    Blueberry Cheesecake
    Shawn P.

Hubby took me to Graze for our Anniversary Dinner on Friday night and WOW!! Food was incredible. We started off with the Korean Fried Chicken which came with a delicious parmesan ranch. I got the Friday fish fry and hubby got the Bone-In Pork Chop with jalapeño grits, white bbq, and a blueberry gastrique. Both main dishes were some of the best food we've ever had. And of course ended with the Blueberry Cheesecake! Not only is the food amazing, the restaurant is right on the downtown Madison capital square with a stunning view that can be enjoyed from all seating. They also have patio seating. We came for regular brunch menu on Easter Sunday. The ambience is open, airy, and inviting. Service was prompt and accurate. However, our server wasn't super familiar with the menu and didn't know what was in certain dishes. We ordered a variety of dishes. Overall, everyone liked their meals. The flavors were great. Love the Korean fusion. However... despite that we were the first ones in the door, they did not have the chicken that was on the menu. That seemed strange to all of us that they didn't plan ahead for a holiday weekend. A solid restaurant would usually have their menu items well stocked prior to a holiday weekend. Overall, still a good expertise if you're willing to be flexible.

Top tier dining in Madison. The bibimbap has been my favorite for years. Farm to table ingredients, thoughtful dishes, and a great atmosphere with a lovely view. If you go on a weekend, be sure to get a reservation!

Had a reservation and got sat almost immediately. Cheese board was not bad, a little overpriced. The fish fry and bimbimbap were just okay. Overall, the restaurant is nice but I would not go back.

I know most people like it here, but everytime I've been here over the years something has gone astray. This time we went to Sunday brunch with a group, including some kids. We had reservations, so we were seated right away which was a plus. Also, I will say I don't think any of the issues we had were because of our waitress. She was super friendly and quick enough to take our orders on a day when there restaurant seemed full enough, but manageable. We got our drink orders in and our food at the same time to speed up the process for getting little kids food, and the waitress even took note of that. We also ordered an appetizer to help during the wait. It took a while for the drinks to come out, but they were all rather tasty. I think my apple cider mocktail was the best and refreshing since it was getting hot in the restaurant with the sun beating in. Our food however took forever and the kids meals did not come out any earlier than everyone else. One person in our group also initially didn't get his meal, which the waitress apologized and said there was a mixup in the kitchen. That's fine, it happens, but then the staff running meals tried to bring him the wrong order 3 times. The rest of us were all finished eating by the time he finally got his food. Overall, the food was fine. I got the eggs benedict which was a little underdone on the eggs for me as the whites were too runny for me. The kids chicken nuggets were pretty tasty with a flaky breading. I heard decent reviews of the breakfast burger, but the thing that was the best to us was the breakfast sandwich. It was quite messy, but the messiness of the sauce was worth it. We also got an appetizer of the cinnamon roll. I feel like it's a little mislabeled though, as it was more like a morning bun with some frosting/glaze over the top. Tasted pretty good and helped keep kids entertained for a while. Overall, the food was fine, but the experience wasn't great. With the multiple mixups in orders and getting a little green house effect going with the sun shining in, there wsnt a great feeling when leaving. Again, I don't think it was our waitresses fault, so not sure what was going on in the kitchen.

I came here again, with some friends, and one of us is vegetarian. Our server offered her a vegetarian menu which was greatly appreciated. We loved the interior decor and the large windows that gave us awesome lighting. Service was prompt and our water glasses were never empty! Food was delicious!!! We also ordered a mimosa flight. The tart cherry was definitely the best tasting flavor out of our flight and we loved it.

Graze is a stable downtown. Blend of WI pub food with a korean and sometimes Spanish twist. Love their desserts, I think dinner is just okay, but I really enjoy their bunch. Dumplings were great and this one sorta cold brew cocktail was great.

All the food was incredible. We also ordered the Cesar salad, housemade strozzapreti, and the chefs burger. Cant wait to go back and try more of the menu.

While wondering around downtown Madison, we passed by Graze a few times and finally decided to swing in for Sunday brunch...and we are happy we did! Graze is a local eatery that focuses on fresh-made, locally sourced food and drink. For brunch, we started with a few bloody Mary's and then dove into the food. I went with the Korean Fried Chicken Honey Biscuit with fries and my buddy went with the Loaded Hashbrowns. Both meals were cooked well, and delicious! The fried chicken was crispy, well breaded, perfectly fried and coated in that amazing sauce. My only gripe is the biscuit. The biscuit was great taste wise, but the way it was cut with the bottom being too thin made it unable to be picked up and ate as a biscuit. I ended up eating ugh with a fork and knife. The space itself is gorgeous. High ceilings, dark colors, wood accents, industrial seating, local art and massive windows on three sides looking out onto the downtown streets. Service was great as well. The bartenders and food runners were helpful, friendly and pleasant. Overall, wildly impressed with Graze. Definitely on my list for my next trip to Madison!

