I had driven by here many times but just recently noticed the wood fired pizza sign. I actually…read morepulled over and turned round to check it out. I had been to the food truck for a breakfast sandwich which I really likes a couple years ago but somehow it got off my radar. I love wood fired and coal fire pizza and when I walked in it smelled so good. Many gluten free cookies and cake . They offer gluten free pizza crust. They pizza is not available till 4:00 so I went home and called in an order after 4. We got the sausage abs caramelized onion pizza we really liked this it was a little bit greasy but the flavor was perfect. We also got a white pizza with chicken and broccoli which was very good crispy on the top and bottom. We also tried a slice of cheese pan pizza which reminded me of Slab pizza which is an favorite of ours . It was great to find great pizza out in this area of town and not to have to go into the Old Port. We also tried the peanut butter and jelly cookie $3.00 a new favorite. The bakery items are something I will return to try out . Happy to have found this plac

Nice picnic area. Plenty of parking. Lots of items on the menu that looked tasty. Unfortunately,…read morethe three of us had lobster rolls. First, the meat wasn't dressed with mayo. It was some type of an aioli that gave the meat a very funky looking pinkish red color. I could not discern what was in the aioli, it was a fairly non distinct mixture. The lobster meat smelled a bit fishy. This wasn't just my impression, but all three of us commented the same thing. This was not enough for me not to eat it, but clearly, it was a bit unusual. We also tried the roasted Brussel Sprouts, they were decent, with another aioli, that equally had no spice kick, or discernible flavor. All said, kind of meh...I will give it three stars on potential. The menu looked good...I'll give it another try and skip the lobster roll.

Yet another food truck we visited tonight during the food truck event in Westbrook. With so many…read moregood options we had to grab things from a few different trucks. This was actually our last stop before leaving which means we grabbed dessert here. My wife loves blueberries, her absolute favorite fruit. We both love cheesecake for dessert so when I spotted this truck had blueberry cheesecake Eggrolls we knew we needed it. Despite being our last stop and it being dessert it technically was the first food we settled on getting, so before we were able to try it we had to figure out our dinners. I will say though, we did not try anything but they also had a large amount of dinner offerings too. Including smash burgers, steak and cheese, chicken sandwiches, mozzarella sticks, crab rangoon eggrolls, and more. Those will need to wait til the next time we see this truck but what we saw from others getting it looked good. This was one of the busiest trucks of the entire event at least when we were there so I think that speaks volumes. Friendly service with minimal wait, you did get a beeper so you could check out the other trucks which is a plus. The worker/likely owner also mentioned how good the pizza food truck is that I grabbed a pizza from. Nice to hear the support from one food truck for another! They also appear to from name and website to do catering for weddings and events as well as offer mobile bar service for events too. Lastly onto what we tried, the blueberry cheesecake eggrolls. They were like fried dough eggrolls of blueberry goodness. Plenty of cream cheese filling and blueberries that were the perfect dessert to end our meal! We will be keeping an eye out for this food truck. Great variety of offerings!

I couldn't be more grateful to have them as my caterer and it was a blessing in disguise for the last minute change! I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of my wedding, they showed up early, had everything set up and served on time and the service was wonderful. The food was so delicious and the charcuterie board was the most beautiful charcuterie I've ever seen!! I cannot thank you both enough!

We have been wanting to try Black Salt food truck for a few months now. Luckily they were at Black…read morePub brewery in Brunswick which is dog friendly inside and out and a place we like to go. We had the onion rings and fried pickles to start and the Buffalo chicken sandwich, and the Korean BBQ chicken sandwich. Everything was great and flavorful. The onion rings are awesome with the Sriracha mayo. The buns are so yummy. For $4 we added extra chicken which made our sandwich Huge and extra yummy. They offer a meatless option as well and gluten free bun.

So when I found out that Black Salt was out on national fried chicken day and they were parked out in front of one of my favorite breweries in Portland, my attendance was mandatory. I'd heard of Black Salt before and was excited to see what the fuss was about. Apparently the fuss about how good their food is 100% on the money. My entire experience was pleasant. The staff communicated upfront that it was going to take a bit longer than normal because they had just replenished their oil and it needed to get back to the desired temp. This issue was compounded by a few orders coming in at the same time. All is said, I appreciated the heads up and in fairness, the wait was still less than 15 minutes (enough time for a refreshment). In the end, the sandwiches were delicious, the buns had integrity (deliciously soft but strong enough to hold up while eating), and the toppings/sauces were out of this world! I will be back time and time again with friends and family and my fried chicken sandwich squad when they come to visit Portland! On a follow up trip to Black Salt, I got the chance to visit my wife while she was at class at UNE to enjoy some DELICIOUS fried chicken!
