I had an AMAZING experience with Desiree! Not only is she's a heck of a stylist, she's fun, down-to-earth and easy to talk to. She has a variety of interests and can talk with you about not so usual topics. When I came to her home/salon, she sat me down and we talked about what I was wanting. She really listened to what I had to say and executed based on my wants. One thing that I loved was every time she did something (such as put foils in my hair) she explained what she was doing and why. I've been to "fancy" Dallas salons, and honestly, my experience with Desiree was better than any experience I've had in a salon. Not to mention her prices are reasonable! I paid $100 for fresh balayge, whereas I was paying $200 at salons (not including tip). Overall I am extremely satisfied with my experience and hair with Desiree and I will DEFINITELY be returning. read more

Desiree Cline Stylist - Love my new hair! - Hair Salons Near Me - Irving, Texas

Desiree is Amazing! She listens so well to what I want and helps guide me to the perfect hair cut I want. Most of the time I do not know how to describe how I like my hair and she walks me through the haircut and is so helpful! In the past, I hate going to get my haircut from hair stylist and get no feed back and update while they cut my hair. And by the time my hair cut is almost over, it's to last to tell the hair stylist to not do something. (DESIREE is so good, she communicates with you and gives you the perfect hair cut you want!) Also, she is so pleasant and easy to be around. Talking with her is natural and not awkward at all. She is really just the best! Go check her out! I love my hair cuts! And her salon is super nice and clean. It's well spaced and feels so warm. read more

Y'all I looked on Yelp to try to find a cheap salon in dallas (super difficult but I am so stingy) and found that she was affordable. By the end I payed her way more than I imagined because I WANTED TO MYSELF! She was that good. She asked what I wanted, listened, and most importantly worked on it until she decided it was PERFECT. I'ver never cared too much about my hair and now I can't imagine having it back to before (cause this is way better). Most importantly she is loving and kind and another person well worth knowing, and with an added haircut bonus! read more

I had a very pleasant experience with Desiree. She listens to what you want and makes sure you are happy with her work! I even asked her for some maintenance tips the day after (I had my hair colored), and she was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend Desiree. read more

Desiree has been cutting and coloring my hair for about 3 years. She was recommended by another friend and I am so glad because she's fantastic and affordable, something that is impossible to find in Dallas. She takes her time and as another reviewer said - she's a perfectionist. She gave me bangs for the first time a few years ago and I've kept them ever since because I love them, and because she *really* knows how to do bangs. No one else gets bangs right - she nails them every time. I don't fear getting a haircut like I once did - I actually look forward to it. read more

Desiree has given me the worst cut I have had in more than a decade. Beware, people with naturally curly hair! Also, I question her abilities to follow directions and to respect a client's clearly expressed wishes. I even showed her a photo. I would have gladly answered questions or showed her more photos. But now that she has done something totally different from what I asked for, I will have to live with totally botched hair for at least two months while this ****** up mess grows out. read more

I'd give more stars if I could! Probably one of the best haircuts I've ever had..I'm a perfectionist and so is Desiree, and it shows! No salon drama here, she is a great stylist, a genuinely nice person who cares about what you want, and knows how to do it!! read more

Desiree is awesome! I needed to get my hair done at the last minute, my current hair stylist had to cancel multiple times (granted it was for good reason) but after 2 weeks I just couldnt wait any longer because I was going out of town. I started searching and she texted me back asap, plus could fit me in that day! So stars for quick response! As for my hair, I have been getting my hair done for a long time. I like to have fun with it, its long, its short, its red, its brunette, but currently its very blonde. Literally probably the best color job I have ever had, she is a prefectionist and was the first stylist ever to correct bleeds in the dye (i have thin fine hair and this just happens when you do small highlights...which I was not aware of until she educated me!) On top of that she gave me an awesome cut! She clearly knows what she is doing, she demonstrated her knowledge just in general conversation. And thats where she gets more stars-she is super friendly. Offered me drinks and food multiple times to make sure I was comfortable. I think her doing hair out of her apt is super smart, why pay a ton to rent a space when she can save that and thus pass those savings on to me?! I am not the type to need hot towel service and 20 ladies gossiping in an over-modernized salon, I am low-maintence and just want my hair to look great. If you are looking at this review you are already thinking about a new stylist or need one, you should give her a try! read more

I found Desiree through recommendations on Facebook, and am so glad I did! She is now cutting the whole familiy's hair. I love that I don't have to go to a salon and get judged by everyone if I show up with no makeup or maybe not in my cutest outfit. Desiree is so sweet and fun to talk to. She also happens to do a fantastic job! She knows how to listen to what I want and execute it. read more

Desiree's work is great! I had a bad color job w a precious hair person, so I came to Desiree a few months ago to get the hair color fixed! And, I've stuck w her since! She is a perfectionist and wants her clients to be happy. I've been super happy w my results! I have dark black hair so it can be tough, but she does a great job! read more

Desiree has being doing my hair for, ooh, I don't know how long, over 15 years (these days we live on opposite sides of the country/continent - so whenever we're in the same city, I always have her do my hair). She's great! Her cuts and color are fab! (She listens and makes sure she understands what you're asking for!) She always uses great products (ammonia free hair color, etc.) and is very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions, educate about product ingredients (so when you go shopping and start reading those labels - you know what to look for!), and make suggestions. *sigh* I miss having Des do my hair on a regular basis! read more

Thanks Desiree for the great cut and color! I am glad to have found a stylist that takes the time to listen.

I had a post-pregnancy hair meltdown and went to Desiree. She booked me immediately and was so accommodating and friendly. I loved the home environment, no salon anxiety here at all. She listened to my needs, and gave me the best cut in no time. She used a razor, which I haven't liked in the past, but I couldn't be happier with these results. She was wonderful and the cut is amazing! read more
