Terrible job, I just dropped $300 here to get ready for my road trip over the weekend and I typically do my own oil changes but I come here when I'm on a time crunch, So I know what I had before coming in. I was driving down the highway until my skid plate flew off my vehicle and was holding on by a screw, scrapping on the ground while doing 70mph . I pulled over and noticed that all the screws were missing on my skid plate underneath, there was zip ties everywhere and it was very half assed . Oil was leaking from my plug and it was stripped . I sat on the side of the highway trying to put my skid plate back on with spare screws I had and fixing the leak from my oil pan when I asked the technicians if I needed a new plug and he brushed me off like I didn't know anything. I usually go to Take 5 in Arvada, but I decided to try this place to save some time and money. Big mistake. Staff made me feel like choosing a synthetic blend would somehow ruin my car, even going so far as to say "If something goes wrong we can't cover it." The whole experience was uncomfortable and left me feeling pressured rather than helped. I regret bringing my car here and will definitely be making the drive back to Take 5 from now on. read more

I was hard sold on replacing air filter and said I would like to see it because my recollection was that it had been replaced in the not too distant past. Mechanic said he would inspect and show me if it needed replaced. After five our so minutes he came back and I was then told that i had no air filter installed when it was checked to see if it needed replaced. Well it turns out that the Ford dealership that did the last oil change verified the air filter was fine upon their inspection and verified it was installed. They then showed me the recorded video of the oil change and the inspections they performed on my vehicle. Quick (30 minutes give or take), efficient. No appointment needed. They found a few other problems (dirty filters, coolant reservoir dry) and I liked the way they walked through what was what so I could make an informed decision. Price was a little higher than I expected but it's easy to forget these guys have to dispose of the old oil and the inefficiency of an operation that doesn't require an appointment so didn't feel like I was being gouged. read more

These guys always do good work for me. I go here for my oil change every time and it's always done right and quick. Front desk staff is helpful and clear on what they're doing for you. Their additional services are just as good. Great if you need transmission and transfer case work. read more

Very disappointed in this store! I had called them this afternoon to see if they were open and could squeeze me in for an oil change-they told me it wouldn't be a problem. I got there at 4:20 (they close at 5) and they were already locked up (they knew I was on my way!!). Victor did a good job at facilitating the processes of understanding what needed to be done on my car.The rest of the workers also do a good job and making sure the job get done. Took my money, then tried to make me mask up... like I had no covid before they took my $$$ but suddenly had it after they took my $$$. Then, after 10 minutes of baking in the sun (because I wasn't allowed to sit inside), they told me they don't honor coupons... sent me elsewhere. Never did get an oil change. If you need an oil change and you come here guess what - they will change your oil!! And this place has everything you could ever want: indoor seating, outdoor seating, restroom, free wifi, free tv news, various reading materials, a trash bin, gum ball machine, and much more!! I would have given this place 5 stars but the free water fountain was out of service - but thankfully there was a helpful sign on the fountain that read "Out of Order" So the next time you come here to get an oil change, then you will be getting an oil change here. read more

Called ahead and verified that they could do brake work on my company vehicle. They checked model and year, confirming they could. I setup an appointment for the next day. Brought in vehicle and they said they absolutely could not touch it because it's not a model or year they work on and that I should have called ahead...which I had done. Took my car in for an oil change. I handed the dude my car keys, he asked me to leave them in the car. I said, "uh, no! I'm not leaving my keys inside my (unattended) car in this neighborhood." He says, "it won't get stolen, everyone's keys are left in the car." I again repeated, no. He said "if it gets stolen, it's covered under our insurance." I left and will never go back. read more

I received a gift card for an oil change for Grease Monkey. When I went to this location, I was told that they do not accept cards that were purchased from other locations. Okay, I understand that. A few days later, needing the air checked in my tires, I pull up, ask if they can top off and check my tires. I was told not unless I had service there before. I have been going to this Grease Monkey for 10 years. They did decent work (I never had any problems), and it was really convenient to stop by and just get the job done. The prices weren't the best, and they started annoying aggressive up-selling of additional expensive services a few years back, but I dealt with that by just telling them up front that I would not be interested in anything except the oil change. I will not be returning ever again after my recent trip there. Apparently they didn't like that I told them I didn't want any other services, because they let my car sit in the bay for an hour and a half without finishing it. When I first asked about my car, I was assured that they take every car in order that it arrives. But when I started to see other people who had arrived well after me were checking out and driving away, I finally pushed them to let me know what was going on. I was told that my air filter was dirty and needed replacing. They apparently looked for me once and didn't find me right there in the waiting area, so they just left the "dirty" air filter on top of the car and left me waiting for an extra hour without checking again. If you're like me, it takes a certain amount of trust to let people work on your car, even if it's just for an oil change. I'm not feeling it anymore for this place. Of course, the comment card they left for me every other time was nowhere to be seen, so it was clear they didn't want anyone to hear about it. If the only thing you have going for you is convenience, then you get rid of that, the only loyal customers you have left will never come back. read more

I brought my car in for an oil change. As usual, they insisted that I needed new air filters and windshield wiper blades. I declined. After the oil change was complete, I got back into my car and the DRIVER'S SEAT WAS BROKEN. The back of the seat was pushed so far back it was in a reclined position. I went into the office and they denied it. They then said the seat was that way when I came in. I would have been nearly impossible to drive with the seat like that. Thanks Grease Monkey! read more

Terrible customer service, overpriced. This place charged me $20 more than I usually pay for my regular synthetic oil change. I had to go there because they don't require appointments and my oil change had to be done ASAP. The staff is not friendly and just want to get the most out of your pocket. I came back two weeks after to get my tire air pressure checked. They asked if I was a customer (seriously?) I showed them the sticker and they asked me to wait. I had to wait for 30 minutes. When they gave me the car, the tire light was still on. I asked them to turn it off and they told me it would turn off by itself after driving. A week went by and the light was still on. I ended up going to a tire place where they rotated the tires and turned the light off without asking me if I was a costumer. I would not recommend Grease Monkey to anyone. read more

This is my place for quick in and out oil change. I have learned not to buy their additional services. It seems like every time I go for the oil change they will tell me that the air filter is in poor condition and much more needed services. Sometimes they are very pushy trying to sell their additional services. read more

Not a fan of their customer service. I had coupons with a barcode as well as a numerical code on my phone and they told me they needed a hard copy and wouldn't accept it. If I wasn't on a lunch break and in serious need of an oil change I would have left. Offered no suggestions on which oil would be best for my car.
