He wouldn't refund me for the install cost and was nasty. This place is also unprofessional, they never call you when your vehicle is done despite always asking when I'm there. Additionally, the owner that sits in the back is grumpy and sighed that he had to get up and came to the counter when I was there to pickup my car. The fact is, they mess up things and won't stand behind their work. Let me say that again:THEY DON'T STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK! Took my car to them because of an intermittent starter problem. Broke the bolts loose from the exhaust to get to the starter. No problem they said. Yeah, there were now more problems. They either didn't put the bolts back the way it should have been, missed a few or whatever.Rattle, rattle, rattle.Potentially dangerous now. Don't work on a car if you don't know how to repair that model. But, why let making money get in the way? duh. I later took it to another shop who said I need a new starter.Problem solved. How simple is that? How simple is robbie not catching that a starter needs replacing?It's not rocket science. Simple problem but robbie wasn't smart enough to figure that out. Typical. Took it back to them. I had the starter issue and electrical issue. They charged me cash money for saying they fixed it but didn't. I take it back and good ole robbie says "no." No what? You took cash money from me to fix it and now you think your cheap glass rings that don't even sparkle on your fingers entitles you to tell customers that when they messed customers' cars up to simply go away? Liberace wouldn't do that. I know10k gold when I see it. Not sure if it was that or simply 10k plated. Probably plated. But to parade that around on one's hand like it's a magic wand? It's very silly.He acts like royalty. I finally had to file a complaint with the CC company and a BBB complaint. They almost missed the deadline to reply to the BBB which would have defaulted in their rating down. I recall the day that robbie was in a head on collision on Vineville Ave a few years ago. It wasn't busy that day in the shop. The old man was concerned telling me all about it. But, I now see his point and the old man was very right. Expect to get an attitude if you go in. Expect them to think that THEY gave you a great favor by simply working on your car. Guys, keep your receipts. Use a credit card. Drive the car on the highway, look under the hood the day you get it back. Document it. Take pictures before and after. They are a "likeable" company. By that I mean, when you walk in the door, they either "like" you or they don't. If they don't. You need to leave. LEAVE! Take a gander at the gaudy rings. Maybe he doesn't know how to buy diamonds? Maybe he just doesn't know? Maybe he loves spending money on gumball machines? But wearing two such rings is something that only Liberace would do and people actually liked him. I got one for my brakes same day. -- Decent selection of tires. The Not So Good: -- Expensive -- Expensive -- Did I say expensive? Let me qualify this. -- Tires are about 50% more than a place like Walmart or Costco where you will get a similar product with no noticeable difference and similar warranty. -- I got my brakes (all 4 wheels) done about 2 years ago at a different shop for about $800. Mavis charged me $1100 for 2 wheels! -- you can go to auto zone and get all the parts they used for about $450 vs the $670 they charged me -- Labor is a set price for working on a set part. Pulled over and when I looked under hood I find out they didn't even replace the battery I paid them for. When I called them to explain what happened, they got very rude and told me that it just happens and that it's not a big deal. We had someone else run a test and confirmed that the alternator was failing and needed to be replaced. Never going back here again. They charge for work that they didn't do and they don't even attempt to make things right.

Sadly most places only provide the tires and balance or rotate them. This place however, is a one-stop shop. Not only do they have tires at reasonable prices, but they also perform alignments which, in my humble opinion, addresses, safety concerns as well. My wife is currently serving in the military and they honored her by giving me a discount. The gentleman that I worked with at the front desk kept me updated as to how long my weight was going to be and provided information to help me make an informed decision about the service that I actually needed. Every employee that came in and out of the door greeted me either with words or a gesture which unfortunately rare with regards to customer service nowadays. When I checked out, I was thanked for mine and my wife's service, which is also rare. This business is veteran owned and caters to the local neighborhood. That is to say that the service here is more personal and flexible than chains such as Mavis or discount tire who follow corporate policy regardless of locality. All that to say I had an excellent experience and go refer any business to this location. It is right off 247, maybe half a mile past the post office. My tire was basically slashed by one of those metal security things that you run over the wrong way. After putting on the spare, we tried a few other nearby shops. One was closed, the other had a ridiculously long line, the other didn't carry the size I needed, but recommended 24 hour tire. We didn't exchange many words with the two workers here. All I know is that I paid $60-something for a "new" (definitely not new) tire. I didn't mind because the other three tires are 2 years old, so this was just on par. Service was really fast. We were in and out of there within 30 minutes. Can't beat the price!
