I took my car into KM Auto Care because my A/C went out dead of the summer, July. My condenser had to be replace because it had a hole in it. ($1000) I took it back a few days later because it was not cooling like it should. Kent said they put more coolant in it. Two (2) days shy of my warranty expiring, my A/C stopped working again, so I took it back for them to look at it. Kent said they flushed it and added coolant in it. Less than a week later, my A/C stopped working again. This time I took it to someone else and they did a DYE test. Sure enough, my condenser was leaking, it had a hole. WHAT?? KM Auto just looked at it and said everything was fine. I pay another $1000 (a year later) for ANOTHER condenser. Did KM give me faulty parts? When the other auto place that replaced my condenser, they asked me what happened to my "air box silencer tube for the air filter box." It was missing. KM Auto did NOT put this back on my car. I never thought to look under the hood to see if all the parts to my car were there. I googled this part and it is NOT a small part...WHO FORGOTS TO PUT A PART LIKE THAT BACK ON and HOW??!!. When I took it back to have them look at the condenser while it was under warranty, I asked Kent about it and he told me that I didn't need it anyway. It doesn't effect how the car drives, just make sure NO WATER GETS IN THERE BECAUSE IT CAN DAMAGE YOUR MOTOR. WHAT THE WHAT???!!! Since they are the ones that forgot to put it back, Kent never asked me if I wanted him to replace the part and put it back on. Just told me I didn't need it. A few months later, I was washing my car, and noticed that the wheel fender around my tires where not put on correctly, they were not aligned and some of the snaps were not connected so it left a gab between the wheel fender and my car. When I went to pick my car up the first time, I asked Kent to replace my wipers, well, they forgot to turn my wipers off...and without the wiper blade on the bar, the metal bar scraped across my windshield leaving scratches on on my drivers side, they cleaned my windshield and told me it was fine. The scratches across my drivers side is pretty evident. This was my experience with KM Auto Care!! I will never use KM Auto again and I would never recommend them to anyone! read more

My aunt first introduced me to KM Auto Care about 10 years ago and I've been a loyal customer ever since! Kent, Mark, and the rest of the team are great at what they do and have never steered me wrong. In college, I worked at a car dealership for a little while and I saw service customers get taken advantage of every day; something KM has never done to me or anyone I know who goes there. They are honest and have never done less than top-notch work on any vehicle I've taken to them. I am amazed of how WONDERFUL these guys are! I highly RECOMMEND K&M auto for anything you might need done with your vehicle. Earlier today i went to Nissan town center location in Kennesaw and practically got raped for only diagnosing my electrical problem for $250 ! I dropped off my Nissan to this dealer yesterday after 4pm and was told that it wouldnt be looked at until this morning at 7 am. Well at 8 am i recieved a call telling me what i already knew and still charged me the 2 HOUR MINUMUM of $250 electrical diagnoses. Kent at K& M diagnosed and fixed my tail light while i watched in about 15 minutes. WOW! He charged me a very reasonable rate that didnt exceed their normal $102 an hour labor fee and helped me with codes for my car AND PRINTED OUT a Nissan recall that i was never told about at the dealership. This is a family run place and it is clear they dont ever rip you off. The 3 men helping me and coaching as to my next steps were wonderful, funny and helpful human beings. I will entrust my car here from now until FOREVER! AND i am telling everyone i know in my kennesaw community to try these guys so you dont get screwed over by others. read more

Very unsatisfied with my service. My car wasn't running so I researched shops in my area and I found KM and they had good ratings so I thought I'd give them a shot. That was a mistake! They charged me $90 to "listen to my motor" and determine it needed a new motor. I asked what happened and the answer I received from the tech "It could be 1 of a hundred things". I asked how much to replace the motor and I was told " Probably like 4-5k. Not worth replacing the motor. It was like I was bothering them. After taking to some friends they recommended C&P auto. C&P gave me the same diagnoses, the difference is the explained what they believe happened to the motor. When I asked for a quote they gave me a quote with a breakdown of the charges. Never did they act like I was bothering them. I went with them. Very happy with their work at C&P! read more

