not overcooked. We will definitely be adding this to our dinner list. read more

My husband decided to give this place another try after more than 10 years but it was still horrible with poor quality meat which did not seem fresh. The chicken had a lot of fat and was chewy. The Mongolian beef had mostly onions and the flavor was very bland. We threw most of it away. We like to support local, but I just can't eat here again. read more

I hardly ever eat out Chinese, this is one time I thoroughly enjoyed it... We ended up eating here after I first choice was way too packed to wait for. Just 700 feet down the road it was a pleasant walk and surprised. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient - never was an empty drink and the food came out hot and fast. I had their chicken and cashews and enjoyed it through the last bite while the big group I came with had everything from their sushi to the Mongolian beef - not a single complaint or unhappy eater to find. Though not our first choice, I was reminded that sometimes your next best might actually be the best thing to have. read more

Was a bit concerned ordering take out given wonky Yelp reviews. We order steamed dumpling, hot/sour soup, Szechuan chicken and beef. All were very fresh and flavorful. Lunch buffet also in place. Not sure if this is the case after tourist high season. Would not hesitate to eat here again. read more

Had dinner delivered the service was quick and courteous. The food was also delicious and hot. I always enjoy the Great Wall's food.

Mall Chinese food, at sit down Chinese restaurant prices. I've weeded through most of the menu and I'd recommend the sesame chicken if you're hell bent on having Chinese food. Otherwise, there are some really good restaurants within a few hundred yards. read more

Terrible food and service; dirty restaurant ........... Nasty bathrooms, had to ask for everything read more

i ordered take out. Service was fine. I was taken aback by then prices, at least a third higher than what I am used to. The food was tasty, but minimal meat, and the egg roll I ordered was literally 2" long. I guess that is how things are now? Jeesh. read more

This was the worst service I have gotten in a long time. The duck I order was good. But the chicken was under cook. I told them about it and they took the food and still charge me for it. I had to go back to the waitress two times and ask for refills. read more

Thankful for The Great Wall's Delivery! We called and requested contactless delivery and paid over the phone. Food arrived quickly and hot on our door step! Takeout is always quick, hot, and delicious! read more

Simply put this is the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I'm Chinese myself and LOVE American Chinese food. I eat American Chinese all the time whether it be at food court or a random shop on the road, but If you are craving chinese food and just vacationing here, just hold off till you get else where. The owners are friendly, but I'm giving this place 1 star for the food alone. We ordered 2 different chicken wings, Mongolian beef, and beef with duh broccoli. The chicken wings were overly salty and was not crispy. The beef had the same flavor on these 2 different dishes and was very chewy. Kinda tasted like the beef I tried to make: it sucked ass..... Maybe I came here on a off day, but bottom line is don't come here. Food just sucks read more

Being the only Chinese restaurant in town they don't have to be exceptional. Which is good because the food was far from it. But focusing on the positives: 1. This place was open at 11am on Sunday. 2. It is a buffet, or at least it is at the time we went. Having a buffet is crucial if you serve subpar food so I was pleased that I could get plate after plate of what I assume was either chicken or pork. Couldn't tell for sure. That pretty much sums it up. If it's early afternoon on Sunday and you need a sodium fix for less than $8 this place is a great value and is a decent start to a week long cleanse. read more

Fresh, fast, and yummy. Everything was well prepared, flavored, and in good portions. Great for adults and kids alike. Had egg drop soup, steamed dumplings, lo mein, fried rice, and sesame chicken. Also, clean restrooms! read more

Glad I didn't read reviews before trying this place! I would never have tried it and would have missed out on some great Chinese food. I have no idea about the buffet, but the takeout was probably the best Chinese takeout I've ever had. One thing I really love is the option to upgrade your steamed rice individually with each entree. So instead of having to order a full house fried rice or house fried lo mein, we were able to just pay for an upgrade and try both. We had the shrimp tempura appetizer, the coconut shrimp, and Mongolian beef. Everything seemed freshly prepared and was very good. They didn't skimp on the meat and just fill the dish with veggies...there was plenty of substance to the dishes. The meat was tender and flavorful in the Mongolian Beef. The Coconut Shrimp was absolute perfection. The house fried rice was good, but not something I'd rave about...it was just fine. But the house lo mein was fantastic. The food was even good reheated the next day. We'll definitely be back. read more

i ordered sesame "chicken" with no sauce, honestly it looks like fried pig penises. the fried rice and egg rolls were okay, i really couldn't bring myself to try the chicken. read more

This place gives Chinese food a bad name. Maybe I went on the wrong day but the food was awful. The rice seemed stale. The shrimps were cooked in too much batter and they were not deveined!!!! I had one piece of pork in my entire serving of rice. read more

Rock solid buffet joint, probably best one for 100 miles. Not sure if there is another place in St Joe where you can get basically limitless fish, sushi, and frog legs. Looked around at some other places downtown for a quick bite to eat, but they wanted an arm and a leg. Plus they gave us some weird vibe when we told them we're out for some Chinese buffet. Less than 8 bucks gets your belly filled and out the door. If I had to pick at something it'd be the fortune cookie seemed a little stale but other than that can't complain. Fun trying to play guess the dessert, I never won! Keep up the good work guys . read more

No love or care here just fast fodder - Chinese takeout at its worst.

The only game in town for Chinese food. The portions are good and I have never had any issues with the quality of the food. The lunch buffet is small but the food is good. They are the only restaurant that delivers in this town. read more

Worst chineese buffet ever! They never have enough food on buffet. That's the second time that's happened to me. I've only been there twice. There won't be a 3rd time. Terrible place to go to if you're hungry. read more

Pork Fried Rice is always a must here, but the crispy duck is good, & any curry dish is good as well. Try the dumplings fried. Nice Portions

Fair buffet for the money. Not a lot of choices. Dessert was pitiful. But if you are hungry like we were, it's worth a stop.

I eat here about once a month. I don't know what the deep-fried stuff is like because I don't order it. What I do know is that any not-deep-fried shrimp dish you order will be fresh and good. I also recommend the salt-and-pepper chicken, the Mongolian beef, and just about anything stir-fried. Portions are large, prices are good, and given the choices in Port St. Joe (Hungry Howie's anyone?) it is definitely reasonable. read more

Good, tasty Chinese good. Great hours..seem to always be open when nothing else is. I have eaten here several times and been pleased. I would definitely recommend. read more

Ordered Szechuan chicken which was maybe 2.5-3 out of 5. Hot and sour soup was pretty good. Another in our party got shrimp fried rice which he said was awesome. The rest got chicken lo mein and said it was some of the best they'd ever had. Many bad reviews but I'm assuming that was from the buffet because I at least tasted some of every dish we ordered and they were all very good. read more

This is pretty good place. The waiters are Chinese which is cool. The buffet was good. It had good noodles, meat, sushi, and the coconut shrimp is the best. And I recommend if you love Chinese to give this place a try. read more

I like Great Wall and go there regularly. Favorites are the chicken chow mein and vegetable dishes and the fried rice.
