Tommy and his crew said they could help me. First, he handed me a nice cold bottle of water. Then, they were able to get off the cap and pour the oil in until I could get to my next oil change. And if that wasn't nice enough, Tommy then washed my windshield. They didn't charge me anything for this, as I had already bought the oil elsewhere. MECHANIC WARNING!! I called Jay with "Certified Mobile Automotive Repairs" to work on my vehicle…read more He was very responsive starting out. We agreed to meet 10/10:30am. I let him know that I was running a little late, but that I'd be ready 11:15 or sooner. That's when he said he would be a little late too, but didn't give me a time or confirm that he received the address. So I texted again to ask if he needed more time. He didn't respond until 12:15 to say he had an emergency and that he'd be able to come to me at 2:30. It's likely, the "emergency" was another repair job, even though I was booked at 10. He finally showed at 2:05, and truthfully he was nice and jumped right to work. Did some troubleshooting and figured it was an easy fix that only took 30mins. We had a great convo, and I offered more work for him. He immediately texted me after he left with parts and price for the next job. But the next day, I started experiencing the same issue again, so I texted him to let him know. No response. I text again 3 days later to check in and gave him the days I was available, he says he'd let me know when he was free... without an apology or trying to set a date or plan to get it fixed. I texted him multiple times after that to book a date since it was getting closer to the weekend, but I didn't get a response until I asked if he had a referral to someone else. He said he had truck issues (which is weird for a mechanic), and asks if I could come to him. Really, I think he just didn't want to drive to me, even though he's a mobile mechanic... but I agree and ask for an address. Again, no response. It wasn't until I told him that I was leaving a review, was when he started being responsive quickly like he did in the beginning. He said he was sick and vomiting, which is why he didn't see my text asking for the address. Then he said he could come to me first thing in the morning, so apparently he had time to "fix his truck" yesterday during the time he was "sick". Now I need a new mechanic because the work that he did, didn't fix the issue. I will never use him again, and I spent all that money for nothing. So be careful! And if anyone has a referral to someone else, please let me know!! I have 4 vehicles between my fiancé and I, so I need someone I can rely on regularly.
