It doesn't take much to treat a customer right to build loyalty and advocacy. But when the customer has been wronged, they will go out of their way to take their business elsewhere. My wife and daughter have asthma, so I select retail businesses based on their ability to keep my family safe and healthy through protective measures. Here's a brief description of what I saw: The store had a great check-in policy to limit the number of customers in at one time. Masks were in place. Unfortunately mask use by the (again helpful!) staff was not fully correct. Many were wearing masks under the bridge of the nose for instance. Loose masks can be fixed with ear savers or by turning the ear loops one twist over. The checkout line could also be a little crowded due to the layout (You have to pass within 6 feet of someone who is at the first register to get to the second or third register). If the shelving could be reconfigured to allow more space in the last row at the registers that would help. So again high marks for all the normal things. A couple simple changes could really improve my perception of safety in the store.
