We had more than 150 miles to go after changing the one tire and the spare looked iffy. The tire monitoring system started alerting on the other tires, so we looked for a Discount Tire close to our route. I first called another Discount Tire and the call would not connect. I called the Discount Tire on Lake Joy Road, spoke to a very nice man, who advised he had two different sets of tires available and to come on in. He told us where to get the RV in, and came out as soon as he saw us driving in. In about an hour, we were back on the road with 4 new tires and a new spare. They made sure our tire monitoring system worked, had a nice waiting area and were just the nicest people to deal with. If you are in the Warner Robbins area or traveling like we were with an emergency tire replacement, do NOT hesitate to use this wonderful Discount Tire location!! Thank you!!

They fixed the rim saving me from having to fork over hundreds possible $1K+ for new tires and or rims. At a later date I purchased tires online saving me quite a bit of money, and these wonderfully fair guys allowed me to have them shipped to the shop, called me when they came in, installed them on all 4 of my rims and disposed of the old rims and tires. I had some squeeking going on with my breaks and it was a simple fix that they were able to have me come in and repair, just happened to have been on a holiday! These guys are worthy of my business. After we picked up car and started driving down road, the battery light came on (because our alternator needed to be replaced). Pulled over and when I looked under hood I find out they didn't even replace the battery I paid them for. When I called them to explain what happened, they got very rude and told me that it just happens and that it's not a big deal. We had someone else run a test and confirmed that the alternator was failing and needed to be replaced. Never going back here again. They charge for work that they didn't do and they don't even attempt to make things right.

After calling several other businesses, only to find them either closed, or out of business, we called Tires Plus. I talked to Tyler B. and explained our plight. He told us he was booked til closing. I mentioned we were trying to get home to TN, and saw their review on Yelp, while looking for places to get our tire repaired. Tyler, then, said he'd work us in. In previous reviews, Stan, the Manager was mentioned. When we arrived,we were told Stan had gone for the day. Here's how it went: The Good: -- They are professional. Each interaction with the people was good. They are helpful, explain what they are doing, and answer all questions. -- The service is relatively fast. -- Waiting areas are pretty clean. -- Easy to schedule an appointment online. I got one for my brakes same day. -- Decent selection of tires. The Not So Good: -- Expensive -- Expensive -- Did I say expensive? Let me qualify this. -- Tires are about 50% more than a place like Walmart or Costco where you will get a similar product with no noticeable difference and similar warranty. -- I got my brakes (all 4 wheels) done about 2 years ago at a different shop for about $800. Mavis charged me $1100 for 2 wheels! -- you can go to auto zone and get all the parts they used for about $450 vs the $670 they charged me -- Labor is a set price for working on a set part. It is NOT per hour. $416 for labor that took a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. To put this in perspective, that is the same as a junior airline captain. Bottom Line: We went to Mavis out of convenience and necessity. We will NOT be going back. Save your money and go someplace else.

He agreed to remove the old tires from the original wheels so that I could easily transport them in my car to the Tesla dealership. He didn't even charge me. Nice to know these guys care about the customer and not just making a buck. I will definitely come back for any tire needs for the other cars in our family.

From the beginning the oil attendant forgot to rotate my tires and he just did my oil change until i reminded him; to do tire rotation because I had 15hr road trip. So I left for my trip and after 4hrs. I notice my vehicle was losing power and car was hesitating,and metallic sound coming from my engine. I inspected it, and oil was all over the front of engine;immediately I knew it was oil filter. This happened around 2am had get hotel. Next morning went Valvoline station in Cleveland Tennessee they confirmed it was oil filter not tightened at all.
