Angelica was professional and compassionate as always. Very pleased she was available and will definitely seek her again. Never a bad experience here. read more

Worst haircut I've ever gotten in my adult life, which says a lot since my haircut in boot camp was even better. I rarely post reviews on Yelp but this was just embarrassing. The lady did not listen to any of the requests I had. She left big tufts of hair in the faded areas, did not edge around ears, parts of the long hair on top were not clipped, no consistency at all, hairs on top were different lengths. I'm half attempted to buzz all my hair off. I only went here because it's close to my office but going to wear a hat every day to work for couple weeks for sure. I'll never go back here and suggest others to find another place for their haircut read more

Cut it way too far, tried to argue with instructions, couldn't let me pay altogether. She did a horrible job, she didn't fade like asked, she was very rough. read more

Today I tried the place again and of course they can't figure out how to check me in and another lady laps and says she can't give me a haircut so they let somebody else in their own kind. Get ahead of me and I've been waiting for a while to get a haircut. I don't understand why I lost clean is like this. This is the only location that has incompetent people working behind the counter. Not like these reviews do anything they're just gonna keep doing what they do. read more

Set my check in and was assisted quickly. Nidia was my stylist and she was quick and friendly. Will be coming back regularly.

The gay barber messed up my hair and he said I need to pay extra to get a fade. It is really bad

I would give this place NO STARS if it was an option. the stylist who cut my mom's hair yesterday was horrible and ruined her hair. She's losing her hair due to chemo and just wanted to get it evened out to make it more manageable as she goes through this traumatizing time in her life and when I called to talk to a manager, the RUDE lady that answered the phone was blaming my mom for BEING UPSET that her stylist was pulling her hair out and cutting off too much hair While being awful to her. So obviously these people don't care about giving good haircuts OR service. Oh! AND they made her pay! When I asked the lady to take my name and number down for a manager to get back to me, she refused. So yes, I did keep calling back as she kept hanging up on me (threatening me) and refusing to give me her name or take my number down. i will be letting everyone know to avoid this location at all costs. read more

Did a GREAT JOB!! Also pleased with results from there. It is out of my way but worth the drive for the quality of the hair cut! read more

Recently came here for a routine haircut and beard trim. The morning after my haircut my neck (where my beard was shaved) had erupted in a skin infection, which i was advised was due to the cut. I have never had this happen after a haircut before. read more

asian lady is super rude she did my hair cut hardly 7min and charged 29$ if I'm asking any changes in my hair cut I already did it , if you want it again I charge double it means 60$ fr 15 minutes? and she saying on your account last time is showing 2 inches why she not followed that and asked me before do the hair cut saying last time you have 2 number , I never gonna step in great clip again. read more

all the girls are good here The only reason they have long wait times is because people sign in and don't show up! Customers need to come as soon as they get the text to come over and all will run smoothly Thank u read more

I checked in online 1.5 hours before and went to the location when texted, but I was turned away because they closed in five minutes. The stylists were rude and dismissive when telling me I couldn't be helped. It doesn't make sense why I was sent the notification for that time if it was so near the closing time. read more

BEST STYLIST BY FAR and they can give Muslim women privacy when cutting/styling hair.

watched the employee at the front left station remove someone's name from the waiting list. after a few minutes, a customer walks in and before he can even say anything, the lady starts yelling "We're not taking anymore people!" he says he checked in online two hours ago. the employee played dumb and said "we're not taking anymore people. if you checked in two hours ago, we would not hold your appt for that long." which doesn't make sense because I checked in online and my wait time was 141 minutes which is well over two hours. he tells them he received a text from their system two minutes ago letting him know he was up soon and had 15 mins to make it to the salon and even shows them the text. both employees continued playing dumb and said "I didn't remove any name from the list! the system only holds your name for 60 mins. We're not taking anymore people!" highly unprofessional. sidenote: he never accused them of removing his name from the list so that in itself just shows she's guilty (not mentioning the fact that I literally witnessed her delete his name). read more

