I was really impressed with Great Clips! I have 2 young boys. My 7 year old won't hold still and the stylist was very sweet and patient with him. Meanwhile, my 9 year old is very shy and his stylist made him feel very comfortable and had him smiling before it was all over. The boys look great for the first day of school too! Avoid this place....I came in & registered for cut ... Told I needed to wait (90) minutes & only (2) people in shop for haircuts although there were other folks in the lobby waiting around....I walked out front to make a phone call & (2) minutes later one of the stylists came out front & accused me of taking a coupon from the counter ...She did NOT ASK ANYONE IN SHOP IF THEY HAD COUPON OR SAW ME TAKE THE COUPON.... Of course Im a Black Male so very sad news that I was approached by this woman.... Jennifer at Great Clips is outstanding! My 8 year old grandson is on the Autism Spectrum, so haircuts can be a challenge. Jennifer is outstanding cutting his hair. My grandson loves her. She totally gets it when cutting his hair, and makes his experience fun. I will not go anywhere else...when you find someone like Jennifer, it's like finding gold! read more

The employees here are extremely unprofessional for flagging legitimate negative reviews as "funny." If they can't take constructive criticism or understand that their shoddy haircuts have consequences (people have lost their jobs, gotten bullied at school or in public, and pay extra money for a SKILLED hairdresser to fix the mess), they have entered the wrong line of work. I would not recommend this Great Clips, or Great Clips in general, to anyone, because the terrible emergency haircut I received (I was unable to see my regular hairdresser because of a family emergency) literally jeopardized my career, and my "compensation" (more of a smack in the face) was in the form of a Great Clips coupon. The employees here should really take these negative reviews to heart. Flagging them as "funny" reflects poorly on them-- it is unprofessional and petty, and should be a huge red flag to any potential customer. read more

It's so cheap so I'll probably still get my hair cut here. $14 for both men and women alike. My haircut wasn't great at first but it turned out much better after a day or two. Was definitely happy with it. Bf, on the other hand, specified for two inches on top, but the barber ended up just shaving his head completely. He's definitely not coming back. This place was one of my most favorite places to work. The pay is great, the hours are fantastic, dress code is one that made me the most comfortable and the environment is family friendly. Working here was like working with a loving family. I've been in other salons where the team isn't really a team. Great clips co workers didn't hesitate to step in and help you out. No one was in competition with one another. They are the true definition of a team. I was a stylist that didn't like chemicals and working there I didn't have to be worried about trying to formulate because it's not a service they provide. So that pleased me tremendously. If you're a stylist looking for a good paying job check this place out. You won't regret. read more

Awful from beginning to end. Went in to get my granddaughter's hair cut. They asked for a phone number and I didn't want to give one because I value my privacy. Very rude man from the back, another employee I guess, yells they will not cut her hair without a phone number. So I gave them a fake name and phone number. Problem solved right? Wrong. An elderly woman sitting near me kept asking if I was ok because I guess I sniffled once or twice? It's allergy season. So I told her I had a cold and wasn't crying just to reassure her and get her to leave me alone. Same employee yells at me that I have to put on a mask. For allergies. I told him no because he wasn't wearing one. This employee then proceeds to watch YouTube videos so loud they were drowning out the background music in the shop. Granddaughter's haircut was finished and she comes out with wet hair. Her "stylist" says we don't blow dry hair because we're not allowed to....because Covid? Meanwhile the man getting a haircut next to her had his hair blown dry. Poor service and rude people. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Enticed by a coupon with a $5.99 special, I visited here for a simple men's haircut figuring how bad could it be? Answer, really bad. Thinking I just had a bad hair cutter, I returned a second time and used a different young lady. The second time was even worse. I think the two haircuts were the worst I have ever had. Problem was neither cutter blended the short sides with the longer top. Rather than a smooth transition, the effect was a bowl cut. Bottom line is I will not be back. On the plus side, there was no wait for a hair cut but there is a good reason why. read more
