They had a look at my water heater and determined it needed to be replaced. We had been wanting to get a new tankless water heater for quite some time but my husband wanted to wait until we were in need of replacing our current hot water heater tank. Steve gave us a quote for replacing our current 75 gallon water heater with a tankless Navien model that would go in our garage in the same place as our old water heater. The price was fair and we agreed to go with the work. Later that morning Efficient Plumbing ordered our tankless water heater, delivered it, removed our old water heater and installed the new tankless water heater for us. They did an amazing job with all the necessary modifications to make the conversion from tank to tankless and we were thrilled with the end result. We now have endless hot water that we once never had. Efficient Plumbing has once again came to our rescue when we have been in need of a plumber! They are the best plumbers and I will continue working with them on any future projects or improvements that we may need.

Evelin answered the phone and walked me through on how to shut the water off to the house immediately to stop the water damage. Hector came out within the hour and got to work diagnosing our issue. He is knowledgeable and very experienced and we always feel like we are in good hands. Our ceiling was opened and it turned out to be a copper pin hole leak on the water line in the ceiling above the dining room that feeds our master bathroom. Hector skillfully repaired the water leak and also advised us to consider a whole house repipe since this was not our first leak. They gave us their estimate the same day for the whole house repipe and even offered to credit the repairs made with Hector towards the repipe which was a big help. We decided to move forward and had them repipe our whole house the following week. They got it done in one day and everything went great! A few days later the drywall was patched up and we were all done! Over time, the wood started rotting and paint started peeling off. With El Niño approaching, I wanted to get this fixed. I spent several weeks researching handymen and door repair specialists. Most people I contacted wanted to completely replace both the door frame and the door itself which was quite costly. Additionally, my door and the upper jambs were still in great condition, and I didn't want to be wasteful by throwing those away. One person told me that this sort of repair was too difficult and didn't want to take it on. Ivan responded that he had fixed similar issues before and quoted me a reasonable price. Ivan arrived on time and got right to work. Something that I really appreciated was he took the time to explain step by step what he was going to do. The end result looked fantastic. He was able to replace the bottom jams, paint, and seal everything to the point where it looked like there had never been any damage in the first place. We had rain a week after the repair was done and my door jambs were bone dry the entire time. One thing I do want to note is that Ivan does have a a team that works under him. If you want Ivan specifically, you will need to request him but know that you might need to wait a little longer because he is very popular. I don't foresee having any more door issues since he did such a great job but if I ever do, I will definitely contact Ivan again.

Super impressed bc he asked if I was able to reset the garbage disposal and explained to me the Allen wrench trick to see if I could get the disposal working. He was very patient in guiding me on what to do. Sadly, both tricks didn't work and we needed a new disposal. He gave me a prelim quote for all 3 jobs and it was a fair price. After completing, he showed me how he tested for leaks after doing the repairs -- and all were leak free! It worked for a few months, and then it was clogged again. I called Sewer Nation for help this time. Eric inspected everything inside out with his camera first and found out the problem was much further out. He hydro jetted the whole line and cleaned out the oil built up from the last 10+ years, now it's perfect. Then Eric came back to install a new toilet for us. Initially we thought it was a quick and easy job, then it turned into a 7-hour project. As soon as Eric removed the toilet, we found roots were growing all round the ground outgoing hole. Eric put in the camera and found out the roots have been growing all the way to the sewer access outside! And the sewer access opening was broken as well. Erci cleaned out everything with a special cutter to cut all the internal roots and hydro jetted them out, then replaced the outside sewer access opening as well. I had a clog in my bathroom sink…read more had VIP sewer come out to do a snake but the associates came in so hot right out the gate on blatant upsells and "issues" that could not be resolved with just a snake. even so far to point out that there's teflon tape on the pipes that can't be replaced / they don't the specialty tape... TEFLON tape?! hahaha i ain't stupid. once they snaked and was not able to get through, they said that the next step was to find the clog in the wall open the wall cut out the pipe and replace (a 1.5k+ job) i asked if there were any other options like hydro-jetting or such and they said hydro jetting would spew out everywhere not able to be done second floor i did my due diligence and called a few contractors that knew plumbers that werent on yelp a guy came in the next day, hydro-jetted the clog out in 30 minutes without needed to do any of the above, and only charged me $60 lol beware of the upsell! + though, since they did not get the clog out they did not charge me, just off putting on the blatant upsell. the owner seemed nice though.

They were able to help address the immediate plumbing issue, but overall I'm giving 3 stars mainly because of the pricing, results, and communication. In my experience, the cost added up very quickly. The initial recommendation included snaking and a camera inspection, and after that did not resolve the issue, hydro jetting was recommended to address roots in the sewer line. I ended up spending over $2,000 (at least one third could have been saved if they did root cause diagnosis before snaking), but after the service, roots were still visible in the sewer line, so I'm still unclear on how much the hydro jetting actually accomplished. Communication after the service could also have been much better. The company advertises 24-hour service, but when I called after hours, I was unable to reach anyone. I also didn't receive a very clear explanation afterward of what was accomplished, what remained unresolved, or what the next steps should be. Overall, the technicians were hard working, punctual and helpful, but considering the cost, I would strongly recommend getting quotes and second opinions from a few plumbing companies before committing to several thousand dollars of work. For a major sewer or root issue, I would also make sure the expected outcome and warranty are clearly explained in writing before proceeding, there is a lack of post service communication .
