I have often left The Lift with hair cut so unevenly that I have had to even it out myself at home. She was very vocal about any suggestions she had and did exactly what I wanted and agreed to. I really appreciated that. The only negative thing during my experience was that they didn't have enough sinks, so while I had my conditioner in they had me move to a chair with my hair soaking wet so that another client could have their hair washed. Other than that, great atmosphere, very pleased with my haircut.

I sent a contact message checking to see what was available, hoping to find someone good who could help me. Got a message back from Jonathan, asking what I was looking for. I explained my situation to him and he actually stayed after his day was done to fit me in. I wanted to see who he was and his experience, but he wasn't listed on the salon's website, so I googled him and found a review. It was an excellent review and I was so excited it would be someone who has great experience. I get to the salon and Jonathan was finishing up with the young lady before me. He did an amazing job on her hair and I knew I was in the right spot. All I can say is Jonathan knows hair, everything about hair. He did an amazing job coloring and cutting my hair with such precision. I immediately felt very comfortable with Jonathan. He's a great guy, with a heart of gold. He's also got a lot of great stories. I can't wait to move here and see him again. He is extremely talented, and he's a delight to be around! He's that stylist everyone looks for. I feel so blessed that he took the time to help me.

However, that being said, this was hands down the worst mani/pedi I have ever had in my life, and if I hadn't gotten a great deal for it on Groupon I would be even more upset. I have to go spend more $$$ now to get it fixed. Here is why I think a teenager still in cosmetology training at a vocational high school would have been a better bet: I can see the patches of my previous nail polish underneath the new polish. On multiple nails. She missed spots entirely. I actually had to ask her to cover a spot on the tip of my thumb, and you can see the spot where she covered (but didn't blend it). This looks so bad it is as if a 5-y/o did it to me. It is streaky and doesn't look like the top coat was evenly distributed at all. Essie gel should not chip 12 hours after it is applied, but it did. My pedicure has spots on it that look like white paint. ???? She was rushed and had people waiting, or I would have demanded a do over (or just that she take everything off so I could go somewhere else), but it took 2 hours to begin with, so who has that kind of time???
