Maggi did a wonderful job with my haircut today. I went to see her for a new haircut. She is very detail-oriented and makes sure that I like the way she does. She constantly asks me what I want. There is no appointment needed because she accepts walk-in only. She always wears mask and does not have any objections that I wear the mask while she cut my hair. Maggie did an absolutely perfect job. I asked for bangs and a trim to get rid of split ends. She was careful and quick about it, and didn't take any length off of my hair like I'm always afraid of. I live in Austin now but Magy is definitely still my hair (and now skin care) lady! She is very knowledgeable in both domains. Magy has been cutting my hair for the past 8 months or so. Any time I am in town and need a haircut, I go to her. She's such a sweet and gentle person and it's always a genuine pleasure to see her. She listens and always remembers what you want done with your hair, session after session, which is surprising because she must have a lot of clients! It is obvious Magy cares. She's also been cutting hair for 20+ years now so she is quite skilled! I'm always pleased with my hair afterwards. She also does microdermabrasion and facials! Today I did my first of six sessions of microdermabrasion. It's fantastic! I can already see a drastic improvement in my skin's texture and softness after only one session! Magy does not only the microdermabrasion but also extensive care after and a cleansing beforehand. I felt so relaxed throughout the whole session. Highly recommended! read more

Before she started, she listened very carefully how I wanted my haircut. Then she suggested few things which assured me that she knew what I really wanted. She took as much time as it required - did not rush at all. Then she rinsed my hair, shampooed it - which I did not get at any other places unless I paid extra money. She even offered to style my hair which is very nice of her. Best hair salon I have been to so far. Great attitude. Worth every penny. Much much better than Greatclips or Supercuts in the vicinity. After moving to the mid cities and trying a few other big chain hair places, I knew I needed to find a true hair cutter that I could return to. I searched Yelp and found Magi! I could tell she had few clients and they were all followers from the big chain she had just left, but everyone seemed so nice about her and she had an excellent star rating. I decided to give her a go! It was my first time coloring my hair and she did an amazing job! I even dabbled with some highlights! After one visit, she had time to spare before her next client and sat with me showing me how to make big curls with my flat iron at home! (Did I mention for free???) When I say I want a trim because I'm trying to grow it out, she doesn't chop it all off like EVERY OTHER HAIR SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! She listens! It's so phenomenal! I love listening to her talk about her kids and her doggies at home! She's just such a good person!! This is my first review on here and I new it had to be for Magi! She does such a great job, but she needs more clients! Don't get me wrong, I love calling her last minute for an appointment and being able to head straight in, but I want her around for a while! Pro: Such a sweet lady. Cons: I went in after seeing such great reviews but after getting my haircut it was obvious people that have left reviews are friends/family. I asked for a v-cut haircut to define my layers as well as get rid of split ends. I got my layers but left with the same amount of split ends and my layers are so uneven on both sides. My usual haircut spot is supercuts so I don't have high standards. I'd rather spend my money at supercuts. read more

It only took her two times of coloring my hair to find the perfect color for me. She spends time cutting hair to get it right. The only drawback I can think of is her location.
