Im getting new brakes and rotors installed 5/1/2026. The service is okay, nobody is rude HOWEVER I was told that the labor and everything would only take an hour and it ended up taking right under 3 hours. Take that info how you will, to me time is important and to wait 3x the estimated time is ridiculous. This will be my last time here. All the 1 star reviews are true and I hope I saw them earlier, lots of word play and useless bill trying to scam you. Below are three brief facts you can go through (FYI: if you don't have enough time, read the second part about Compulsory consumption): 1.Overpriced and inefficiency 2561.8 USD for one single catalyst converter and two oxygen sensor being replaced. Dropped off my car on Wednesday at 10:00am was told by Mario the work would be done by Thursday morning but they didn't start the work till Friday noon. When I found out their lies about the progress on my car and request to take my car back due to the discrepancy with our prior agreement Mario made another lie "The car is torn apart". I went there on Friday noon and the only thing they did is lifting my car up. 2. Compulsory consumption Here comes the most interesting part and why I paid money for it: With nothing being replaced and being told "they're currently working on it" for days. I told Mario to stop further work on my vehicle and I would pay for the diagnose fee and whatever service they performed. He declined and said, WORD BY WORD: The only way to get my car back is to pay the money and they don't mind keeping my car if I don't pay. I'm so shocked by his word that I need to double confirm did he really mean it. Scummy and dishonest at their finest. They really want to scam that money bad. 3.Rude and unprofessional Enough sentences on the guy named Mario. Mike Apollonio might seem friendly when you haven't agreed their work on your car verbally but after that when I came to the shop again no acknowledge he just ignored me. I don't mind cause I just wanted to get my car fixed ASAP. Then he POINTED HIS FINGER at me while mumbled to Mario and staring at me, in an unpleasant way. I was being polite through out the whole process so if you guys don't want to provide service to a woman of color then don't scam my money and have a terrible attitude. Funny enough this guy Mike has a LinkedIn profile, his title is general manger and he never had any mechanic experience according to his LinkedIn profile so if I'm a new customer I would doubt the authenticity of these 5 star comment saying he is the head mechanic (he's not). I don't want to go in details about my unpleasant experience with this store and their legal cases & their background check so far I've only posted small portion of it, so don't even bother to harass me to change my review. My bad I should do a background check before go here and I was fooled by their initial friendliness which lasted for 30 minutes. Please, you take your vehicle here at your own risk. It is very likely that you will have to take the vehicle to another auto repair company or dealership. my only wish is that I had read reviews before allowing our care to be serviced here. I think of you have had issues here you should combine your experience with those of us who are suing so that this business is not allowed to take folks money without the applicable repairs being completed. In our case we brought the vehicle in for a diagnostic repair because the car was over heating. We were not sure of the cause, hence the request for the inspection and diagnostic testing. It appeared as each day passed they added on another need that was always associated with safety or some danger of the car being a danger on the road so that they would get us to approve the service. In call they came back with 6 items to service. We agreed to each of them after their explanation of possible collision, damage, safety if we failed to get the repairs. We paid them in all over $ 2,000.00 for the repairs. We picked up the car and within 30 minutes down the road the car is smoking and had to be towed right back to Advantage. They now have the car and said they car has engine damage and that it has nothing to do with repairs that they did. They never told us what it would cost to repair it, just that it would be available for pick up. We have made arrangements to have the car towed to a dealership. We would like to file a law suite, not just for the 2k but for the expenses that we will incur from the future repairs and the needed transportation today. This is an integrity issue. We don't think the inspection was done. In fact the same issues that we had from the start is the same problem. The Manager while smiles and kindness is just going to provide you with lip serviceZ He is good talker but short on the deliverables. I think they don't make enough money and they are really struggling to keep afloat so that they have to keep everyone's money even when they have supposedly completed a diagnostic test. In our case had a full diagnostic - /inspection been done. If you too have experienced this issue please share and provide a way to contact you. if everyone allows Advantage to treat customers this way, then they will always harm unsuspecting people who simply need a repair. PLEASE READ IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING USING THIS BUSINESS! I currently have a BBB and Napa suit filed against this service center. I have a 2002 Mercedes ML320. I've had this car for years. It's my baby and I recently had had some intermittent air conditioning issues. I work in Marietta, so I was looking for a service center nearby. After going to Jennifer (manager) I was told they