I like how this location has three bays and how we did not have to wait long for our turn (less than a minute). While we were waiting, the staff gave each of us a cold bottle of water. I also found a coupon which they had texted me back in June which expired at end of October. The technician also showed us the dip stick which was clean. They also recommended our coolant to be changed which husband declined due to time. They treat you well and take care of business in good time! They also filled our tires with air as a bonus. And then they washed our front windshield too! Great service! We were in and out on 10 minutes! Steven and Oscar took good care of us!

It was a pleasant experience, you just stay in your car, they ask what service level, I chose $99. They changed the oil recommended engine air filter replacement. It was black. That cost $28. They finished in about 10 minutes. Cleaned the windshield. One surprise I was charged extra for a new oil filter, I assumed it was included in the $99 price but charged extra $15. Total with tax $143. Good experience but took off 1 star for the oil filter extra charge.

So I'm going to list this in pros and cons and explain as I go…read more Pros: + Awesome waiting area - I've been in a lot of auto shops before, and waiting areas are important, but often not paid much attention to when it comes to auto repair shops. I mean, I have been in shops where the waiting room was literally a couch on the side of the garage. This is a tragedy because auto repair usually takes quite some time, especially if they have to order parts for your vehicle. This place, though, has a beautiful waiting area. A water cooler, several nice chairs, a children's play area, a large screen TV, several magazines on topics other than cars, including TIME magazine. There was also a nice bathroom for anyone waiting a while like I was. And on another note, in the bathroom I saw a drawer labeled "feminine products." In an auto shop? It blew my mind. + Good service - I called 3 different auto shops when I was looking to get my brakes done. This one was the only one that actually picked up the phone. They had a regularly manned front desk. The main person who handled the back and forth between the mechanics and me seemed to be knowledgeable about the mechanic side, but also able to deal with customers with ease, which is rare. The rain also started to pick up as I left, so he let me leave out the back instead of having me walk in the rain to my car. + Clean auto shop all around - Not only was the waiting area clean, but the auto shop itself was as well. + Fair pricing and knowledgeable mechanics - All labor and parts are broken down on your bill, and if there is extra work that needs to be done, they will discuss it with you first. It was also nice that they managed to get a picture to show me of the part that needed to be replaced, so I knew they weren't just making stuff up. Cons: + Limited parking at the office - There are only three parking spaces before the mechanic's yard. Two were used when I got there. If anyone had arrived after me, I don't think they would've had anywhere to really park unless they went directly into the yard. In general, this auto shop was very good. For most, the experience would've rated fantastic, however, I'm particularly picky when it comes to auto repair shops. Before I moved to Atlanta, I had a regular mechanic in Oklahoma who was better than any other I've ever had. He was the kind that walked you out to the garage to show you all the problems in person that he found with your car. He also did the job in half the time in comparison to most repair shops. Had he repaired my car on this occasion as well, if I know him, he would've told me the extent of the repair within the first 15 minutes that he was working on the car, and likely had the repair done within two hours. In comparison, it took over an hour and a half for this shop to even ask for my consent for the bulk of the repairs and another 2 and half hours to complete. By industry standards, this shop is still very good, and would be rated probably as one of the best in the area. However, its still not on the same level as the auto shop I had in the past. Therefore, it still left me feeling less than completely satisfied.

Always the best. Costs a little more but extremely worth it. Fantastic service. Great quality…read morerepairs. Timely communication.

They do so much more than oil changes, in fact, they are the one-stop shop for auto maintenance, brakes, tires, diagnostics, and repair. They have 10 stations, but for oil change it's just couple of them in use. While the service was quick, place is little congested. Being my first time, I entered the parking lot not realizing where to wait in line. I was very promptly and kindly told to drive to the other side and wait in line. There was no line, no sign, and nobody to direct me, so I juts waited till they called me. A little pricey, but these guys definitely take care of you. Because of that, I always pay for the warranty, and I'm extremely glad I did. Recently, I hit something on I-20 that completely punctured my tire. I called the store, explained what happened, and they immediately guided me through the next steps and provided the number I needed to file for a tow for the following day -- which ended up being completely free. Going into it, I was bracing myself for a $300+ tire replacement. Somehow, the professionals here worked their magic and brought my total down to $97. I was honestly shocked -- and incredibly thankful. The team here is consistently professional, patient, and helpful. Even though they stay busy, they communicate clearly and keep things moving. My longest wait has been about 3 hours at most, which I consider very reasonable for a high-traffic auto service center in Atlanta. Between the warranty protection, the customer service, and the way they truly look out for their customers, this place has earned a loyal customer. I genuinely appreciate this team.

