They do so much more than oil changes, in fact, they are the one-stop shop for auto maintenance, brakes, tires, diagnostics, and repair. They have 10 stations, but for oil change it's just couple of them in use. While the service was quick, place is little congested. Being my first time, I entered the parking lot not realizing where to wait in line. I was very promptly and kindly told to drive to the other side and wait in line. There was no line, no sign, and nobody to direct me, so I juts waited till they called me. A little pricey, but these guys definitely take care of you. The service at this location is the worst I've ever experienced. We arrived at 1:45, the worker flagged us over to the right lane for our oil change. We waited 30 mins as we watched two other cars go through the left lane. Finally we asked a worker if we could move over, he laughed at us. Started joking with his other coworker. One employee finally asked us to move to the right lane after 45 mins. The said they couldn't do anything for us for waiting, since they were just about to switch for lunch break... whatever that means. Not apologetic at all. Don't recommend. read more

I literally just watched one guy work on a car for 45 minutes in the express oil lane while the other two guys sat in between. When I walked up to ask how much longer on this car and if I should go to another location, the guy was like yeah if you want. Again there was a sign above that says 10 minutes. I understand not every car will take 10 min but I don't think a car should take 45 minutes. When I went to pull out, they threw me peace signs laughing. I think it's quite funny they can't change some oil in less than 45 minutes but hey! Whatever. I say all of this because I typically go to the express oil changes in east Atlanta and they are always so quick, kind, and if we do go over time they're always very reassuring and a little funny! read more

Don't use this place! I came here for a routine oil change. My car had never had any major issues before this visit. I was new to the area, and this place looked decent from the yelp reviews. About a week after my oil change here, my oil light came on. This was signaling that there was little/no oil in my car. After this came on, I was unable to drive it as it may cause engine damage. After getting it towed to nearest local shop, and getting inspected, the local shop had figured out that Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers had put two gaskets on my car (pictured below). This caused a leak, therefore a huge danger not only to me, but my mother and grandfather who used the car for a doctor's visit. Nonetheless, the engine blew because of this oil issue. I called Express Oil to see what they would do to help, but since I got it looked at by another auto shop, they refused any ounce of liability. A shame considering their inability to perform a simple oil change totaled my car. Someone at the store offered to give me some in-store credit for the damage caused. It is beyond me why they would think I would take my new car (that I had to buy because of them) back to their shop, so they can blow the engine out of that car too. I took my car in for an oil change and the line was really long but the guys were working fast to get everyone taken care of. I really appreciated them putting air in my tires without me having to ask. Honestly, I didn't know this was something they even offered. But with the seasons changing, many people that I know were complaining about their check tire lights coming on and not being able to find gas stations with working air machines. They save me a headache trying to find an air machine and time!!! This act alone had me very impressed and appreciated as a customer. read more

I visited Express Oil Change today to get my SUV serviced for a synthetic oil change. With that and the new Air Filter I paid $79. A little high but synthetic oil lasts longer and helps your vehicle perform better. I received courteous and professional Customer Service. The shop is currently under new Management and her name is Amanda. She was very friendly and nice. I would recommend this location and I'm sure I'll do business with them again for my next oil change. read more