Pros: -It was clean. -No wait time. I was helped right away. -Got a good coupon in the mail for $7.99. That's hard to beat. Cons: I've been growing out my hair for six years so I could donate it. I've done it before so I brought my hair tie so I could collect the hair and then mail it off. The lady that cut my hair gave me a spiel how she's been hairdressing for 30 years and that I should never cut my hair in a ponytail so I don't end up with an uneven haircut; and that the organizations don't care about the hair not being in a ponytail because they put it in a machine. Ok cool. After my haircut, she put it in a bag for me to take home. I do like how my hair turned out. However, when I got home I saw the donation form explicitly stated it needs to be in a braid or ponytail so the hair is all in one direction... by this point the hair in the bag has become one giant clump and I've spent over an hour brushing it out and there are so many loose strands that I'm upset are going to end up getting thrown out instead of donated... six years of hair growth! So, please look at your donation form before you get your haircut and don't let anyone tell you otherwise regardless of experience. read more

Went online and checked in as requested by Great Clips so they do not have people just hanging out in the store (Covid concerns). Got my 15 minute heads up text and went right to the shop. Walked in and was at the top of the list. The woman in charge apparently figured out it was me at the top of the list and immediately told me it would be 15-20 minutes because she was going to take the people who had been sitting in the store ahead of me. I tried to ask why have the online checkin if it's going to be ignored but didn't get a coherent answer. Sad customer experience for someone who's been going to that shop for serveral years. The location was convenient for me but there are many other quality options avaible without the poor customer service attitude. read more

The estimated time never works. Its just a gimmic. Irrespective your booked time, you have to wait for more than 30 min for your appointment similar to other person who has not boked an appointment, Plus the barber is regular, he knows standard cuts (+ Language barriers). So at the end he will cut hair with what he knows than what the customer desires. read more

I'm standing in front of the Great Clips at 9:03 and there is no one inside - what's the point of store hours if you don't honor them? I'm guessing a staff member overslept but the manager/owner has to be all over that. Hope to hear from the owner and get an apology. UPDATE: someone came at 9:10 and told me to be system was down so they couldn't cut my hair. If they knew it was down when they closed, the least you can do is put a note on the door or something. read more

Owner commented below my review, He put his spin on what happened, I HAVE used the online check in system many times before with no problem. It could have been faulty the morning this situation happened. I don't know, but I checked at the right right location and arrived within the time the online system alerted me to be there. It looks like as I read the reviews, much time is spent disputing the reviews. It seems the reviews tell the real story, MY review stands. I was treated horrible by the manager, screamed at by this person and was treated in a very poor manner showing no respect what so ever no matter the situation. Owner commented that its a busy salon, should be with a huge population/economic growth in this area, but as always what goes around comes around, good luck, it will be needed. My original review stands: Place a total disaster. Manager screamed at me because when he did not see my name on list of people that check in online. I checked in online at the right location on time and arrived on time. RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE, call 800 number for Great Clips, Owner did contact me with a less than sincere apology, but spent more time attempting to justify Manager's actions and attitude and trying to put all the blame on me the customer. . NO WAY, Beware.. read more

I went into the store to ask if I can use the promocode then suddenly the staff made comments about my usage of promo code. Then, when I asked the lady to trim my hair about half an inch, she repeatedly told me that this would count as 2 haircuts. When I am inserting my card for payment, the lady insists that I should include tips. This behavior is extremely disturbing as I was being forced to pay high tips for this service. The staff and the lady who cut my hair were extremely rude and inconsiderate. Honestly, I was very frustrated that I just paid and left the place. Horrendous experience read more

Worst behavior towards the customers. The lady was very rude towards me when I said the waiting list number instead of name and also I felt like she would fight me if I don't keep quite. From next time I am not going to go to this place. read more

The employees (wouldn't call them stylists) were too busy talking among themselves that they weren't even paying attention to their work. I have no problem with them chatting as long as they can multitask and concentrate on the job. She was barely even paying attention and looked like she went on with a template haircut even after I showed her a pic of myself with the style I had before it grew longer. She said yes and then proceeded to do whatever she wanted. Not even close to what I asked for. When I told her the same, zero response - nothing. Wow, I just played and left. Never again going to try this cause if they cannot get it right on a weekday, can't imagine what they do on a busy weekend. read more