These guys are the best! Kent and Marc are always very attentive and helpful. They are patient and kind in response to my ignorant questions. I have been coming to KM since I was able to drive in 1999 (thanks to my mom and dad for introducing us-who are also life long customers). Over the years, I have taken my various cars to be serviced at Toyota because it was closer to where I lived, but I was noticing that every time that I went to Toyota, they decided they need to do this or that, and up went my bill. After the third time, I decided to bring it back to KM Auto care, because I know these men are trustworthy. Before, Toyota would tell me I need xyz, and KM would say yes you do need xyz but not for another 20k miles. I happily drive 40 minutes each way to KM to get both mine and my husband's car serviced. They have always taken such good care of our cars. Matter of fact, I bought by Toyota with 55k miles on it and it's pushing 200k, and KM has been caring for it for the majority of that time. I've been taking my family's cars to K&M Auto. For over 20 years. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else.

At K M you are not paying for shiny, large, new waiting rooms. Instead you are paying for guys who love what they do and won't try to rip you off. I have two great experiences to share: In my old car my steering wheel would shake and three shops couldn't figure out why. Took it to K M for an oil change when a friend recommended them and the mechanic told me he put in the missing motor mounts when he changed the oil free of charge. The never ending problem was solved. In my new car, I took it to the dealership for recalls and an oil change and they told me I needed to spend $3000 on a motor mount harness due to a chipmunk eating it. When I had K M check it out, they laughed and said there was one bite, but it didn't need a repair nor the full replacement the dealership recommended. read more

I called them and they were very busy, but I explained my situation, and they told me to bring my car in. I had the car there in 10 minutes and they found the issue in a matter of 30 minutes. Within 2 hours, all was fixed and the car was running like new again. K M Auto Care, Inc. did the job right and at a fair price. It has been months since the engine was repaired and is still running strong! My son is a student at Ksu and took his G-35 into the shop with an unrecognizable clunking under the car. Me being 1.5 hours away, I had him tow it to KM. My son went in, saying he suspected a drive train (i.e. $$$$) problem. These guys quickly diagnosed it as a loose emergency brake line & charged us $33 to tighten it. I never leave reviews or even make accounts on apps like this but people need to know my experience with this auto repair shop. I just bought a car recently used with high milage. Its a mercedes ml320 amazing vehicle looks almost new, but I bought it with no working windows and shotty door locks. The dealer saud he would take care of the issues but i cant seem to get ahold of him.. So i thought id deal with it myself. Recently i have also had starting issues which showed when he couldnt start the car to see what was wrong. What i am upset with was that the people running this shop acted like they wanted nothing to do with fixing my car or me being there at all he kept repeating call the guy that some it to you. Did not pop the hood once. Litterally did not wabt me business And was quite rude the intire time so i finally got my car to start and said good day. All i really expect is respect. I have been with the same mechanic for close to a decade and out of the blue, he shut down his business. The search went out for my new car doctor. I happen to stumble on K.M. Auto online and read the reviews. This shop is two miles from my house and decided to stop in and talk with them. As it turns out, I was able to speak with an excellent young man and found out he was one of the owner's son. I needed a battery, which I use Interstate only, they use Interstate. My check engine light has been coming on and off for 3/4 years now and the TPS has been changed two times and I needed repairs to get my emissions. After leaving my car, I received a phone call stating what the codes were on the check engine light and the cost of repairs. The next day I went by to pick up the car and was told that after replacing the thermostat and TPS they checked the contacts at the wiring harness and found it was so clogged that it wouldn't shut. They scrubbed and cleaned it and said it should have been done every time the TPS is changed and wasn't. Excellent attitudes, service, price and honesty. By the way, I use nothing but Castrol, guess who uses Castrol for oil changes. Yep, K.M. They are my new mechanics. read more

Unlike most other entires, I have had a long history with this shop...and it isn't good. This place charged me 700 dollars for changing spark plugs (on a Chevy S10) while I was deployed and couldn't contest the charge. They followed this up with a 1300 dollar clutch replacement, under the same circumstances. Ask any mechanic, this is absurdly expensive for an old domestic truck. This shop tends to WAY overcharge for pretty much any repair; the other reviews you see with positive rating tend to be older people who have always used this shop, and don't know they could get better service elsewhere. A same job this charge said would cost over 4000, another did for 2200. They are incredibly rude to me and talk down to me every time I go there. The final straw was when my girlfriend went in to pick up some spare keys I left there. She was lambasted and insulted, and they talked trash about me to my girlfriend. read more
