I also booked a pedicure as I needed my feet pampered from a good ski season. I was pleased with both services. I have had plenty of pedicures and this one was ok. Water could have been hotter and certainly could have used a stronger foot massage. The chair was comfortable though. Manicure met my needs. Clean hands and nails. I work a warehouse jobs to they can get beat up so was nice to get them pampered. It's a nice place. Definitely worth a visit.

The stylists did not realize that I could hear them when they said "Are you expecting someone?" "No, are you?" as I walked in the door. Regrettably, that made me feel unwelcome right away. I have a feeling that they were getting ready to close (before 4PM on a Thursday), and were just trying to figure out if I was a scheduled appointment or a walk-in. I don't recall seeing any hours posted on the door, or "by appointment only" signage anywhere, but perhaps that would help curb last-minute walk-ins. She let me know that they did not have any remaining appointments for the day, and offered to schedule me for another time. I was just in town for a few hours between shifts at work, and scheduling an appointment for a few days out, really wouldn't have helped my situation (I had a bridal gown try-on the next morning and wanted to look my best). While they do offer waxing services, they do not currently accept credit cards (cash and check only). The woman who greeted me did let me know that they were expecting a CC machine "soon." Which I can only say, will immensely add to their business. There were two gentlemen getting haircuts while I spoke with the stylist; both appeared very fashion-forward and pleased with their services. I can say this about Looks To Kill: I definitely would be back for a hair cut. Maybe it's the name, but there's something a bit edgy and cool about this place. The woman who helped me was very friendly and pleasant, wishing me well as I left, eyebrows still unruly and unkempt.

I was somewhat indecisive but gave her an idea of what I was looking for, and that was enough to get her mixing the colors and do her thing! She is very talented and definitely experienced! Just 2 hours before I got a message from Taylor that she just got notified of my appointment, and wouldn't be able to take me because it was double-booked but I could rescheduled for another day. I asked if I could be compensated in any way because of the inconvenience and was offered $5 off. I said that I was hoping for more considering I had gotten several email and text confirmation and reminders from their service and was being canceled last minute. Taylor proceeds to say that it wasn't her fault and that it was best not to take me on as a client since we couldn't agree, making it like I was in the wrong with her not caring about what happened. This is how a potential new client is treated over a situation caused by the company booking system. I don't recommend them because of the booking error and the completely bad customer service handling it: 1) not taking accountability by offering any compensation, 2) only giving a minimal amount of a discount after being asked, 3) and then canceling appointment altogether over not wanting to compensate more but putting it on the customer for "not being agreeable".

Did not know what to expect, just knew I wanted my hair colored and cut and shaped into a short bob. The stylist was running about 15 minutes late when I got there on time, but did not realize she had another client that was taking a substantial amount of time to bleach out some old color and then to apply new color. Needless to say, a color and cut took over 3 1/2 hours! It would have been appreciated if there was an "I'm sorry for running behind", but there was no acknowledgement of how late she was running. Very disappointed in the cut which was not tapered nor short enough. The color was ok, nothing that can't be fixed somewhere else. I'll probably find a salon now, rather than waiting when another color is needed to get the hair cut I wish I had received. I had a feeling when I walked in and wasn't greeted that I wouldn't be happy. Wish I listened to that feeling!