would take care of the car no problem. After having the car for a week, I was told it needed a new fan clutch, so I ordered one from FCP Euro (European parts supplier). I gave it to them to install and got a call a few days later. During this call, I was told it needed a new fuse box. So I ordered that as well. I delivered it and they said they would have it buttoned up in a few days. Two weeks goes by and I have called twice and heard nothing in return. I then show up and am told the car has electrical issues and was botched. I was also told that only mercedes could repair the car. After the washed their hands with my car, I paid them 650 for nothing and picked the car up. I go to pull out of the driveway and every light comes on in the dash and the car shuts off. I get it to my office where I have a friend inspect it to find the fuse box isn't screwed in and wiring harnesses are hanging everywhere. I call and speak to Jennifer and she asked for me to drop it back off. I dropped it off and they tried to pin my new fuse box as the issue. So I had them install my old one back and told them to diagnose the issue with the ac since it still wasn't fixed. At this point I have filed a complaint with NAPA (corporate affiliate). I was told to leave my car with them till it gets resolved. At this point they have had the car for other a month. I was told they were ordering the parts and would get it taken care of. Now it needed a new compressor and harness. I wait a week for the pricing on that and get nothing. So I called earlier today and was told the part couldn't be ordered. I told them I was coming yo get the car. After getting the car home, I got up under it to find the compressor was unplugged and the wiring harness was frayed but fixable. I got some electrical tape and plugged it back in and all was well! So after 650, 2 months, and lots of of frustration, I'm beyond upset. I'll continue to fight the battle on my end, I want to warn you. I picked this service based off its great reviews. But these reviews are not what I experienced. Please stay clear of this service center because not only are they going to rip you off, but they are going to tear up your car too! read more

BEWARE !!!! do not DO not take your vehicle to this place to have ANYTHING done!!! I simply went in to have an oil change done, typically I would go to dealership, however since they were offering a coupon and was less than 5 minutes away I stopped. God as my witness I wish I never did. They had me sit a wait about 45-50 minutes before the so-called manager (mike) stated he sent me a pic of my oil value cap ?? This has never been done by the dealership, then proceeded to say the cap for reason does not fit properly or loose?? Stated they will see if they can order the part I said ok but I really need to go it was over an hour now. Came back within another 10 minutes to say they would have to replace the entire Value cover!!! $1500.00 later!! Not taking responsibility or fault to say THEY broke it or cracked it. All of my oil lights, Check engine and oil lamp lights are illuminated and all he says is well this happens with normal wear and tear !!! Not trying to make a wrong right or correct their mistakes. If they had told me prior to touching my vehicle and given me the choice to say whatever happens happens... then I could have made the decision to walk out....Please do not take your vehicle for any type of service...This man is a smiling swindler and crook !!! The people here are very nice. I had my car towed here after my engine overheated on the highway; it just happened to be the nearest AAA-accredited mechanic in the area. Turned out my car's engine was damaged beyond repair (aluminum engine.... *sigh*) and would cost $5,000+ to replace, and that didn't even include the cost of finding and then fixing whatever actually caused the engine to overheat in the first place. He said he would call around to other parts dealers to see if there were any cheaper prices, but he didn't think he would find anything significantly cheaper. My only real complaint (and the reason for the 4 star review) is that when I asked whether the car -- at 14 years old with just under 200,000 miles -- was worth the extra investment, I couldn't get a straight answer; the closest I got was "It COULD be," along with an interrogation about whether I would want to have to get accustomed to a different car when I was already familiar with this one. I basically had to do my own research to discover that the car was totaled. I decided to donate it, and the guy was really supportive of the decision. He let my fiancé and I drive our car into the lot usually used just for the cars stored there for maintenance so that we could more easily get all of my stuff out of it. He was okay with the Wheels for Wishes people picking the car up from his lot, too. I decided to bring the car I was thinking of buying back here for a pre-purchase inspection, and I was remembered immediately on sight. Overall, I get the feeling that the people here really care about the cars they work on and the people that come to them for help. Maybe if I had already been a regular customer, the guy would have been able to give me a bit more of an answer to my question about the value of the repairs because he would have known me well enough to know what information I was looking for. recently I took my SUV to this location because a code came up at AutoZone saying I needed my oxygen sensor replaced in order to pass emissions. I went to advantage to get an estimate all I wanted to know was how much it would cost to have the sensor replaced. they put the computer to the car just