After we picked up car and started driving down road, the battery light came on (because our alternator needed to be replaced). Pulled over and when I looked under hood I find out they didn't even replace the battery I paid them for. When I called them to explain what happened, they got very rude and told me that it just happens and that it's not a big deal. We had someone else run a test and confirmed that the alternator was failing and needed to be replaced. Never going back here again. They charge for work that they didn't do and they don't even attempt to make things right.

Here's how it went: The Good: -- They are professional. Each interaction with the people was good. They are helpful, explain what they are doing, and answer all questions. -- The service is relatively fast. -- Waiting areas are pretty clean. -- Easy to schedule an appointment online. I got one for my brakes same day. -- Decent selection of tires. The Not So Good: -- Expensive -- Expensive -- Did I say expensive? Let me qualify this. -- Tires are about 50% more than a place like Walmart or Costco where you will get a similar product with no noticeable difference and similar warranty. -- I got my brakes (all 4 wheels) done about 2 years ago at a different shop for about $800. Mavis charged me $1100 for 2 wheels! -- you can go to auto zone and get all the parts they used for about $450 vs the $670 they charged me -- Labor is a set price for working on a set part. It is NOT per hour. $416 for labor that took a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. To put this in perspective, that is the same as a junior airline captain. Bottom Line: We went to Mavis out of convenience and necessity. We will NOT be going back. Save your money and go someplace else.

We had it replaced with our temporary tire by our roadside service, but didn't want to drive 303 miles on back roads under 50 mph. There weren't many tire repair places open on Sunday. After calling several other businesses, only to find them either closed, or out of business, we called Tires Plus. I talked to Tyler B. and explained our plight. He told us he was booked til closing. I mentioned we were trying to get home to TN, and saw their review on Yelp, while looking for places to get our tire repaired. Tyler, then, said he'd work us in. In previous reviews, Stan, the Manager was mentioned. When we arrived,we were told Stan had gone for the day. We are writing to say that, in his absence, the shop is in good hands with Tyler in charge. Our car was taken care of promptly at a reasonable price. Way to go Tyler B!!!

They did the windows on the other car and when we went to check out they gave us a discount due to the trouble. I was thankful and expected nothing more. I went today to get the car that needed the windshield fixed and everything was perfect. They also discounted this car and detailed my interior. On to of that since it was raining cats and dogs they found my umbrella and made sure I got to my car dry.