What an absolute gem of a spot. Every single employee seemed genuinely happy to work here and the service was OUT of this world. The location is so fantastic but the menu is really something else. There really is something to satisfy every craving. My table ordered quite an assortment of foods. I got the chicken and waffles and ... WOW.... What a great Asian take on the classic chicken and waffles! All of the plates looked absolutely terrific. I got a mocktail and it was very solid, as were the cocktails as well! The ambiance is cozy but feels moderately upscale (not in a scary way)! Kent was out of this world and so friendly with us! They were out of a couple things but his suggestions were great and he was just a really friendly person! Great great great spot!

They come with ranch and hot honey, and apparently they recently won best cheese curd at the cheese curd crawl. They were super tasty. Well seasoned, perfectly fried, and kind of chewy. I am not on the hot honey frenzy train, but I tried it and thought it paired well, just wasn't for me. The ranch was tasty though. Even the happy hour portion was hefty and I couldn't put down half. A little wine and cheese on a beautiful day, just makes for a good experience. They were making some pretty interesting cocktails behind the bar, and it is definitely worth coming back to try out their other options.

Once a bank, this two-story space has gone from counting dollars to counting cocktails, and…read morehonestly, it seems very happy about it. The old bones are still showing, with exposed brick walls and the large open windows giving the place that "well, they sure don't build 'em like this anymore" kind of charm. Right smack in the middle of the main floor sits a big ol' bar, surrounded by bright lime-green accent chairs that somehow make perfect sense once you're sitting in one, bellying up to the aluminum topped bar. Tables are scattered throughout both floors, all are absolutely packed, and not a grumpy face in sight. Upstairs, the two-story layout gives the place a little extra breathing room and a touch of old-building grandeur. It's quirky without trying too hard, colorful without being fussy, and comfortable in that distinctly Midwestern way. Why not start with an Old Fashioned and those Wisconsin cheese curds--because apparently regular cheese wasn't doing enough heavy lifting. These little golden nuggets come out hot, crisp, and gloriously greasy, a little salty, a little oily, plenty cheesy, and best eaten while they're still hot enough to make you question your life choices. The Old Fashioned, well... bless its heart, it tried. It had all the usual suspects--whiskey, a little sweetness, an orange garnish, and a healthy dose of bitters--but somehow the bitters forgot to show up for work. It wasn't terrible, exactly. It just lacked that gruff Wisconsin attitude you'd hope for in an Old Fashioned. God Bless The Queen! The Queen is their wood-fired pizza that keeps things simple while teasing your taste buds with rich fresh flavor. The flavors are classic Italian comfort, with the tomato bringing a little tang, the mozzarella keeping things creamy, and the Parmesan adding that salty, nutty punch at the end. The basil gives it a fresh, herby lift, while the wood-fired crust brings that smoky, crispy edge that makes you want to pick up another slice before you've even finished the first. Loved it! Eating this pizza in an old bank feels like peak Wisconsin: keep the brick, add a bar, fire up a pizza oven, and throw some cheese curds at the situation. Somehow, it works. Cheers!

The sangria is strong but you won't know it until you stand up. We started with the cheese puppies and they had a fantastic pull to them. Some of the best version of cheese curds I've had in a while. My husband and I both had salads and the bowl was too small for the salad but it was a decent salad I do wish the cheese was sprinkled on top as it ended up going to the bottom of the bowl. For an entree I had steak frites. Fries were solid and the cooking of the steak was good with the charcoal but it didn't have much flavor. The chard on the side was also good considering I've never had it. For dessert we had the valentine special chocolate cake and again it was good but nothing super special. We didn't stick around the bar too long but enough to get a winning pull tab. I would come back for the bar tenders they seemed chill.

The menu is filled with elevated pub food, a few classics and then a few twists on those very classics. Come hinge, because the menu is carb-driven, so be ready to eat! To start, we went with the poutine, because why not! The fries were crispy, gravy was velvety and the curds were firm, yet melty enough for a good cheese pull! For our mains, we both went sandwiches. I went with the Celtic Burger, which is their standard burger with added caramel iced onion, whiskey bacon jam, Irish cheddar and a garlic aioli. The burger was good and cooked well, but it was less impressive than I expected given all the goods they added to it. While the aforementioned additions sound like a flavor bomb, it was still fairly one note in overall flavor. It was still tasty, but again, not as expected. My buddy went with the corned beef sandwich. He enjoyed it, no major issues! I did appreciate that exchanging fries with fried curds was an option, especially after loaded up on fries as a starter.
