They were able to identify the issue and resolve it in a timely manner. I know for a lot of car repair shops, it often takes days maybe even sometimes weeks to do a big repair. In my case, I had a semi-intense repair needed for my engine and they were able to resolve it within 2 days. As a woman, it is important to me that I am being treated fairly and with kindness when engaging in conversations and inquiries with a car repair shop. The shop was very clean which is important to me since often times, people will choose to wait in the shop why their car is being repaired or services. As stated, they were very informative, approachable, and even showed pictures displaying the issue of my car while also providing the severity of it. It's been about 3 weeks since my repair and I haven't had any issues with it since. Definitely will be my go to car repair shop if I ever run into any issues in the future.

My wife and I were stranded on the road and had to call a tow truck. I had my truck towed to a shop and was told I needed a new transmission and it would be $2900. I took my truck to Transmissions by Joe for a second opinion. Right from the first call "Jim" was extremely helpful and listened to my concerns. He told me they would evaluate the problem and figure it out. I stopped by their shop after closing time to drop off the truck and was surprised to find Jim still at the front desk. Even though it was past closing, he took a ride with me in the truck to hear the problem. He suggested that the issue could be a faulty transmission filter (I had recently replaced it myself). Jim also offered to give me a ride home, so I didn't have to wait for my wife to pick me up! One day after dropping off the truck, Jim called and said it was fixed. I was in disbelief. He said they dropped the transmission pan and replaced the filter. The filter was defective like he had thought. My truck runs as good as new and it did not cost me a fortune! I brought my car in to have the front bumper replaced, and was **never told** it would cost an additional \$1,500-\$2,000 to have it painted. I was in constant contact with Juan (owner's son), and I totally feel as if he took advantage of me. When I arrived to pick my car up and saw that UGLY bumper, I was floored! And oh, he was VERY apologetic for "not telling me" the bumper came primed AFTER I'd already paid them \$1,100, but made zero effort, ZERO attempt to make it right and retain my business. He had the nerve to say out of his mouth, "Ma'am, we wanted to do our best to save you money and get your back to you as soon as possible." What??!! I am no dummy. I know what primed means. I know that many exterior car part replacements come primed, which is why I texted Juan while they still had my car to request a quote to replace my passenger-side mirror and SPECIFICALLY asked for a bottom line that includes the cost to paint it which, by the way, was a ridiculous amount! He actually tried to tell me it was that expensive because they have to 'program' it. Goodbye! What hurts even more is that I truly believe I was treated differently -- and unfairly -- because I came in alone as a woman. I had taken my car here once before in 2024, but that time my ex-husband was with me. The difference was night and day: the communication was clear, the pricing was fair, and I felt respected. Aamco saved me $$$ and I received stellar treatment! I have read mixed reviews about this location taking too long to follow up or a customer's car has been sitting too long. It happens everywhere. sometimes when we are experiencing a time crunch, we expect businesses to bump us up. That is not reality. Since the pandemic, autoparts have been difficult to obtain. Next purchases the most expensive service available and during the work , I hear banging and then several people standing around. Apparently, they couldn't get the oil filter off, and didn't have the right tool to do so. They offered to try something with no guarantee and when asked what would happen if it didn't work, I was informed that they'd have the truck towed at my expense. Upon leaving they offered an apology, but no restitution for charging me for the oil filter. Not recommended
