If I could give 6 stars, I would…read more I had a mobile dent repair guy attempt to fix scratches someone left on my new car on the bumper and grill and he used matte black (my car is gloss black) when he told me he had the correct paint color... He also broke the bumper clips that ended up being unsalvageable according to Bobby (owner of Platinum). He got overspray everywhere and broke parts that shouldn't have needed to be replaced. So an absolute waste of $500 on top of making the car look worse than it did before he touched it. I have been looking at getting it fixed for some time now and I came across Platinum Collision Repair and saw the great reviews and gave it a shot. When I arrived I saw a bunch of cars in the shop that looked pretty much brand new so I knew I was in probably in good hands. I was instantly greeted by the owner and I showed him the damage. He gave me a free quote within 3 mins of me being there. I took some time to see if I wanted to wait a few months or do it now but after seeing person after person come to drop off their car within 5 mins of me trying to make a decision in the parking lot, I felt that was all the convincing I needed, so I got him to go ahead and do it. I dropped the car off 7-25 (Saturday afternoon) and it was done 7-29(Wednesday morning). He told me Thursday just to be safe and I get a call on Wednesday morning at 9am that it's ready. That's including them ordering a new grill, new bumper and painting. They are closed Sundays and I brought it later in the afternoon on Saturday so really it only took them 3ish days to order the parts, do all the necessary repairs to other parts not being replaced, paint the car and they even washed it for me! These guys at Platinum killed it and the owner Bobby was seriously so helpful and did his best to get me right after getting screwed over and save me as much money as possible. He even buffed the overspray off my headlight for me and it looks like a brand new headlight now. The car now looks like how it looked when it came off the delivery truck a year ago. They did the job for so cheap too! Can't recommend them enough... so much so that my mom is asking me what's the address and telling me she doesn't care that it's over an hour and a half away from her after seeing the results lol. Went to pick up my car around 3pm Monday afternoon and didn't look in the back seat until 5:50pm when I noticed the back seat ripped up with the seat cushion foam all over the seat (like an animal got inside). I immediately reached out to East Cobb Auto and they claim the rip didn't happen on their watch and I must have ripped up the seat in those two hours and brought it back for them to repair. Obviously it happened from Saturday to Monday while in their custody. They claim they do a four door inspection upon completion of work. Obviously that didn't happen either. East Cobb Auto would not cover the seat repair costs I incurred nor did they offer to cover any portion of the repair cost. We have been customers for over 30 years and this was handled very poorly and unprofessionally. Would not recommend leaving your car in their care.
