They quoted me three different prices and when I got to the salon, the lady said that I was late and had to wait even though I had checked in and there was only a zero minute wait time Why are their services on the website to be offered that they are not willing to give? We have used Great Clips for several years. My son was devastated over his haircut today. An oriental person who seemed not to understand, and it was so bad I had to fix it! He was considering staying home instead of being with church friends because he was embarrassed! It was uneven all over and cut extremely short. I walked in after putting my name on the waiting list. I was there at the perfect time following the wait time. There was a little bit of a wait after arrival. I asked the stylist if she can do a flat top. She assured me that she could. When I was done, I saw no flatness and neither did she use the clipper. I don't think I have ever saw a flat top given using shears. Now I am a week out and for sure does not look anything like a flat top. Looks more like a short hair cut like I would normally get. I went to get my hair cut and I already had long layers and I wanted the dead end cut off and I asked to keep the long layers but the lady cutting my hair acted as if she had never done it before and ended up looking like a five-year-old just took a big cut at my hair at the end I had no layers. don't go here. I have been going to this place faithfully for 5 years. I went in there today (masked) and I asked if I could use the restroom prior to getting a haircut and they refused. They wined, "We have to clean the restroom every time someone uses it, so the owner closed it to 'the public'." The public? Really? I am (or was) a loyal customer who is well known to the staff and always tipped well. I was the only customer there. Interesting how this is the only business I've been to during the pandemic with closed restrooms. This is a blatant example of "marketing myopia." I wish ill will toward no one, but if they want to stay in business the owner needs to rethink this policy, especially now. I will take my business and my money to a salon that "gets it." Brought my daughter to get a shampoo, trim and flat iron. While I simply wanted a shampoo and flat iron. They could not accommodate us both at once. They only have a single flat iron in the facility. Then a lady next to my daughter did a short cut but the technician could not set her hair as they are out of hairspray. What hair salon doesn't have flat irons and hairspray.... After grocery shopping, on the spur of the moment I saw this shop and decided to give it a try for a simple trim. I walked in and the manager and an employee was having a heated argument up front over the money at opening, accusations of stealing. I'm not sure which was the manager. I brought my young son in to get a five min haircut...at checkout I left a 30% tip...she then corrected me and told me to leave a larger tip. I was shocked, and complied. I went to this shop as there was an offer for haircuts. i had an asian lady approach me (thinner long brown haired)... told her i just needed a trim on my layers and to maintain the length. half way into it... i felt she was cuttin off more than an inch. and upon asking her that... she told me she will stop half way if i didnt need it... what kind of attitude was that?? left her a tip though she didnt deserve any. Twice I've gone to this location, and twice I've received hair cuts so horrible I've needed to go elsewhere to have it fixed. I had thought perhaps I was just unlucky the first time. It seems their stylists are incapable of following simple instructions such as "cut off two inches." They insist upon making it obvious that they narrowly achieved their license by going ahead and doing something extra you had asked them not to. If you want a cheap haircut, by all means go for it, but if you want it to look good find somewhere else. Whatever you do, don't let them add layers! read more

I've taken my newborn to get haircuts 3 times already, today was his 4th haircut. We have only taken him to great clips because they're friendly. However, at this location, a lady by the name of Gloria Alvarado decided to be nosy. Keep in mind she was not attending us. This lady kept saying that by law our 9th month old must wear socks or shoes before they can attend him. I informed her that we have been to 2 other locations within the metroplex and none of them has given us this hassle. Our son doesn't walk yet, why would he need socks, the feet have nothing to do with getting a haircut. Plus, it's been hot lately, so we don't put socks on his feet. I didn't want to leave because as most of you know barbershops are extremely busy on Saturdays. We stayed and got socks on my son. The lady who cut my son's hair was awesome, by far the best haircut he's gotten. At the end, I talked to the supervisor about this Gloria lady and the supervisor tells me "the law of kids needing socks or shoes is optional not required". She apologised for Gloria's rude behaviour. I don't care for their customer service. read more