as AutoZone did and told me I need a sensor. then they put the car up on the lift in my opinion there is no reason why the car should've gone up on the lift. I knew exactly what it needed to be replaced And after them putting the computer to it they knew exactly what needed to be replaced so why was the car on the lift you ask? After the car was put on the lift I was told that I have a brake line leak and the car was very dangerous to drive. out of concern I asked them what needed to be fixed to make the car safe again. now it was an additional 89 to find out what was wrong. so I went in for one problem and now was $225 to replace the sensor and $89 to find out what was wrong with my brake line. I didn't do any of the repairs I kind of sat around and ignored it. today a month later I went to a different shop. I asked them how much it would be to replace the sensor they told me it was $50 for the sensor part and $60 to install it. Deal I said. I also asked today's shop to look at the brake lines and see if there is a leak or problem. I wasn't charged to get an estimate of what might be wrong. He said that my brake line is leaking and he will have to replace the hose and connector, and the car would be too dangerous to drive without it. being it was the second mechanic that told me there was something wrong I said go ahead and fix it right away. He said he was going to replace the hose first and then see if that stops the leak. then he returned five minutes later and said that somebody had loosened one of the connectors and all he had to do was tighten it up and the leak has stopped. now I cannot say for certain how does that happened but what do you think. I went to advantage for one simple thing the car went on the lift and was raised in the air for no reason, I was told that there is a leak on my brakes and this is the first I've heard of it it would be $89 to diagnose and it had to be done right away for fear of crashing. as I said I cannot be certain but I'm pretty sure that Advantage loosened the connection, in order to sell me something I didn't need. I had no problems with the brakes and there was no leak or anything on the ground before I went for this estimate. First, i gave a one because i could not go lower. Should be negative five. BUYER BEWARE. this service center does not perform services you request but charges as though they do. I set up to take my truck in by asking if they can rebuild an oil cooler. told yes so i towed it in. Was recommended by AAA. spoke with Jasper and told him i wanted Oil cooler rebuilt and when they replace the coolant, use factory additive and when they replace the oil, use factory oil filter. He told me they use Napa and i stated no, i want only factory parts. Told him i had a small fuel leak please find and advise, had a pop noise in the steering please check ball joints and advice. Told him i had ball joints replaced and a fuel sensor. Received call from shop claiming my valve cover gaskets we bad and needed replaced, fuel pump leaks and needed new gasket, leak found at trans dip stick, popping noise is track bar ball joints ok. I approved all repairs less the valve cover gaskets as they were brand new, told shop to torque the valve cover bolts. Picked up truck i noticed the cost of the oil cooler o-ring only $17.44 so i asked, "is this for one o-ring or a set" and was told it was a set. I stated that sets are usually $65-70 so i wanted to check and was told, they get better pricing. Being a Napa center i went with it. I was a fool to believe i would get repairs done. a short time later the fuel started leaking but could not verify from where. then the oil started leaking and it appeared to be coming from front of engine. Being that i was not in Maryland, i called around and found a shop who could lift the truck. i left it there while on vacation and during this time the shop informed me, the fuel pump was leaking real bad around the gasket, and the oil was from the oil cooler as it appears damaged. They removed the oil cooler as it needed replacing and found an aftermarket o-ring was replaced and only one. the complete oil cooler system was NOT rebuilt. (new o-rings) and there was damage from either being dropped or being forced back together with a hammer. i had to replace the entire cooler and fuel pump. I contacted Advantage and was told by the lady, i had only paid for a band-aid repair and that is what i got. $1200 was more than enough for an oil cooler rebuild, new fuel pump gasket, trans dip stick and diagnostics on steering. Eric then confirmed they only replaced one o-ring and stated, "that is all you authorized". I explained i had questions the cost and was told it was an o-ring kit. I do not half-ass repair my truck and would never had authorized $1200 for patch work. they refuse to refund the money they stole so they have been reported to AAA and Napa as they are AAA rated and a Napa name. I will then proceed with legal action seeking full refund plus punitive damage up to and including a mark against their licence. I do not take lies and theft lightly. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP unless you have extra cash to burn. read more

Had vehicle towed to this repair shop because they were NAPA certified. Specifically, asked them to check the bearings on the alternator. They said nothing was wrong. Took vehicle to Florida for work related jobs. Broke down on the Turnpike and sure enough BEARINGS WENT OUT IN THE ALTERNATOR!!! Called to try and give them a chance to make it right and they were rude and disrespectful, could not give a good explanation of what they checked or how it might have been missed.
