Came here on a weekend with some coworkers and was promptly seated on a Saturday evening. The place was pretty busy considering the population of the area. I really liked the ambiance on the patio with the tiki torches lit up at night. We ordered smoked yellowfin tuna dip, calamari, and Jalapeno poppers for the table. We were mainly here for drinks. The calamari and jalapeno poppers were good. The smoked yellowfin tuna dip was awful. It tasted like canned tuna salad. I also had a sand blaster which is their signature drink with 151 and it was pretty good. A little sweet but I would order it again. No complaints about the service. Our waitress was really sweet.

We split the seafood platter, which was plenty for both of us. Our service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. Our seat overlooked the beach and was in the sunshine. Great ambiance! Afterwards we walked through the bar and out to the beach for a sunset stroll.

Great beachfront seafood restaurant with a large outdoor patio and tiki bar! Shared a fried seafood platter which was perfect for two. The grouper was delicious. Also came with scallops, shrimp, crab cake, oysters and a choice of two sides. Great service and fun atmosphere!

Food was not very good. Wasn't blow away by anything. Grouper imperial had no flavor but I heard grouper old school is better. Cheese grits were also bland and had no flavor. Edamame, calamari, and oysters were just ok. Crab claws were actually pretty good. The frozen coconut mojito though was so delicious, most of the drinks were delicious! Great outdoor bar area to grab a drink while on the beach. Service was good. We met part- owner George and he was so nice and kind.

Seafood and drinks with a nice view. Good food and nice waitstaff. Good place for a dozen and a local brew. It can get very busy during high season, expect a wait.

I really loved this spot. Also the seating was the best it's right in front of the beach I wanted to keep this one a secret but you guys must try 10 out of 10 highly recommended ! Theres also an entrance directly to the beach after eating if you want to walk .

Poor Service, But Amazing Food We were told we'd be seated next, but instead, three other families--each with the same number of people--were seated ahead of us. It felt like we were completely ignored after being told to wait "just a few more minutes." When we finally got a table, the food was amazing. I got the grilled shrimp, my mom had the chicken tenders, and my Mimi got the Goliath strips--everything was delicious. Just wish the service had matched the quality of the food. Mixed experience overall.

If you're looking for the best raw oysters in Florida, look no further. I mean it. After trying oysters at just about every restaurant I can, Blue Parrot is the uncontested #1 favorite. The view from the outdoor seating area onto the beach was spectacular. The service was excellent. And the food was so good that we came back twice in one weekend. Cannot recommend enough.

3rd time here this week! We love Blue Parrot! Food is consistent and service is great. Watch out for those 151 floaters on a few drinks - they will get you!

An authentic beach bar and restaurant....we went for lunch as it had been recommended by locals. Service was great, food was good, but the beach and view were the best. I got the fish tacos (grouper - grilled) and they were a good choice. The fish dip was a bit Smokey and fishy if that's what you're looking for.

Love to sit on the lower deck or at the tiki bar. The beach cams are cool for family and friends to see you. The drinks are not strong- but they have a lot of variety. Fisb dip was really fishy. Sandblaster is amazing. Strong and delicious. I also love a Miami Vice.

Great beach front restaurant and definitely the best on the island. Took our staff to a holiday lunch and was a party of 10. We were immediately seated (no reservation needed) with phenomenal views of the beach and Gulf. Server was quick to take the order and kitchen was prompt in preparation. Everyone loves their food! I had the burger and can't wait to go back and have another one. With a fish allergy it is hard to find good non-seafood in this seafood town BUT this burger hit the spot and was thick, not oily, not burnt, no fish taste, not salty, and easy to manage. Loved it. Everyone else cleaned their plates and had nothing but good things to say. My almost 2 granddaughter loved the view and if up to her, would have spent all her time on the beach. Definitely returning!

We were so impressed that we recommended this place to multiple people and were genuinely excited to come back last Sunday. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete disappointment from start to finish. The service was noticeably worse, the beer selection was extremely limited compared to before, and the food was honestly some of the worst seafood we've had in years. We ordered the fried calamari and the mixed grilled seafood plate. The calamari was chewy, flavorless, and the batter had an unpleasant texture. The mixed seafood plate was even worse - the oysters looked, smelled, and tasted awful, and the fish, shrimp, stuffed crab and scallops were completely bland. Even the fried okra, which should be an easy Southern staple, was disappointing. We left wondering if they changed chefs or management because the difference from our first experience was shocking. Even my mom, who is far from a picky eater, could barely eat her food. It's genuinely upsetting because this used to be a place we loved and enthusiastically recommended to others. Sadly, after this experience, we won't be returning.

We had been camping at Torreya State Park but unfortunately, my ankle wasn't living up to expectations. Rather than put ourselves in a precarious situation, my wife got us reservations in Apalachicola and we drove down. We almost went to a little more upscale place, but as soon as I saw Hole in the Wall seafood, I changed my mind. Yes, it's a hole in the wall, but the best kind. Inviting, homie, Kitchie, and down to earth. The decor consists of hats donated by patrons. There are several wooden tables, including some large ones and a good sized bar. We opted for the bar. Cliff, the owner, is a former molecular biology professor and a fellow Hoosier. We noticed the oysters being shucked and they looked fresh and massive. We started off with a dozen raw oysters, a pound of their Cajun peel and eat boiled shrimp, and two grouper and oyster combo baskets with fries and hush puppies. Everything was outstanding. We ended up getting another dozen oysters. They were plump, sweet, and undeniably fresh. The peel and eat shrimp were amazing. They weren't just the typical throw some old bay on and dump a ton of butter in variety. The flavor was unique and rich. I joked with Cliff that I thought about drinking the juice and he said he had people order bread just to sop it up with. The fried grouper and oysters were outstanding. Big, flaky chunks of grouper, perfectly breaded and fried. The breading was just right. Light and crisp. Not heavy or greasy and the least. Ryan, the young man shucking the oysters, is obviously an expert, and each oyster was perfectly shucked. The beer selection is small, but excellent. I recommend the Oyster City Hooter Brown Ale and the Estrella Jalisco if you're in the mood for something a bit lighter. I can't say enough good things about this place. We'll be back... tomorrow.
