And she was so snippy with me that when she returned my tip thinking I wanted change, I just impulsively decided not to tip after all (which is something I've never done before!). At first, she told me the cut I wanted was an "old lady cut." I didn't listen because I'm really really sick of being pressured by hairdressers into doing things I don't want, then being unhappy with the results. Partway through the cut, though, I realized she was right and asked her to shorten the sides... and she got really nasty when I said to keep going and shorten them a bit more. Like, she snapped at me, and when she was done she tore away the sheet before I could look at the final result at all. I realize it's a little annoying to have a customer change what they want partway through a cut, but seriously... the customer has to live with this cut. You just have to deal with a few more minutes of them being in your chair. Annoying or not, it's not good business to give someone a sloppy cut because you don't like them. ETA: People have been messaging me to complain about this review, including the hairdresser, and I have to say.... she was rude and the haircut is bad. She was very vocal about any suggestions she had and did exactly what I wanted and agreed to. I really appreciated that. The only negative thing during my experience was that they didn't have enough sinks, so while I had my conditioner in they had me move to a chair with my hair soaking wet so that another client could have their hair washed.