First I would like to say since I purchased my vehicle I have been bringing my vehicle to this location for oil changes because it's right around the corner from my house. Secondly when I brought my vehicle there it turns out the previous owner also use this company for oil changes. My issue is not the service they provide. My issue is with the customer service. Yesterday, I pulled up to the location at 5:10 and was sitting behind two other vehicles waiting to get a oil change. Around 530 another vehicle pulled up next to me. A white man came from out of the garage and put a cone down in front of the car next to me, walked over to the driver side window of the vehicle. The driver was a white man. So the employee and the potential customer chatted and laughed a bit then the driver pulled off. Then this employee took a second cone out it in front of my vehicle while looking directly at me then walked away back into the garage. So I sat there for a minute wandering if I was gonna be afforded the same consideration as the white man who pulled up 20 minutes after me. He didn't not. He walked up to another employee and left me there to figure out for myself that they were not gonna service me. So I got out of my vehicle and approached the garage. I said "excuse me? I've been sitting here since 5:10 waiting on an oil change. I found it to be very rude that you would give the white man the courtesy of letting him know you weren't gonna service him but you look me dead in my eyes and don't say a word and just put a cone out and walked away." The employee proceeded to lie and tell me he was coming back to tell me but he was busy multi tasking which was not true. This man was walking away and wasn't gonna say anything g to me if I didn't say anything to him. I got very upset bc now I feel like you think I'm stupid. So I told him if he is multi tasking then he needs to prioritize customer service and I found him to be rude and very disrespectful by the way he handled things. There was no reason after he addressed the white man that he couldn't come over to me and address the black woman who was waiting longer. I will not be returning to this location bc I feel that the employee didn't feel he owed me the same amount of decency and respect that he afforded the older white man next to me. I truly believe his actions were racially motivated and he views me as less than. Now you guys have lost a loyal customer. read more

#1 I called in advance about the wait and was told, 20 min wait, 10 min service. Service light had come on as we were headed out of town Labor Day weekend. Website Directions are wrong. They take you to Mavis Tire in Duluth. Waste of 30 min. #2 When I finally found the business, I told the office employee who I had previously talked to about the incorrect directions. He said that's not our fault , it's Google's fault. He already knew there was a problem. I said it's your website? Surly response: not our fault. #3 Waited about 20 min got to bay, pulled in. Another surly employee no greeting when I said hello, how are you. No please or thank you during entire time while in car as oil was changed. Directions to turn on and off car to reset service lights- surly, no inflection, nothing polite about it. It took 40 min- part of time tech was on phone. #4 On leaving- no thank you, please come again. $136. Not one ounce of gratitude. Express Oil Change doesn't deserve my business. read more

****Realized I never posted a review on Yelp for this horrid establishment. Here it is. Please do not make the same mistake as I did. Go elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!**** This is a copied message of my complaint submitted to the BBB. I will post screenshots of their response as well as mine. This is still unresolved and after realizing that I have documentation supporting my claim, they did not respond. (READ BELOW) Went in for a basic service, the service was not executed properly and now my vehichle is inoperable. On July 29, 2019, I took my vehicle to the Express Oil Change shop located at 5722 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard Chamblee, GA 30341 for a basic oil change around 12:15pm. This was my first time bringing my 2011 Nissan Sentra to this specific location and I assumed that they would be as efficient and thorough as the other location I normally went to. Upon arrival, I pulled my vehicle in and requested a standard oil change for $39.99 and was later persuaded by one of the workers to go ahead and add an air filter for an additional fee of $23.99. I took his advice and within ten to fifteen minutes, I swiped my VISA card, was given my receipt for $62.27, and was sent on my way. After leaving the lot, I immediately noticed that I no longer had any pressure on my brakes and could not properly stop my car at the upcoming traffic light. I was so confused and frightened because I had absolutely no issues with my brakes or anything else before the service was performed. I slowly made my way back to the shop to explain to them what was going on. The worker who had just done my oil change asked me, "So do you want a mechanic to look at it?" as if he didn't understand the problem. I was instructed to get out of my car and wait in the lobby area until they could figure out the issue. After more than a half an hour later, I was told that one of my rear wheel cylinders broke and it was merely a coincidence. I was charged $241.71 for two rear wheel cylinders and the labor performed on it via card. Before the transaction even took place, one of the workers (Johnnie) was asked if there were any other issues or problems. Johnnie assured that this was all that my vehicle needed and that everything else was fine. I took his word and proceeded to pay out for the second time that day at 2:26pm. Two hours later around 4:30pm, my vehicle was released and they again assured me that all was well. Five hours after the service, my car began to make the most horrendous noise and would no longer accelerate forward. After towing my vehicle back to my home, I proceeded to go on their website and write an email. The store manager, Chris, called me back the following business day and informed me that he could set up a tow to have my vehicle REINSPECTED AT ANOTHER LOCATION due to his workers being "apprehensive" when questioned about my situation. I agreed and never heard from the Chamblee location again. The store manager at the other location (MANSELL) proceeded to inform me, to the best of his abilities, that there were a few possibilities for my cars dysfunction but was not entirely sure what went wrong at the Chamblee location. We both agreed, however, that the Chamblee location may not have been as thorough as they should have been. In less than twelve hours, my car went from being fully functional to being almost completely inoperable at the hands of this establishment. After this disaster, I saw that there were actually a few Google reviews on this location from consumers with similar experiences. Sadly, I found out too late. read more

