5/5 I've been…read morebringing my vehicles to Mac Crawford for well over a decade, and there's a reason I continue to come back. Mac is reliable, honest, knowledgeable, and his prices have always been fair and affordable. I've never felt like I was being sold something I didn't need, and I've never had an issue with the quality of his work. That kind of trust is hard to find when it comes to auto repair. What I appreciate most is that you don't feel like just another number here. Mac takes the time to explain what's going on with your vehicle, what actually needs to be done, and what your options are. There's a level of personal service and accountability that you just don't get everywhere. There was even one occasion when my vehicle needed something Mac wasn't able to handle. Instead of attempting a repair outside of his expertise or simply turning me away, he referred me to someone who could take care of it properly. That told me everything I needed to know about his integrity. He knows what he's doing, and if something is outside of his scope, he'll be honest about it and point you in the right direction. After more than ten years of consistently good experiences, I can confidently say Mac is someone I trust with my vehicles. Great service, fair pricing, honest advice, and someone who genuinely treats his customers like people rather than transactions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Crawford's Auto Repair.

My car is 11 years old, which means it's about time things start to wear out. I moved to Marietta 5…read moreyears ago and tried a few auto shops. They were okay -- not great, just okay. I almost stuck with one place, but they tried to upsell me on things I didn't need, so I kept looking. I read a bunch of good reviews about Crawford's and decided to give them a try. Fast forward to now -- I've been using them for 4 years for various services. Sometimes it's just a simple oil change or routine maintenance; other times, it's more involved repairs. They haven't disappointed me once. Mac is always on point. He clearly explains what's going to be done and how much it will cost. He looks out for your best interest and suggests the most cost-efficient (not necessarily cheapest) repair option. He's also trustworthy -- if a repair part acts up, he won't back out. He honors his warranty. I take both my car and my wife's car here -- and only here.

We brought our Jeep in about a week ago for an oil change. While we were there, we specifically…read moretold your team that we were about to leave on a road trip and needed everything double-checked to make sure the vehicle was safe and ready to travel. One week later, we left for that road trip and almost immediately received a low-pressure notification from the vehicle. We turned around, went back home, and found oil all over our driveway. We are now sitting at a Firestone waiting for them to fix a leak at the oil drain plug that was completely ignored by your technicians. Furthermore, the only oil they found in the vehicle seems like old oil that was never changed in the first place. This is completely unacceptable. We did exactly what responsible customers are supposed to do. We brought the vehicle in before a road trip, clearly explained the situation, and trusted your staff to do the job properly. Instead, we are dealing with a potentially serious issue, a ruined travel day, oil on our driveway, and the added time and expense of having another shop inspect your work. You have lost us as customers permanently. I also want to be very clear that I intend to make sure people know exactly what happened at this location. I will be sharing this experience honestly and publicly because I do not believe people should trust a shop that sends a customer out the door after an oil change and "road trip check," only for that customer to find oil leaking all over their driveway a week later. This was careless, unacceptable, and completely destroyed our trust in your business.

They use a tiered computer program system that spits out the two highest oil changes and do not let the customers see any of the other options. Thievery! Before service, my vehicle had no oil leaks, which was confirmed by their initial inspection report. A trainee worked on my vehicle during the service. After the oil change, I was suddenly told my car had an oil leak and was given a second inspection printout that directly contradicted the first. I drove straight home and immediately found fresh oil pooling in my driveway, which continued to worsen overnight while the car was parked. When I returned, I was told the drain plug was cross-threaded. That explanation later changed to the damage being "pre-existing," despite no leak prior to service and no disclosure before reinstalling the plug. I was then sent to BMW and told to contact Corporate. BMW's inspection resulted in an estimated $5,000 in required repairs related to oil leakage and associated damage. Valvoline Corporate later attempted to minimize the issue by saying reimbursement was "at the discretion of the shop," even though this damage appeared immediately after their service. Between poor workmanship, contradictory documentation, and shifting explanations to avoid responsibility, this was one of the worst automotive service experiences I've had. A simple oil change turned into thousands of dollars in damage. If you value your vehicle--especially a BMW or any car requiring care--do not trust this location.