BUSINESS INTEGRITY…read more Is a car shop honest? How to tell? Observe the manager/operator. That's one way to tell. He or she sets the pace, the bar, for honesty and fairness. Jim at the Good Year Auto Service at 3298 LaVista Rd. in Tucker is one honest and fair businessman. The place is trusted by many. I could tell as I was there yesterday afternoon, 5/6/2026, observing other customers come in and leave their cars overnight for repairs. You could sense the customers' trust in the place. I myself was there to get a tire replaced. It had a puncture from a metal. The mechanics at Gwinnett Place Honda said the tire could not be fixed, so I had to get a new one. Fortunately I had purchased road hazard insurance when I bought new tires last September. Jim looked at the tire and said it could be fixed. They do it all the time. He had his guy fix the tire. No charge. I didn't need to use my road hazard insurance. Earlier, he spent 15 minutes on the computer, trying to register the road hazard insurance for the four tires I had bought last September. The "Roll by Good Year" mobile installers had not done the registration last September, so it had to be done now. I was so impressed by Jim's patience and effort at registering my tires. 15 minutes! Am so grateful. I highly recommend Jim and his auto service shop.

We provided the VIN number and tag number, and were given a detailed quote over the phone. Based on that information, we scheduled to bring the car in the next morning. When we dropped it off, we were told we would receive a call within an hour to confirm everything. About an hour later, we received a call saying the price would be significantly higher than the original quote, despite the fact that the VIN and tag number had already been provided beforehand. When we explained that the new price was much more than we had planned for and that we would need to pick up the car and figure something else out, the situation became very uncomfortable. When we arrived to get the car, the owner, David, was extremely aggressive and confrontational. His tone and behavior felt intimidating and bullying. We repeatedly asked him to simply give us the keys so we could leave. After several uncomfortable exchanges, he finally returned them, but continued to be confrontational. We ended up going to another shop less than a mile away, where the same service was completed for about a third of the price. This experience was very unprofessional and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Based on how we were treated, we would not recommend this place.

1 Star - Completely Misled and Treated Poorly…read more I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Wright's Car Care. Over the phone, I was given one set of information regarding pricing and services--only to walk into the store and be hit with something completely different. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, and when I tried to clarify the discrepancy, the guy I spoke with in person was dismissive, unhelpful, and frankly rude. There was zero effort to explain or take responsibility for the miscommunication. Instead, I was treated like I was the problem for expecting what I was told just hours before. This isn't just bad customer service--it's dishonest business practice. Save yourself the headache and take your car somewhere that values transparency and respects its customers. I'll never be back, and I'll be warning others to steer clear as well.

It's hard for me to trust people with my cars. I decided to give this place a shot after telling them exactly what parts I wanted exactly. I was nervous at first but I have now been driving my car for 4 days, I've even drove it to the mountains yesterday and they really did a great job. They change the brakes and rotors and also flushed my brakes. The brakes feel like the way they did when I first bought my car. Excellent job, especially with the flush, that can go horribly wrong if the mechanic doesn't know what they're doing. The even replaced my windshield wipers for free. Great service, good people and great mechanics! I'll be returning here for future maintenance on my baby!

I didn't realize it until I had a flat tire on Friday (1/4/2025) and went to get my spare out. Was towed to them and got a new tire. They gave me a $15 discount for forgetting to return my spare tire back in July. It would have been nice if they had contacted me back in July that they had my spare. Heard nothing from them. When I left after getting my new tire, I noticed while heading to work they didn't close my hood properly. I'm lucky as I was driving it didn't fly open. I won't be back and do not recommend this location. The staff are nice but are seemingly pretty forgetful.