Very rude! I guess she loved to argue because she wanted to argue how she wasn't being rude and wanted to give me a lesson on how I should ask for my hair to be cut because asking to frame my face was not specific enough. But that's not it...she also wanted to give me a lesson on Texas Board state law as to why they couldn't cut my son's hair if he was gonna sit on my lap (which I understood if that's your policy fine) and then she wanted to tell me how they shouldn't even had allowed my 14 month old in who was wearing only socks not shoes because that's also against state law. Also the whole time she was cutting my hair all I could smell is the her last cigarette she smoked. I should've just stuck to my regular location off of Beltline I have never had a bad experience there. read more

By no shred of my distorted reality do I even believe that I'm a handsome person, I'll be perfectly blunt, If you stare at me for more than 4 seconds you might choke on your own gastric juices, so the last thing a feverishly despicable looking Mongoloid like myself needs, Is a lopsided haircut. Why on Gods green earth, would I need to be Silly looking as well as scary? I thank the women who decided it would be a clever idea to cut one side of my hair longer than the other, but I do not believe this is a well thought out business practice. This place is still open doing mock cuts, I'm not sure why Yelp has em closed but it's probably in the publics best interest Maybe they should be. read more

This ls the worst place, they do not care about online appointments at all, the staff is rude and careless

I've never had short hair, so about six weeks ago I went to a high end salon and got a really cute layered cut. It was starting to grow out, and I didn't want to pay the high end price again, so I came here thinking that it couldn't be too hard to maintain a cut that's already there. Boy was I wrong. My stylist, Vicky, was extremely rude, and instead of maintaining the layered cut, like I requested, she cut straight across my neck and forehead then kicked me out of her chair. My hair looks ridiculous now. Instead of being able to just brush it and go, like I could before, I have to spend a long time fussing with it. Next time, I'm going to save myself the aggravation and just pay the extra money. I get treated better and actually get the haircut that I ask for. read more

these gals gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had... truly 10/10 recommend from my experience

I have been here few times and found out that hair stylist don't cut hair as instructed. I am planning to change the salon.

Go see Virginia and Bryan they have always given great customer service, and awesome haircuts!

Place was clean, but neither employees there today spoke English very well at all, which I suppose is fine... But it is a bit difficult to describe the haircut you want if you don't speak the same language. When I was leaving, I signed the receipt and handed it to her and she just took it without even looking at me and just called the next person up. Which again, no big deal, but it was pretty impersonal. The haircut was average, it does not look bad at all, but it was overall not the most pleasant experience. read more

If I could give a zero I would. I did an online check in with an estimated wait time of 90 minutes. After about 80 minutes I walked into the salon and saw I was third on the list and the first person on the list had checked in as being at the salon. While I was waiting the salon owner came to the front and asked if I was on the list and I said yes he verified my name and looked at my information in their database and asked if I was still in Gainesville I said no but that address works fine for as I still receive mail there. There were 2 stylist working and they finished up about the same time. One of the stylist cleaned up the hair clippings while the second stylish finished up with the previous customers. When they were both finished one of the stylist asked who was next and the person that was number one on the list said he was and that the person with him was not on the list but was supposed to be. So they took both of those clients. I said if that was the case I am leaving. Walked out to my car and called customer care and explained the situation and shared my displeasure. The customer service rep asked if she could share my info with the salon owner. I said yes. After I hung up with the salon owner I decided to go back in and see the salon owner myself. When I walked back in one of the stylist said "Oh, you came back!". I disregarded her comment as the man I assumed was the salon owner was walking to the front. I asked if he was the salon owner and he replied in the affirmative. I asked him if he had a moment.to.talk and he said yes and we stepped outside so as to be out of earshot of his employees. I explained the situation and he said the issue was his as he had entered the information into their point of sale system. What I found amazing is he made no offer to get me in next or any other type of accomodations. I can only assume that as my address in the system was not local to his salon he did not really care. read more
