I checked the Google reviews and realized they only had 4.1 stars, unfortunately their rating wasn't as low in the Uber app. I called the restaurant to inquire about their refund policy. I told them that the teriyaki was disgusting. The girl asked me if I ate any of it. How would I know it was gross, if I hadn't tasted it first? She said everyone has different tastes, but that if there was nothing wrong with it there would be no refund. I said ok, that's fine, but I will be writing a very thorough review on every platform. So here is one of several reviews that I will be posting. I know a lot of military people in this area, and I plan to make sure they all know not to eat at Thai Saim.

As a foodie, I finally found an authentic Chinese restaurant in this area! 331 Noodles is a gem. They make their own dumplings, baozi, and noodles, all of which are fresh and incredibly tasty. We started with the sweet and sour pork rib and crispy pork for appetizers--both were amazing, but the sweet and sour rib was absolutely addictive! The brown sugar bubble tea had a great flavor without being overly sweet, which I loved. The garlic shrimp noodle soup and braised beef noodle soup are must-tries. The chicken fried rice was delicious, and the dumplings and pan-fried buns are a must-have. The restaurant is clean, the service is friendly. It is incredibly watery and the curry has no viscosity or thickness to the sauce. It is the consistency of soup not curry. Twice now the panang curry has been watery. We asked for this one to be made less watery and it came out the same. When we called the owner they told us the chef didn't charge us for adding extra coconut milk. If this had extra coconut milk then I hate to see what it would have been like without it. We have been eating and making Thai food for over 30 years and was very excited when Granny and Son came locally. We have strongly supported them through all of their challenges, closures etc. Nobody is more unhappy about this than we are but I can't keep spending money on food that doesn't match what it once did. In addition to the food being thin and watery we asked both times for the other food to be mild. Both times it has been spicy. This is based off what mild has always been since they opened. We didn't call to get money back, or to simply complain. We called because we were loyal customers. Unfortunately they take the side of their new chef over previous customers. Hope they figure it out. Can't spend money on watery food.

The best item on the platter was the chicken on a stick, which wasn't all bad. My moo shu pork was flavorless and overcooked, with not a bit of texture left in the vegetables. My husband's beef and vegetables that were supposed to have spice added were bland even to me and I am very sensitive to spicy food. But I will say at least his vegetables were not overcooked. Oh, and we also ordered two bags of fried crispy noodles... Which were stale and had the texture of cardboard. To add insult to injury, we didn't even get fortune cookies. I know there's not a lot of competition in this town, but that's no excuse not to "Do Better". After spending almost $50 with a tip, to be honest, we feel like we were rode hard and put away wet. Worst of all, I'm still craving Chinese cuisine, but I'm afraid to try the local competition again at this point. I can only take so much disappointment.
