The food is like what you get at most Chinese restaurants but it takes an hour to get a Togo order. You pay when you go in so you are stuck waiting for food. Not worth the wait. DoorDash orders are prioritized over others. read more

We had Chinese for our family Christmas party with kids and grandkids. I placed the order when they opened and in less than 30 minutes they had everything prepared and ready to go. I ordered 4 of the family meals (which has 4 dishes each) along with 4-5 other add-ons. They were especially friendly and happily accepted the large order.... Even threw in a couple of freebies. Slightly above average for local Chinese food in the Lynn Haven, FL area. Prices were a bit lower than most of the Chinese places in the area and portions were good I've never eaten in the restaurant (I always get takeout) but it seems to have a nice atmosphere. Ordered honey chicken with fried rice, sweet n sour chicken with white rice, and 2 egg rolls. No white rice and I received yellow rice. Both chicken was very dry, the yellow rice was over cooked, and the eggs rolls were gross n soggy. Some of the honey chicken was very over cooked. Food was just gross !!! read more

I haven't dined in here yet, but my hubby and I will drive all the way out here just to get Chinese food. This is the only spot that knows how to make everything I ordered from them every time taste so good! Hahaha. We got Chinese from them at least 4-5 times. We will do the 25 minute drive and pass multiple Chinese spots just to get food from them, way better than getting food from Panda Express when you want Chinese. We used to come and sit and eat our food but for some reason somebody decided they needed to dump a bunch of mothballs In the building to kill something or run something off. Apparently the people who work there have nose blindness: Nose blindness is a temporary, naturally occurring adaptation of your body that leads to an inability to detect or distinguish common scents in your surroundings. It's sometimes also referred to as olfactory fatigue or olfactory adaptation. Nose blindness is often associated with areas where we spend a lot of time. Walked in and asked for something good with veggies. Walked out with garlic chicken with a lot of veggies, fried rice, and an egg roll for $7. And it's really good and hot, took maybe 6 minutes for them to make it. Fast service, great food, great price. read more

It's a very small, family owned restaurant that serves excellent food. Their egg rolls, in particular, are a "must have" but no matter what you order it'll be cooked to order and served by very friendly, helpful people. We make it a point to go there often. read more

While this place is very convenient, the food is somewhat bland and lacking in flavor & spices. We ordered the Shrimp Lo Mein, Beef & Broccoli and the Wonton Soup which had some terribly overdone wontons which made it pretty unappetizing. Also, no fortune cookies! Food was okay, they didn't have sweet sour pork, so had to get chicken, but that was not main issue. They packed such a huge order into a single paper bag and because of this the wonton soups leaked out and made an absolute huge mess. What's the point of packing do much in one bag? Red Star is consistent. For "fast food generic chinese" it's the best I've had in PC. Chicken/beef/house lo mein, fried dumplings, fried wontons, egg drop soup, wonton soup, general Tso's all good. They are rather quick also. This is 4 star in PC anywhere else that has local Asian this would be a 2 star. read more

Honestly my favorite Chinese food restaurant. The honey chicken is my favorite, I also enjoy the bourbon chicken and the shrimp fried rice. The steamed dumplings are perfect (and the cheese wantons!). My girlfriend ordered the pu pu platter appetizer, we got our food and no app. She asked the waiter if it was coming and told her she never ordered it and THEN said they didn't have the items to make it. The food is really good. Not just "Chinese takeout good"...but straight-up tasty restaurant good. The General Tso's, the cashew chicken, and the dumplings are our favorites. The portions are generous and the food is full of flavor. The service ranges from semi-slow to snappy-quick, depending on the day. Well. The service is okay. They have a Japanese and a traditional American Chinese selection. The steak was from a very tough cut of meat. The chicken was an odd texture. My dude and I just moved to the city from the Beach. He's a Mexican food fan, but I am always on the lookout for the best Chinese food. I did that on the Beach and am on my quest now that we've moved. Never found anything too impressive there and am still looking here. Anyway... we ordered the spring rolls (eh). and egg drop soup. (Typical, but okay. Kinda hard to screw up egg drop soup, right?) For our entree we had the General Tso's Chicken, (okay, but not spicy at all), and last, but not least the Happy Family chef's specialty. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of seafood in it. It came with Chinese veggies which were cooked nicely, not hammered to death like some of the places I've been. All cooked in a nice rich brown sauce. Would we order from here again? Not yet, until we try some other Chinese restaurants. However, if you need a fix, there are much worser ;) places. It was delivered fast, hot and inexpensively. Okay, a little secret... we're almost old. I have ALS. We don't dine out much, so thank goodness for doordash, because we do like to order in.
