I am in Orange County and building an ADU and JADU on my property which required new water service lines (including out and underneath the street to the water main), new sewer lines and laterals, and also new gas lines. After a lot of research and quotes, nobody, I mean absolutely nobody came close to the price, professionalism, punctuality, and flexibility to Drill Sub. They did all the trenching and took all safety precautions. They have a Type A license so they can do all RoW Public Works work. They personally know the Inspectors at the city making the red-tape process smooth (the inspector really trust these guys). They also allowed to sub-contract the water main saddle install and a new driveway approach saving me so much headache since few companies have this license and if they do they are super expensive.
They also do "pipe bursting" and "moling" so anytime you need to go under streets, cement, or foundation they have an innovative way to do it, saving me a lot of money, mess, and time. They were always on time, flexible to my schedule, and priced lower then others. I know it sounds too good to be true, but they are really that good.
To be honest I can write even more on their wonderful staff that was modest and hard working and also RobertM who led the entire effort and was in constant communications with me. They took care of all the paperwork and inspection headaches that me, as an inexperienced homeowner, is trying to navigate.
My only regret is that I did not listen to them when they offered to do all the piping as well. I trusted my plumber instead and that was a mistake. These guys do it cheaper and use far better piping material.
I would not be writing this book of a review if I was not extremely impressed with these guys. I have another project coming up next year and will definitely use these guys again. read more
