I've been going here for 6-7 years. I love the employees, I love the service…read more They are the most professional and courteous employees I've ever come across here in Warner Robins. I really enjoy the 15 minute oil changes and the open/close doors when I enter/exit car. I enjoy the "Have a wonderful day". I don't think they get enough credit and wish I could notify their managers that they all deserve a bonus this year. Good job Jiffy Lube people!!!

August 4, 2025 I drove a properly good operating vehicle to Jiffy Lube and requested an oil change…read more After several hours of aggressive upsale tactics, the Cashier suggested that I prepay so that when they started the vehicle I would be able to leave without delay. Immediately after charging my card, the hood was closed and I was told that they could no longer start the vehicle due to an electrical issue and I would have to have the vehicle towed from the premises. I vehemently objected and insisted that they repair the damage to my vehicle. I was told that they know nothing about the electrical system and insisted that I have the truck towed from the Jiffy lube premises. It was determined that Jiffy Lube damaged the fuel control module, the electric lift pump and/or the cabin fuel fuse. when these three items were replaced the truck started and again has operated flawlessly for the past eight months without issue. Jiffy Lube ahs taken and maintains that the non start status of the vehicle predated my visit to Jiffy Lube and refuses to pay for the damages they caused. This is of course outrageous, ridiculous and impossible because the vehicle was started and driven into the shop.

Take 5's Negligence Destroyed My Engine - Stay FAR Away…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. I took my car to Take 5 Oil Change on January 3, 2025, expecting a routine service. Instead, I got a $10,000+ disaster. Just a month later, on February 4, my oil pressure light came on as I pulled into work. I checked the dipstick--the oil level was dangerously low. Not wanting to risk further damage, I had my car towed to the dealership, where they confirmed the shocking truth:     *    Take 5 left my drain plug loose, causing nearly all my oil to leak out.     *    The engine had already started eating itself alive--metal shavings were found in the oil pan.     *    The only fix? A full engine replacement. At this point, you'd think Take 5 would take responsibility. Nope. They did everything in their power to dodge accountability:     *    They claimed I was two days past their "warranty" period, as if that somehow excuses them from failing at the most basic part of their job.     *    They said taking it to a real mechanic voided the warranty--like I should trust lube techs over certified professionals when my engine is on life support?     *    They even tried blaming my wife, asking why she didn't notice oil pooling under the car. Seriously? It's the customer's job to double-check their incompetence? Take 5's negligence cost me an engine, and their response was to gaslight and deflect blame. This shop is an absolute joke, and I wouldn't trust them to fill my windshield washer fluid, let alone touch my engine. If you value your car, your money, and your sanity, STAY AWAY FROM TAKE 5.

I normally just go to places that are convenient like while I go shopping but knew that the wait would be longer than I had to spare so I gave them a shot. The staff was courteous, professional, and worked liked a fine oiled and tuned machine. They verbally spoke to each other about what task they were completing, other workers instinctively handed them tools and took over other tasks. It was refreshing to see a group of people that cared about doing their job and doing it well with pride and camaraderie. I was very impressed. They had me in and out so fast too. They made me a fan today and I'm very likely to stop wasting time at my previous "go-to" places because This experience far exceeded my experience at any of my previous oil change experiences. That crew definitely deserves my 5 stars.

We went to a different location but since this is a chain you still need to know…read more Mavis Tires & Brakes We've been to Mavis now for tires and brakes thinking they would be good because they seemed to be professional. Here's how it went: The Good: -- They are professional. Each interaction with the people was good. They are helpful, explain what they are doing, and answer all questions. -- The service is relatively fast. -- Waiting areas are pretty clean. -- Easy to schedule an appointment online. I got one for my brakes same day. -- Decent selection of tires. The Not So Good: -- Expensive -- Expensive -- Did I say expensive? Let me qualify this. -- Tires are about 50% more than a place like Walmart or Costco where you will get a similar product with no noticeable difference and similar warranty. -- I got my brakes (all 4 wheels) done about 2 years ago at a different shop for about $800. Mavis charged me $1100 for 2 wheels! -- you can go to auto zone and get all the parts they used for about $450 vs the $670 they charged me -- Labor is a set price for working on a set part. It is NOT per hour. $416 for labor that took a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. To put this in perspective, that is the same as a junior airline captain. Bottom Line: We went to Mavis out of convenience and necessity. We will NOT be going back. Save your money and go someplace else.
