It looked scrumptious and if it had tasted as good as my eyes said it should I would be going back for more. But it was a disappointment. I wanted chocolate chip oatmeal but the clown behind the counter said she wouldn't help me with the cookies behind the counter (those are for individual sale only!) for a 6 pack and told me the ones on the table are "fresh" well that's just great but if you don't label your cookies how do I know if I'm getting the chocolate chip or the crappy Carmel chocolate chip. The sandwiches we got here were good however the service was incredibly slow especially for a slow Saturday afternoon. There were never more than two other people in the store. My elderly wheelchair bound mother had to go to the bathroom but theirs is not open to the public which wouldn't have been so bad except for the extreme wait. At last I said I would put my mother in the car and be right back and when I returned for some reason someone who came in after me got their sandwich order. I've ordered twice for delivery, both times the orders were messed up. The 2nd one never arrived after 2 days. The customer service is abysmal. I was blamed for my order not arriving when it was promised, on the web site, when I did exactly as the website instructed. What a horrible way to run a business. Don't offer deliveries, if you can't provide them in a timely manner. Or, at the very least, update your website to state that you won't get your order for upwards of 4 days! read more

We've bought Great Harvest bread for years, and generally have been pleased with what we've bought. I was in recently and bought five loaves of bread in three varieties. There were plenty of two of the varieties, and only one loaf of a cinnamon nut pull apart bread. The four loaves were excellent. But the one loaf of pull apart bread that was sitting by itself away from the others was dry and tasted old. We were very disappointed I. could i give this a zero star rating? bad owner, went in for interview and had to be interviewed standing up. which is never a good idea, felt faint, almost passed out and had to sit down on a stool, and barely was helped. They even stated i looked really pale, The owner kept on interviewing even though i stated i couldn't see or hear well and was seeing spots, and said that "i don't think you're lying" "do you think she's lying?" in a very condescending tone to his coworker, i was absolutely mortified that it was happening, and again it never ever has happened to me in an interview ever before. I sat there for 30 minutes and the whole time he was still interviewing me. Constantly heard that he is about making his workers feel like family and yet i never got a courtesy call when they said they would call me either way if i got it or not. Just visited the bakery for the first time in several months in that we had been out of the Salem area only to discover that the franchisee had increased the price for its Three Cheese Garlic Bread to a whopping $10.25 per loaf! That's close to a 25% increase from the last time that I purchased this product. Yay, I've found a wonderful bakery in Salem, actually a chain bakery here. All the Great Harvests in Salem always seem to be busy and bustling with customers. They always offer samples, huge slice of bread (more like a free large snack than a sample, if you as me, haha). They make their breads fresh each morning and have so many delicious flavors! I've been looking all over for a place that sells uber-duber soft bread flavored with various spices. Great Harvest is exactly what I've been looking for!
