One particular mechanic I would like to mention is Caleb and his extremely AMAZING personality to take care of the customers need. Caleb not only takes time to elucidate the details of your car issues, but will look for closer vendors to assure your service get what it deserves during the visit while still being transparent in EOC expectations. I highly recommend Caleb and any other mechanic from EOC on 124 S Houston Lake Road!!!!!

Hello my experience was not Good at all in the beginning it was basic I needed oil change and tire…read morerotation. From the beginning the oil attendant forgot to rotate my tires and he just did my oil change until i reminded him; to do tire rotation because I had 15hr road trip. So I left for my trip and after 4hrs. I notice my vehicle was losing power and car was hesitating, and metallic sound coming from my engine. I inspected it, and oil was all over the front of engine;immediately I knew it was oil filter. This happened around 2am had get hotel. Next morning went Valvoline station in Cleveland Tennessee they confirmed it was oil filter not tightened at all. After they corrected it my car ran fineThe only Good thing happened when they (Express oil) repaid me back because I had receipt from Valvoline station confirming my oil filter was not put in correctly.

Was told by manager there was nothing they could doand would not give me owners name. Finally was reimbursed for service only as I brought my own oil and filter and they did not reimburse for that or the oil my son had to buy and bring me. Called corporate several times before anyone would return my call. ZERO customer service!

Take 5's Negligence Destroyed My Engine - Stay FAR Away…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. I took my car to Take 5 Oil Change on January 3, 2025, expecting a routine service. Instead, I got a $10,000+ disaster. Just a month later, on February 4, my oil pressure light came on as I pulled into work. I checked the dipstick--the oil level was dangerously low. Not wanting to risk further damage, I had my car towed to the dealership, where they confirmed the shocking truth:     *    Take 5 left my drain plug loose, causing nearly all my oil to leak out.     *    The engine had already started eating itself alive--metal shavings were found in the oil pan.     *    The only fix? A full engine replacement. At this point, you'd think Take 5 would take responsibility. Nope. They did everything in their power to dodge accountability:     *    They claimed I was two days past their "warranty" period, as if that somehow excuses them from failing at the most basic part of their job.     *    They said taking it to a real mechanic voided the warranty--like I should trust lube techs over certified professionals when my engine is on life support?     *    They even tried blaming my wife, asking why she didn't notice oil pooling under the car. Seriously? It's the customer's job to double-check their incompetence? Take 5's negligence cost me an engine, and their response was to gaslight and deflect blame. This shop is an absolute joke, and I wouldn't trust them to fill my windshield washer fluid, let alone touch my engine. If you value your car, your money, and your sanity, STAY AWAY FROM TAKE 5.

Preston was very courteous and advised me that he would be able to help me. I try to do "simple things" myself but when I realized that you had to go through the tire fender area, I went to the professionals. Good thing I did! After replacing the buld, it still wouldn't work. Chris had to connect the computer and reset the system. Apparently, when the bulb blew, the computer shut dow the "port" and it had to be reset. After being reset, the light came on and worked properly. These guys are great at what they do!! I will continue to use these guys and have already shown my 17 yrs old daughter how to use their service as well. The staff is always helpful and courteous.

SCAMMY SLIMEY BUSINESS.. DON'T TRUST THEM. OR THEIR FAKE FIVE STAR REVIEWS…read more (Don't you just hate businesses tbat post fake five star reviews.. and then respond to them. Like we can't see what they are doing?) I saw an online advertisement for Express Oil that said 'FREE AC CHECK'. I thought how fortunage as my ac had started blowing hot air. I called express oil and spoke to an agent and i inquired about the free ac check and the agent sounded put off i inquired about it. I asked what was included in the ac check and he blurted out "WE CHECK TO MAKE SURE IT BLOWS COLD! I asked again what tests would be run on the ac. The employee clarified they simply turn the ac on and then turn it off. So essentially the 'free ac check' is just a lie to get you into their shop.

Mavis Tires & Brakes - I waited 15 mins between 2 locations and still no air or service. He disappeared under the truck at one point. Assumed customer.

We went to a different location but since this is a chain you still need to know…read more Mavis Tires & Brakes We've been to Mavis now for tires and brakes thinking they would be good because they seemed to be professional. Here's how it went: The Good: -- They are professional. Each interaction with the people was good. They are helpful, explain what they are doing, and answer all questions. -- The service is relatively fast. -- Waiting areas are pretty clean. -- Easy to schedule an appointment online. I got one for my brakes same day. -- Decent selection of tires. The Not So Good: -- Expensive -- Expensive -- Did I say expensive? Let me qualify this. -- Tires are about 50% more than a place like Walmart or Costco where you will get a similar product with no noticeable difference and similar warranty. -- I got my brakes (all 4 wheels) done about 2 years ago at a different shop for about $800. Mavis charged me $1100 for 2 wheels! -- you can go to auto zone and get all the parts they used for about $450 vs the $670 they charged me -- Labor is a set price for working on a set part. It is NOT per hour. $416 for labor that took a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. To put this in perspective, that is the same as a junior airline captain. Bottom Line: We went to Mavis out of convenience and necessity. We will NOT be going back. Save your money and go someplace else.