I was a customer here for 10 plus years but I've had it with this place. Never had any issues until this specific location. The first instance I had personally just changed all the filters on my car and one of the techs tried to tell me I needed new ones. I was furious- as a woman I already feel I'm taken advantage of in these situations but to know it so clearly and blatantly, I was irate. The manager did make it right on this occasion though. Here's what I cannot accept. I do not drive much anymore. Maybe 1 time a week at most I use my vehicle. Brought it in for a standard oil change and then it sat in my driveway for weeks before needing to go anywhere. I had to take it to an actual shop for a timing belt issue the next time I drove. I noticed when I moved my vehicle that oil had been leaking. I thought it must be from the previous oil change getting caught in the bumper. The other shop put my car on the lift and physically let me look at the oil leak before doing any other diagnostic exam on it. My oil plug had been totally stripped- causing the leak.I have never taken my car anywhere else for oil changes and it was after the oil change here. I called the manager at EOC and he was extremely defensive. A clear indication of guilt- I can imagine he gets these calls a lot. He was dismissive and rude because I told him of the findings. He said "it's probably just a plug, bring it in and we will replace it" I told him that wasn't the problem- that they had likely used an air wrench to tighten it and stripped the plug entirely. He was again very defensive and his attitude showed very clearly he knew an employee of his was at fault but didn't want to admit that. I had to spend nearly $600 dollars to fix a mistake they carelessly made. I'll never come here again and advise others don't either. They do things quickly, haphazardly, and will upcharge and try to bamboozle you at every turn. I'm so very disappointed that they chose to treat an extremely loyal customer this way. It's a shame truly. DO NOT CALL ME TO TRY AND REMEDY THIS- I WILL NOT REMOVE THIS REVIEW NOR ENTERTAIN YOUR CALLS AND PLEAS FOR REMOVAL OF THIS AS YOU DID LAST TIME. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Sad to know that you're just the stereotypical crap shop trying to get one over on everyone and not be accountable. read more

I just bought a new-to-me 2021 hybrid CRV and had these guys do the once over before purchase. SOO many times I had come in for oil change with my 2014 Honda sedan and was told it wasn't necessary yet. They still checked all my fluids and tires,etc then sent me on my way... for FREE!!! I pulled in and requested an oil change and emissions test. The technician started the oil change and asked for which kind of oil I wanted. I didn't know, so I asked him to explain, then he said my total was $131. I asked why it was that high for an oil change and emissions test. He started explaining about a diagnostic. I asked why he was doing a diagnostic and since when is a diagnostic necessary for an emissions test or an oil change. He never answered, never explained, never apologized, just gave me a $71 quote without the diagnostic. I ended up getting my emissions done down the street for $15. Don't go here, they'll try to give/charge you services you don't need or asked for. Also, $55 for an oil change is too high, especially considering it took them longer than the advertised 10 minutes to complete. read more

As a business person I can appreciate the challenge of ensuring employees following company policy. Thanks. Initial experience: I understand everyone has different views regarding mask wearing. When I came to have my oil changed I respectfully asked the attendant who was not wearing a mask (nor anyone of the other service personnel), if he could put on a mask. He did so and then started to service my car. He later took off his mask. I asked him at the point of paying to graciously put the mask back on. He was confused at first and then let me repeatedly respectfully ask if he would put his mask back on. He ignored me and finally I was force to put my window down to pay. As a customer for twenty years with more than seven cars service here, it is disappointing that the current management is so irresponsible about customer service. read more
